"Neku, we’re synced, let’s try finish these vermin with our own fusion skills, Mia will be fine if we can get her back to Wild Kat!“ Joshua said before ducking, narrowly avoiding a bite to his own back from a garage wolf. He was actually started to break a sweat… if this kept up, his scars would be visible soon, and he definitely didn’t want Neku seeing them.

"These damned mongrels keep attacking me!” Joshua said with a huff, trying to keep calm. He was practically mashing buttons now. Jumping and floating away, the noise just kept coming… there was not choice, “Sorry Mia this is going to hurt!” he dropps several piles of junk on the girl trying to get at least a couple hits on the head, it’d probably upset Neku, but he’d have to explain that it was Aramia’s emotions attracting all the noise and if she stayed awake she’d just attract more. Knocking her out was the only choice

“Neku I’m fine! Look out, behind you!!” A sudden burst of power as she sent a pillar of ice to knock noise away from Neku, too close behind him and Joshua. As Aramia fought, she was extremely nervous. Great, were the wave of noise not ending because of her? Aramia tried her damndest to keep the noise off of the boys.

She momentarily froze when hearing Joshua apologize, why? why did he… she then realized a little too late when junk fell, some hitting her right on the head making her fall over, hopefully Joshua and Neku could cover her because for now, she’d be out of commission and of no use to them, though according to Joshua, no more waves of noise should be coming along.

{With his attention focused on the wolves, he hadn’t sensed the noise closing in on him, and by the time he did, he’d had no time to react, on top of how his pins where in cooldown. Thankfully, Aramia used some pillars of ice to stab into the noise. He’d thank her if he’d had time for that but Joshua was punching numbers in, and the form of random piles of junk materialized, heaping themselves onto Aramia, knocking her out in no time.}

{He’d turned facing Joshua, initially wanting to yell at him. What the hell? Why would you do something like THAT. But he was sharp, and realized as Joshua urged him to use their Level 3 Fusion Spell that he had done so , so that no more Noises would show up as a result of Mia’s emotions. Like those Highschool Girls he had to deal with when playing the game before.}

“Another world awaits, right?”

{He’d smiled for a brief moment, gripping his part of the fusion pin, letting their attack come out in the full force of a meteor crashing itself into the very earth. Such an attack was huge, and there was no way the Noises left would survive the blow with how much they already were hurt and how weak they were.}

“Yes, and you’re going!” Joshua allowed his power to flow through and given how this time they were both using the composer’s full strength without restrictions, every single noise nearby was completely obliterated. The blond huffed in slight agitation, “Ugh, I think I broke a sweat.” Joshua cringed before hovering over to Aramia and pressing buttons on his phone to allow the junk to dematerialize.

“Great, she has a puncture wound on her shoulder, and a concussion thanks to me.” Joshua said pointing to her bleeding head, “for a thick headed, stubborn girl, she sure is soft headed.” he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief to at least wipe her face clean of blood.

“Looks like you’re going to have to carry Mia, Neku.” He said with a small smirk, “She’d be way too heavy for me to lift. She might look light, but. Plus, I certainly don’t want to sweat anymore.” That wasn’t the only reason either, he’d rather Neku deal with the awkward feeling of Mia’s chest against his back than deal with it himself. Mia had quite a bit in the chest area which was exactly what he he didn’t want to feel. Picking her up bridal style was out of the question with a concussion, her head was most likely to shake around, and with the punctured shoulder, they’d get blood on them if they carried her bridal style…

Joshua thought about it and cringed “Piggyback would be the best way to carry her, I wouldn’t recommend bridal style given how blood could stain the front of your shirt. Her puncture wound is located her shoulder, towards the spine, so..” Joshua waved his hand about as if hoping Neku understood what he was getting at.

“this fucking update it absolutely infuriating!” Joshua doesn’t usually cuss like that so you know he’s pissed.

The brunette was jumping back and avoiding the attacks of the frog noise, immediately following up with the electrical attacks from her enormous scythe. She steadied herself but soon Serenity was screaming at her to move because of incoming junk, “Oi, how about fucking telling me you’re here yeah?!” Because her attention was caught by Joshua, it wasn’t long before fell over because a garage wolf knocked her into the ground.

“Ow!” well shit, it bit her, puncture wounds, especially from something like a wolf were a little harder to treat and getting the blood out from her jacket would be a huge pain, speaking of, given it was near her old sore scars on her back, this was going to leave her in pain later. While on the ground she saw some flowers nearby, she felt bad but they had to die, she used her energy to drain the the flowers of all water before freezing it and using the frozen water to pierce the wolf that was about to pounce her again.

