The Accidental Sister Squad
The afternoon sun shone brightly over a colorful city park where worlds had somehow become connected for one day.
The first to arrive was Emu Otori, who spun around with sparkling eyes.
Another cheerful voice answered from nearby.
Emu turned to see a tiny girl with bright pink hair tied into twin tails.
"You must be Haru Urara!"
Haru nodded enthusiastically before running over and hugging Emu without hesitation.
"You look so happy all the time!"
"So do you!" Emu giggled. "Let's be happy together forever!"
Within minutes, the two were chasing butterflies, making flower crowns, and laughing so loudly that everyone nearby couldn't help smiling.
"They're like sisters..." someone whispered.
"No," another replied. "They're like a mother-and-daughter duo who forgot who's supposed to be the grown-up."
A mechanical spider crawled across a bench.
Peni Parker adjusted her headset while checking her robot.
Suddenly, a girl in a red cloak landed beside her with impossible speed.
Ruby circled SP//dr with stars in her eyes.
"This is AWESOME! Does it fly? Does it punch monsters? Can I ride it? What's the top speed?"
"You ask a lot of questions."
Minutes later the pair were racing through the park—Ruby using her Semblance while Peni boosted SP//dr's thrusters.
Their friendly competition ended in a tie...
...mostly because they accidentally crossed the finish line at exactly the same time after crashing into a cotton candy stand.
Nearby, two girls with striking green hair stared at each other.
Both tilted their heads at exactly the same angle.
"We're not twins!" they shouted together.
"...Okay, that was suspicious," Ramona admitted.
"Maybe we're accidental twins."
The two burst into laughter.
By evening, the six girls gathered for a picnic.
Emu and Haru had collected enough flowers to decorate the entire blanket.
Ruby had challenged Peni to six different races.
Peni had secretly upgraded SP//dr to launch bubbles instead of missiles for the festival.
Gumi played cheerful music while Ramona quietly added guitar harmonies.
As the sun set, everyone smiled.
"To adventure!" Ruby cheered.
"To teamwork," Peni added.
"To weird coincidences," Ramona laughed.
"And..." Haru shouted at the top of her lungs.
The joyful shout echoed across the park, proving that even people from completely different worlds could become the best of friends in a single unforgettable day.
