Lillie’s muse kinda left for Kanto and forgot to take me with her which is why I haven’t really been here l-lol ;; I’m sorry weeps.

So her concern was well - placed , though of course he didn’t think of it as a problem or even anything but what he would do instinctively , throwing himself into harm’s way to make sure his ‘ sister ‘ was safe.

He reached over && tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as if to show that touching her was something he couldn’t be less afraid of.

&& besides … if i’d want to be hurt by anyone … the person i’d choose would be you.
There’s a delicate balance she has to keep in her interactions; stay distant enough to avoid causing harm while remaining close enough to show her wish for interaction. Hands curl close to her chest, head down and teeth pressing into her lip to avoid letting any more tears hit the ground.
“ Y - You don’t know that, Gladion! I... I know you; you’re brave and strong and... lots of other good things,but you’re reckless too! There’s no guarantee you w - won’t be hurt in some way and... ”
One hand almost raises to smack his arm when it approaches, stopping with only a hand that barely raises past her hip. She wouldn’t strike him, not even during such a moment that feels almost threatening (to his own safety).
“ I do, but... I’m not going to be able to grow like that. Never, not in a million years will I be strong enough to... to be like them, ” Lillie answers, tone soft and voice barely audible from the way she bows her head further to avoid any sort of eye contact. “ I - I’m not like you and... I doubt I ever can be. ”

She says this all with a SOFT smile upon her skin, seeing as explaining narcolepsy to a stranger wasn’t quite appropriate for conversation. Erika would much rather play it off as just being affected by the SPORES that grass-type pokemon give off.
At least she was taking it well. Maybe this is the kind of incident that happens to her often? Why would that be though? Does she have honey hiding in the folds of her outfit? Nectar in her headband?
“ ... Miss, are there grass-types around here that put sleeping powder on strangers? If there are, that’s a little dangerous-- maybe some repels would help you? ”

normal activity should resume soon tho im officially done w/ schoolwork for a month and i won’t be getting many hours @ work bc winter happened so uh

She was sleeping? Considering the setting, Lillie’s more impressed than anything. Fingers twiddle together, looking away before forcing herself to refocus on the woman before her.
“ A - Are you okay though? Most people don’t fall asleep in public like this, I think-- ”

“ Maybe... at one point I did. I thought she was beautiful inside and out and... that’s why I wanted to stay in the first place.
Now though... I - I guess I can’t say that anymore. She’s still my... my m - mother, but ‘beautiful’ doesn’t fit anymore.
She’s tainted and... I can’t help but feel like that’s m - my fault.

Lurantis:
Oh gosh, there she goes, backing away again with fear aplenty in her eyes. The expression on her face actually made her feel bad for enjoying her fright, and the way she was backing up was not different to that of a frightened animal. Maybe Seer should try to do something that’ll help loosen her up a bit? To show her that she means no harm? A curious noise was made before the Lurantis reached into a small, makeshift pouch on her hip and pulled free a sweet Oran berry.
She looked over the berry quickly before glancing back to the girl, and extended the fruit out to her, offeringly. The Lurantis stayed in the position she was currently in, antennae twitching and shifting as she observed her movements closely.
She’d speak to the girl herself, but she was already so frightened that attempting to do so may spook the life right out of her. So, to try to remain as innocent and ‘friendly’ as possible, she continued speaking in her natural tongue.
“ Lurrr…? “
This was it, this was her final stand. Someone was going to find her unconscious in the forest and the shame of a Lurantis (a peaceful Pokemon to most people probably) putting her into that state would be unbearable. Goodness though, why was this one so big? It was practically as tall as she was! All of her research hadn’t shown her a Lurantis this size before and, honestly, she wasn’t even sure if Kukui had seen this one before.
Lillie blinked as it reached into the pouch, wary of what was coming next. When the only thing that came out was a berry, confusion set in. Was this a peace offering of sorts? Was the Pokemon apologizing for the scare or was it trying to comfort her?
Cautious as ever, the child swallowed and shifted around. One hand went towards the gift, shaking despite the obvious attempts to quell it. Fingers came around the berry before she quickly pulled back, food close to her chest. Gaze came up to meet the other’s silent, yet more calmed than before.
“ T... Thank you. ”