She scrambled to her feet, she wanted to yell at Joshua for putting Neku in danger like this but she also knew Neku wasn’t a little kid and it was his choice whether or not he stayed to help. Aramia, calm down, you’re far too aggravated, their will be for naught if you keep it up, for you will attract more of those creatures, then it will be your fault if the boys are to be harmed. Aramia growled, she knew Serenity was right, and she felt bad because Joshua would probably scold her for not better controlling her emotions, which she predicted would start the fight all over again.

{Illegal player?! Well, no time to worry about the consequences that might have right now, Aramia was being attacked! Neku grabs onto the pins Joshua gave him, feeling a rush of energy, just like he had back in those three weeks. He grips onto the Black Jupiter pin, using his psyche to fire off some lightning bolts at the frog Noise that she was dodging, letting Joshua go for the wolves on the other side.}

“Mia!!”

{…Looked like they weren’t fast enough to prevent her from being injured all together, as his eyes flash from the frogs he were frying to the scream she let out as the wolf Noise bit her back. Shit…! If only they were synced, he could just use Black Saturn to help with that!}

Neku should keep in mind, and pay attention to the fact that Joshua was repeating what he heard from Hanekoma, especially the part about Shio Ramen, that was his favorite after all, made him want to put up with Mia just to try the ramen. "I'm not sure, Sanae told me all of this and I only thought of it because I had a craving for Shio Ramen, so ... Mia's dream came along with it, come to think of it, it would explain her habit of acting like she's everyone's mother. Pushy." Joshua admit it, you like that because it makes you feel like you have a mom again, even if you two don't get along.

She sniffed and cried as she wandered around the shops. No pin, no one to bother her. Aramia looked around at the shops and almost wished there was a paint store, or a book store, maybe she could buy some paints and draw some graffiti like some of what she’d see on some of her jobs that made her got to other worlds. She sniffed quietly and considered going to Hachiko, maybe rubbing the dog for some good luck could improve her chances of not running into Joshua. He was a manipulative asshole, he probably forced Neku to help him.

She was forgetting that this Neku actually somewhat liked her, and that he was likely helping Joshua find her of his own free will. Though when she thought about it, she wouldn’t mind running into Neku, she liked this one, a lot, he was nice, he didn’t make her made and he didn’t make her want to cry or scream at him. Hell, she even had a lot in common with him. Well… it was the same with the other Neku but, he didn’t like her, he found her annoying, she started acting like Joshua in retaliation to really show him annoying, and that just made it worse.

This Neku was nice to her, all the more reason she didn’t want to mess up. Thus she decided to leave 104 and look for Hachiko, rubbing Hachiko in the name of a good, long lasting friendship was surely something the spirit of such a loyal dog would grant, right? It took a while but soon she arrived at Hachiko and began to rub the statue’s back and then rubbed it’s head. It made her happy for a bit and took her mind off things that was until she heard growling coming from behind her. Aramia you fool! You left your emotions to fester for far too long! The noise are gathering! Had you stayed in the real ground they’d simply come to feed on your negative energy, but because you are in the underground and your negative emotions roll off in waves… Summon me immediately! Worry for your foolish good luck charms later!

She heard the voice of her scythe scolding her angrily. She summoned the enormous crimson blade immediately and got into a defensive stance, she could just leave the UG, sure, but what about the other people? What if the Noise started draining others because of her? What if Joshua got caught up in it because of her? What if Neku was dragged into the UG with Joshua to look for her, because what if Neku couldn’t see the goings on of the UG like she and Joshua could? She was not going to be at fault for either of them getting hurt, so she’d take care of this herself if need be!

{Some coffee to offer as a peace treaty, huh? Heh. That might do it as long as Josh is nice enough about it.}

{Neku puts a hand to his mouth thinking for a second. 104 and Lapin are close to each other, but Hachiko’s a bit closer to their current position, though not as much more than 104. It’d be faster to go there, then 104, then A-East where Lapin Angelique was. If they wanted they could even split up at the Scramble, with one checking out Hachi and the other 104 and Lapin. It’d be better if they were together though. He seemed to make up his mind as he coughs for a second and removes his hand from the thoughtful position.}

“We’ll check out Hachiko first. Let’s go.”

{He doesn’t wait for Joshua to say anything, knowing he was as ready as he’d ever be and that he’d follow along like they always used to do. When they reach the Scramble though, Neku seemed to had finally had a lightbulb fly off in his head. It actually made him feel a bit stupid not realizing until now, instead of when they were in the cafe.}

“…She’s in UG, right? I can’t see her right now if she is. There any way I can go around that without pissin’ off the HG?”

