“Here, in my solitude, I have the feeling that I contain too much humanity.”
—
This frase is from Ingmar Bergman.
It comes from a very interesting interview to Dorthe Nors.
She reflects on her experience of writing and the discipline required to produce art and she challenges the view that artists need bad experiences and pain to produce unique work. What an artirst needs is solitude, she argues.
