1) The first picture is one I was paid to do at my job as a part of volunteering. They paid me to color sheets for charity. These color sheets get included in packages with Trorp Packages and Meals on Wheels. The charity is called Color a Smile. I colored this page to look like my mother's Sun Conure who I am not a fan of. His name is Tyson and, yes, that's a known chicken nugget company and I told her that after she decided his name and she refuses to change it. I'm also not a fan cause he bites (anyone but her) and is noisy. But I thought she might like seeing me draw him.
2) Was on vacay recently and it was WONDERFUL! We vacation with like 40+ family members over 2 weeks and nearly every night we play games. This night I was showing online people who I play internet Uno that I was like....touching grass basically with Uno! I wish I could intro them into more intense rules like the 0-7 ones but I'm glad we're drawing to at least 2 (not to match) and stacking the +2s!
3) While in FLA, we went to Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center! This is what I chose as a souvenir cause it serves me with a function and a message, hahaha
4) The first fish I caught while Fly Fishing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! I was there for a cousin's wedding (see the next two posts about that too). We knew a year in advance about this wedding and I've never been one for the outdoors so I had no idea what I'd do on this trip.....but I do like fishing. So between my mother (mostly her) and I, we got the equipment and then she got me lessons and this was the first of 3 fish I caught alongside my cousin on a trip down the Snake River! It was amazing and I really did appreciate the nature. Saw 3 bald eagles, like 2 otter rivers, ducks, geese, obviously trout too...hahaha
5) This is my cousin and I. She got married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming at the end of June. It was a trip that took a year in the planning, not just for her but for my mom and I. That Florida trip I just mentioned? Only one week between it and the Wyoming trip!! And dear god, every doctor my mom visited in a YEAR had been to Jackson Hole, WY! This was not our sort of town!
We managed tho, cause that girl in that picture is my girl and was worth it and so much more.
6) This is the craft I made for the cousin in the #5 picture. Its in a white framed shadow box. The first heart map is her hometown. The third heart map is his hometown. The second heard map is where they got married, Jackson Hole, that was especially special to them. The ribbon down the middle was her wedding color. I have only done this craft for two other couples and will continue to only do it for certain friends.