{At that moment though he could feel something in the air, since they were literally right near the entrance of Hachiko. Felt a bit draining. Like something was attaching itself onto peoples emotions. Don’t tell him… Noise?! Damn fantastic time to be in the RG, Neku!}

Joshua followed closely behind Neku and kept an eye out, to see if they'd spot Mia along the way. When Neku asked he simply smirked, he was wondering how long it'd take for him to figure it out. However before he could have the chance to answer him, something caught his eye, "Well, I was going to explain a loophole but no time, basically, give me your hand, I need to make you an illegal player! Aramia's been surrounded by Noise!"

Joshua didn't have time to wait for a confirmation or permission from Neku, he had to grab Neku's hand and give him some of his power, in addtion he then pulled a few pins from his pocket, "Here, we're in the UG now, I'm sorry for forcing you in but a certain idiot is in trouble." Joshua was quick to whip out his phone and start attacking some noise with falling junk.

“I’ve only heard about Inaba a little bit… like the murder incidents. Was a little interesting seeing as it’s so out in the hicks for something like that to happen. Looking into that stuff’s just not my cup of tea though…”

{Little did Neku know, he’d be much more into the reports if they knew about the shadows. But that sort of info just doesn’t reach someone like him often. The guy sitting in front of him tends to be his weird info source. Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme never talk about that stuff, they’re more concerned about things like Shiki’s new outfits or Beat and Rhymes comedy act. }

“It’s good. Of course it’d be, since it’s Sunshine. …What about yours?”

{He was munching on his second to last nugget in fact. Sunshine really knows their stuff.}

Joshua smirked slightly, the boy was also raised well by an alternate of himself. “Oh the murders? Mia talked to me about them once but all she told me about them was that there were 2 murders and several missing persons cases, she wouldn’t give me much else saying that I was annoying to deal with.” because you push too hard for information.

"The burger is fine but ah, you know me, I prefer Shio ramen. To be homest, I'm a little curious and would like to try Mia's homemade shio ramen, Sanae said she brought him some before and said it was delicious." that was something he had to admit, it gave him curiosity when hearing the girl was a good cook. "Sanae says she would make a good house wife, but more than anything, he says she wants to be a mother, not caring if she has to be a single parent, it's her biggest dream I suppose."

Crying? More like bawling quietly. She was rubbing her eyes trying to stop the tears, hell, trying to stop the memories that she forcefully swallowed and pushed away to avoid them ever interfering. “Stupid jerk…” She didn’t stay outside the shop for very long, while she was in the UG, she could traverse Shibuya without the emotions of the other citizens getting to her and bothering her. Even so, she found herself hopelessly lost, perhaps because she wasn’t really paying attention to where she was? Eventually though, she found herself in front a very familiar mural. Aramia sniffed and shook her head, she had to keep walking, she didn’t want to be found here because she was sure Hanekoma would tell them that she, like Neku, liked to hide out here if Wild Kat wasn’t an option.

She could go to Sunshine, but then Joshua would be able to find her because of how much she loved the nuggets. There was the Dogenzaka ramen shop… but what if Joshua wanted to take a break and eat there? She just wanted to be alone for a little bit… wait that’s it! 104! Neku hated being there because of the crowds and Joshua wouldn’t go there unless he planned to shop, plus they’d both know that she wouldn’t go there because of the amount of people, or at least, Neku would know that going there would give her a head ache unless she was in the underground. Joshua was and Idiot though and he probably wouldn’t be able to figure it out.

She rubbed her eyes and started to head on over to the shopping center, at least, while there were a lot of people, being in the UG made it so she couldn’t read them. She entered the shop, not carrying a pin should have made it so she wasn’t visible even to the shops available to those in the reaper game.

{Neku remains silent, not delving more into Hanekoma and Joshua’s talk, primarily because anything he would say would be just as uninformed as Joshua was in a lot of areas, and all his responses would be highly emotionally based. When Joshua glances at him his head perks up and he gives a slight grin at the composer, before his expression reverts back to it’s usual.}

“It’s fine man. I mean, yeah, that fight was shitty to watch but better to let it out and make up right? And you’re gonna do that.”

{His arms fold as he accepts Joshua’s request to help him find Mia. Yup, it’d probably, no, definitely, be better if they found her together instead of splitting up or Neku just plain bolting the scene. That would be the biggest douche move.}

“Yeah, we’d better find her quick. She might be avoiding areas that we’d know to find her in to avoid us, so any ideas where she’d absolutely hate to be in alone?”

