Not saying my theory is right but...👀

I’m like 99% sure that damian dies in Justice Dark Apokolips. The scene with Raven and Supes in the sneak peek plus the fact that he’s once again a major character really sets up something bad happening to him.

Here’s my theory:

The movie starts off with the first war against darkseid. This is the part where like everyone dies.

Robin is the only member of the batfamily left alive, so after losing his family along with the war, he loses faith in heroes and returns to the league of assassins.

Time passes and Constantine and Supes round up a group of magic users to try one last time.

Apparently they’ll need something from damian. Maybe it’s the lazurus pit or maybe it’s because he’s just a great fighter and they need that on the team.

They go to the LoA to convince him to join them. He’ll go with them because Raven is there (sigh) and we all know that romance will be like half of the movie (you lucky robrae shippers).

Anyways they end up fighting darkseid again and succeeding, but not with a cost. Trigon somehow gets loose too so that’s just more on their plate. More people die and damian is one of them. It’ll be really sad and tragic because Raven will be holding him in her arms or something like that. I’ll cry half out of sadness of my favorite character dying and half of glee and spite because if he’s dead then no more robrae.

Which leads to the scene with Raven trying to pierce her neck with that pointy thing and Superman stopping her. I think that something will prevent them from being able to use a lazurus pit to bring him back, hence the Romeo and Juliet type thing Raven tries to fulfill.

Overall, they’re going for that angsty bittersweet ending to end all, which I honestly think is a good direction to go. If you have a battle with darkseid and trigon then people will die.

if you don't believe how gross and unpopular his shit takes are, dc didn't allow him to do another tt movie no matter how much he wanted it (likely cause the movies flopped and people didn't like them outside of dickkory) and jld is basically his only way of living out his weird af highschool fantasy, and thems the facts.

Damian couldn’t breathe. His body felt frozen, his back burned with pain, and his chest was bruised from where the frost dragon had shoved it into stone. Everything ached from the fall to the ground, but what hurt most were Richard’s screams in his ears.

The guttural, heart wrenching, wail echoed in his head and bounced against the pain telling Damian he deserved it and more for letting Freeze take his brother. For failing. For being the weak link that kept Richard from running and forced him to stay and be captured.

There were voices shouting around him, and Damian didn’t want to get up, he wanted to curl in on himself and shut everything out until Richard’s voice stopped filling his head. He wanted to jump up and chase after them, to save his brother, to fix this terrible mistake.

Hands found him, turned him over off his back, and cradled his head. Damian blinked up at his father, face unreadable between the worry, fear, and fury. He was saying something but Damian couldn’t hear, his head awash again with Richard’s scream.

He shook his head, pulling from the hands, “He’s gone.” he choked, “He’s gone. Freeze took him, I could not stop him.”
