My favorite part of this is “when I am no longer fit to rule” because

1. Implying Bumi was fit to rule at any point

1.1 except maybe in the sense that he was completely shredded

2. That he has no plans to die, (nor would death necessarily make him unfit to rule), but that he apparently intends to like. Tuck his arms and legs into himself and just roll off into the sunset.

3. Given that the Earth Kingdom has an actual ruling family that causes some drama in LoK, Toph continuing to cause monarchy confusion is both 100% in character and fucking hilarious.

You're white before you're queer.

I can easily avoid homophobia by just simply hiding the fact that I am a lesbian.

Yeah okay, I can't easily hide my assigned sex by birth (I'm nonbinary), but I'm really tall, I have a buzzcut, hoodies easily hide my chest, as long as I don't talk, I can pass as a boy.

A lot of times people in public do mistakes me for a guy.

And yes, hiding your queerness? Sucks. It really does. Having to find ways to protect yourself is a form of oppression.

But people of color?

They can't just hide their skin color.

When people see me, before they see anything else, they see a white person. So usually, people assume I am sensible, and calm.

But when a white person sees a black person, they immediately assume they are a thief, they are loud, they are "ghetto".

I can avoid oppression.

People of Color cannot.