{His first thought on where she’d be was the Cat mural, but that would be the first place he’d go, and honestly? If he was fighting with someone he’d avoid areas he could bump into them like the plague. They are awful alike after all.}

“Maybe somewhere like the scramble crossing, 104, or Hachiko? It’d give her a huge headache, but god knows I wouldn’t hang around those places unless I was forced to.”

“Hachiko. I remember that it was her favorite story and given that she believes in good luck charms she might rub Hachiko and pray for good luck... But someplace she'd hate to be alone? All he knew was that she could read someone's emotions rather easily. “I would think she'd be at the Sanae's mural, she finds art soothing and calming. And plus, why would she avoid you? It's understandable to try to avoid me, but why you unless she thought you were on my side?” He sighed.

“J, it's like you're listening but everything's going in one ear out the other; nothin's sinking in. He caught on already, Mia's a lot like Phones; even if it gave her a headache I think the desire to avoid you would be stronger and make her want hide in crowded places. Her ability to read emotions is what makes it hard to be around a bunch of people, gives her sensory overload if she's around too many people. She went into the UG too so, in a sense she probably is alone no matter where she is but still surrounded by people. J's got a good point though Phones, Mia does like Hachiko, but you’ve got point too. Scramble is out, too many people not really much to see. 104 and Hachiko though, the shops... Keep Lapin Angelique in mind, she loves that shop and said she loved one of the dresses.” Sanae couldn't help a laugh.

“Hah, she's got Phones' personality and J's taste in clothes, as well as his sass. But that aside, try checking Hachiko then 104 and then Lapin Angelique, if she's not in any of those spots, come back here to see if she cooled down.” Sanae then seemed to have an idea and turned on the machine once again to brew coffee.

Joshua sighed and reached into his pocket and pulled out money, he knew that look on Sanae's face. “How much is it going to be?”

“700 yen normally, but she's a regular, so 500. iced caramel macciato frappé, nice and icy and heavy with the caramel sauce. If she starts acting like a child just give her the drink. Coffee seems to calm her down.”

“Because she's an addict...” Joshua said with a sigh and a huff before paying and taking the... large cup? Why was he giving her a large cup... ah to calm the girl. “Alright then, where do you think we should go first Neku, Hachiko or 104?”

{A very confused Neku. He’d never heard of a Damien Grimrose, or a Shriogane Naoto, and not even some Sora and Riku crowd. The way Joshua mentioned the last two made him feel like he was supposed to know them, which made him all the more confused. What the hells a keyblade and why do people summon them? That sounds like the lamest weapon ever. Now a gunblade would be pretty cool if a person chose to have a blade with something else attached but…. why a key?}

“I don’t know any of those names you just said. Am I supposed to.”

He's become a well known detective just like Shirogane Naoto, the detective prince? You've really never heard of them? I guess you're still a recluse after all.” He chuckled softly.

“Ah but a keyblade is not something very easy to explain and it'd be better to show you so just wait until you meet Sora and Riku.” He didn't know how long it would take for him to meet them but at the very least once he did, it should clear this mess up. “All that aside, how is your meal?”

Joshua is just going to send this video to the others, simply because he can’t help but think of them because of it.

He may know more than the typical person, but when it came to the things Joshua had to deal with on a regular basis, Neku was like a newborn child in comparison.}

Neku stepped in and she smiled momentarily, she went as far as to smile at Neku, even give him a cheerful greeting, showing how happy she was to see the headphoned male. Her smile soon faded when what Joshua said had sunken in. “…” She was quiet for a moment, her anger stewing and quickly boiling over. “I hate you!” She was so angry she completely ignored Neku telling them to stop fighting, and started yelling right back at him. “You think my parents saw me as annoying?! What about you?! Your parents were so annoyed with you, you were pretty much ignored because of your freakish ability to see the underground! You parents thought you were crazy, especially since their son was seeing dead people!” She was shaking in anger.

"You think I’m a brat, but you were so lonely and desperate for a friend you shot that poor boy you’re so desperately protecting now! You shot him! You made him be a pawn for your little game and even after he did such a great job, you shot him again! Which resulted in my sister hating me and–!” She put her hand over her mouth and fought back the tears as best she could. She was sure that Hanekoma must have been sighing considering her knew the rest of the story. Her emotions were shot to all hell, and when ever her emotions fluctuated, her hair color changed to brown and her wolf ears and tail would appear.
