art's been hard lately. trying to return to my roots, drawing the kind of stuff i drew back when i first started drawing as a kid—focusing less on the final results and more on the simple joy of watching lines and colors take shape. it winds up looking a lot less technically skilled, but i've been enjoying the process a lot more.

honestly really glad i found that chalk in the park today. i've been having trouble drawing lately, but finding that chalk made me want to create something with it. so, for the first time in a while, i drew something. a few things, even. i think maybe changing up my mediums is a good idea—it keeps me from getting too burnt out.

i hadn't checked the notes on this blog in a while bc i just don't tend to check them very often but omg... so much love and kindness and ahhh!! i'm just taken aback by it all... people are sharing in my love of the ordinary, talking about how much they like my art, there's even someone gushing about my ocs...!

anyway. i guess it just made me feel very seen and appreciated :) i've been having a lot of trouble lately, both with drawing and just life in general... it makes me really happy to see how appreciated my art is on here <3 i really want to draw more soon! i want to keep making art and poetry and connecting with people all over the world <3 <3 <3 thank you so much!!!
