Still, it’s… it sucks that you have to deal with it.  And I’m sorry for that, I don’t think I’d be the only one, either.  Don’t worry about.

I needed that.  And, like, I know that it’s sort of… it’s very Barton Hollow, but a lot of people don’t like mixing.  The more mythical beings, especially.  And for now, I don’t know, I think they like me.

Well, you're not too mythical. You're a ghost. You were always human. So, anything that gets along with humans can get along with you, and anything that doesn't get along with humans may still get along with you, because you're more of an entity now and they can't exactly touch you. As long as you want to try, you'll mix with whomever has the right personality. We're kind of mixing, aren't we?

Phoebe smiled and nodded her head. “Well thank you, Skyler.” She replied. “Phoebe.” She slipped the wallet back into her bag, relaxing and making sure that it was closed this time. Confident that it wouldn’t fall out again, she turned her attention back towards the young man, an unsure expression on her features. “Do you want a coffee or something? I feel like that’s the least I can do for giving my wallet back. Other people would have taken it without a second thought.”

Skyler fought the urge to dismiss the gratitude. He never saw himself as a hero, or as a savior, so he often brushed off the comments modestly, a slight pink color blanketing his cheeks. "It's nice to meet you, Phoebe," he replied instead, his smile friendly. When she offered coffee, he brought his wrist up to check his watch, then shrugged slightly, figuring he had enough time to grab a drink before returning to work. "You don't have to repay me, honestly. Though, I could accompany you to get coffee- I've got time before I have to work."

No, it really isn't. But, what can you do?

Roo laughed and surrendered to Sky’s extremely valid point. He’d never had a long time room mate but if he had, they’d probably need something to keep from dropping off the deep end due to his incessant need to watch Dirty Dancing. In his defense, though, he did switch it to Step Up occasionally. “Yeah, that’s my fantasy anyway. Wouldn’t it make a worthy sequel? I think so." There were so many things Roo wanted to ask his best friend as he let the silence sink in for a minute, taking the time to soak in his presence. How were things going with Sam, if they were at all? How was he in general? And another question that he was even more hesitant to ask, had he spoken to Scar? There was nothing he couldn’t figure out on his own, anyway. Besides, for now, other priorities of his came before the rest. "I have to go pick up some milk and bagels for you know who. Wanna come play grown up with me?”

"I wouldn't know. I can see your shit practically whenever I want- I don't need a porno to see it," commented the blonde with a laugh. It wasn't a secret that all the members of the Street Rat Pack had slept together, with the exception of Sam. With Sky and Roo being the founding members, they had a pretty intimate relationship before Scar and Lou came along. Skyler only hoped his relationship with Roo wouldn't change, for God knew his and Lou's as well as his (and everyone's) and Sam's had. At the same time Roo had pondered questions for Skyler, he had questions of his own for the brunet. What had he been up to since Skyler left LA? Did he know Scar had lived so close to him at that time? His questions were interrupted by a request, and one which caused the blonde to smile. "I would love to. What's my role this time?"

Why would I yell at you? It’s absolutely none of my business, and I could just move if I was that annoyed by it.

Phoebe’s eyes widened at the sight of her wallet. “Oh, thank you!” She exclaimed. She took her wallet, giving him a wide smile. “You’re a life saver. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I’d lost it..” Phoebe’s wallet not only contained her credit card and cash but some personal items including the letter from her father. She toted it around out of fear that her parents or one of the many other persons who made their way into her home would find it. Losing it would only increase the chance of her newly discovered secret being found out. Phoebe returned her attention to the stranger. “What’s your name so I can thank you properly?”

Skyler smiled at the look of gratitude upon the woman's face. There were times when people he showed kindness to brushed him off- and that had actually been happening a lot, recently- so he was relieved to see she was happy someone had decided to perform the good deed of returning her wallet. Skyler was used to being humble, but didn't reject the compliment after Phoebe mentioned how much she needed the wallet. He knew nothing of its contents, but he assumed something dire was in there, and maybe he was a hero for returning it. "I'm Skyler," he introduced with a friendly smile, "and you are...?"

It could go both ways, though, a lot of remorse on both sides— it’s depressing, I don’t want to think about it.  No, I’m probably not, but there must be rules?  I never see any of them talking to people, or really, continuing on with their lives.

Don't be. You have no involvement. 

