Known as an "emancipated duel," it was a private event for women only. Baroness Lubinska, physician for the famous 1892 duel between Princess Pauline Metternich and Countess Anastasia Kielmannsegg suggested they duel topless to prevent infection. Kinda wild how most people generally recognize that the "too sick to go to school, too sick to watch tv/play games" mindset our parents had was bullshit but still impose essentially the exact same rules on disabled adults and scrutinize them for enjoying low-energy hobbies while being too fatigued or in pain to work a full time job (or any job at all)
Fun how the bystander effect was coined to cover up how cops are bigoted cowards who let a queer person die and stockholm syndrome was coined to cover that the cops handled a hostage situation so badly the hostages trusted their captors more than the cops.
