why do u put ur own url over other people's art when u use it as icons... that's stealing yknow

If you bothered to read my rules on any of my (million) blogs you’d know right off the bad that I do not claim ANY of the art used in my icons. The art belongs to their respective owners. Note that not every artist feels the same way about people using their art for things like icons, avatars and backgrounds.
If an artist requests that they want a certain icon or icon(s) removed under their own request? Then they are more than free to contact me to do that. I will gladly take them down to suit their request.
But, as you can tell, I like having icons. I like having art to represent my muse.
This goes for every other blog I have as well.
Just because I have a certain border/frame/look to my icons, even if it is just my URL, that does not mean it’s stealing. I like the look of the icons as opposed to plain looking crops. I call this, The Aesthetic™
So, to sum up, get off your high horse and stop talking for other people? If an artist wants an icon removed, then they can request it to me themselves. Otherwise, I don’t think using art on a roleplaying blog is going to hurt anyone.
I’m just here to have fun. And if you’re not having fun just because of the look of my icons, then I hope you’ve either unfollowed me within the two months since you’ve sent this, or left the fandom altogether.
Because, let’s be real.
There’s a LOT of art used here in the Pokemon RPC that belongs to other people. And there’s also a LOT of roleplayers that have their own unique icon .PSD’s for their icons.