Why would there be rules? Interspecies interaction is basically the foundation of Barton Hollow, so restrictions on ghost behavior is discriminatory. You can talk to whomever you want, and they'll learn to accept this new you- or if they don't, you don't need them in your life.

Phoebe stepped out of the building’s door, allowing it to shut behind her. She was about to be on her way when she heard someone call out to her. Turning her head in their direction, Phoebe waited until they reached her. “Yes?” She asked.

Skyler's day was a little less busy than usual, with less and less homes needing repair so long after the hurricane, though building new homes and repairing a few here and there would always fill his work days. Between projects, the blonde decided to pick up some new tools he'd needed, as well as a few other things from other shops around town during his lunch break. As he was leaving one of the stores, he noticed a wallet fall from the bag of a woman in front of him, and rushed to pick it up and call out for her. Once she stopped, he approached her, extending the wallet out so she could see it before he reached her. "You dropped your wallet."

Noted. I’ll let you know when I decide to become a rebel. Well, I just so happen to know my way around the woods. I run here a lot, so yes, I was working out. Wanna join?

“Wherever we end up first or even along the way. Come on, Robin, where’s your spontaneity gone?”, Roo asked, nudging his friend with a huge grin plastered across his face. “Seattle? Isn’t that like the London of the U.S.? It’s just constantly raining?" Pausing for a moment with a cartoonish, curious look he added finally, "a place like that really needs someone like you, huh?" He nodded, pulling his arm behind his back in the beginning of a stretch routine. "You know me all too well it’s sickening.” Laughing in a childlike chuckle kind of way, he went on to the next step and grabbed his foot to bend his leg in another stretch. “I know I could out dance that poser any day. Baby would be mine ten minutes into the movie.”

"It went when I left LA- how could I be spontaneous without my Roo?" Skyler's grin returned the size of Roo's, and his hand reached out to shove his friend in a similarly playful manner. "I guess? I've never been to London," answered the blonde with a shrug. His expression turned to a large smile, seemingly at Roo's comment, but for another reason instead. Scar had made a similar comment about Sky's bright self in gloomy Seattle, and the thought of his two friends who were once so close sharing a thought made him smile. In a time where the Street Rat Pack was more separated than ever, it was a godsend for a moment that reminded him of old times, no matter how coincidental it was. "Roo, anyone who's known you for more than a few hours knows you're obsessed with that movie." Skyler laughed as he admired Roo's flexibility, a quality he felt only added to the man's spirited personality. He was so nimble that Sky believed that were it not for his name, he may have been given the nickname Tigger instead of Scar. "Yeah? Then what? Dirty Dancing: the Porno?"

Wouldn’t it be at the back of your mind, anyway?  It is a strange place.

I wouldn’t— nothing at all couldn’t be too bad?  It’d be better for him, why should he have to worry about a dead girl, right?  I’ll find someone, soon.  Or not.  It doesn’t matter much, maybe something like fate’ll work on my side better.

"I’m ariel, i’m not sure if i said it already…but It’s really nice to meet you!" she was clearly still in a state of shock lingering between a slight sort of denial and euphoria, but never aloof to the subject as she wouldn’t allow herself to be negligent, she leaned her head and stared in confusion "But why were you going to the hospital? its everything alright?"

"You didn't, but it's very nice to meet you, too." Skyler wasn't surprised there were others like him; if an angel could reproduce with a human once, it could probably happen again. "Oh, yeah, everything's fine. I work there, sort of."

Your general lack of enthusiasm towards my habits. People who smoke usually know the feeling of waiting to have one, and they also usually ask for one.

"Whip out your best material for me later, yeah?", he winked. "From L.A. and now, I mean. You up and vanished like most Christopher Robins do." Roo hugged him back, lingering for a bit and then squeezed the other tightly. Skylar was warm in every sense of the word and in a different way than anyone else. It was almost like he was reunited with a piece of himself. "Oh, shut up.", he teased, finally pulling back even though he stayed close enough to make it seem like he really didn’t. "I’ve been around just trying to find the right time to strike."

"Your place or mine?" asked the blonde with a raised eyebrow and a grin. "Oh, I ended up in Seattle, stayed there for a little while, then came back here. LA wasn't for me; you knew that." The hug only reminded Sky how much he missed Roo, from the soft, lingering moment, to the harsher and equally as affectionate squeeze, which he returned. "Yeah, okay. What have you really been up to? Seeing how long you can stay up watching Dirty Dancing?"
