just to be clear - if your takeaway from movements such as #MeToo is not "wow the sheer number of women who get sexually harassed/abused is astronomical we should do something about it" and is instead "what if i get falsely accused?" then you need to do some serious introspection. you aren't a victim, you havent been a victim but you're prioritizing the possibility of you potentially being a victim to an incredibly rare crime over an actual victim of a prevelant and common crime. thats problematic.
