A couple of days ago I had a moment of clarity where my neurons synapsed, bringing together my favorite comic book series with my favorite band, and well, this edit is the result. It simply seemed to me that Drag Path perfectly captures what Tintin in Tibet would be in its most literal sense.

I just hope that Peter Jackson won't ruin Professor Calculus's character and design since the Tintin film is in work under Peter Jackson, just like Ivan Sakharine who was a fellow Russian side character, who had no freaking clue about the Unicorn's history then suddenly he became the final boss who wants to k!ll Tintin and Haddock. I deeply hope that Calculus won't face such script and story change where he is a goofy ahh doctor/ surgeon. We want our G.O.A.T to shine the show soon 🥂

The two side of Tintin fandom and their current situation be like:

It might be very shameful to say that me, as a head over heels Tintin fan, my first impression was the 2011 film later I learned about the original comic then series. I actually fell in love with the villain when I was just a 10 yo kid, looking at the screen and imagining, "Yeah thanks for giving me daddy issues at very early age" and that's what made me watch Tintin again and again.

As for the sequel announcement, I hope Peter Jackson won't break our hope this time and I'm really excited to see more comic characters to show up like Zorrino, Chang, Prof. Calculus etc but nobody can excite me much to see the cuntiest villain showing up *Blushes*

“A very Chinese time in my life”

I have noticed the recent trend of some westerners cosplaying “Chinese” by “drinking hot water” or “taking of shoes”, a practice which I dubbed “you found a in a very r@cist time in my life.” I’m genuinely pissed about reducing being Chinese into such random practices based on stereotypes, and it’s even more annoying that a YouTuber called Taylor Lorenz was trying to gaslight people into believing this is genuine appreciation while every single sentence exposes she has no idea about what it feels like to be Chinese. These ppl want to be Chinese but they can opt out at any second while actual Chinese can’t. Where were these people on TikTok just a few years ago when COVID made China an international target? Again CHINA ISN’T A SYMBOL YOU CAN PROJECT ON WHEN YOU ARE DISILLUSIONED WITH YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT. CHINA IS A REAL COUNTRY. CHINESE ARE REAL PEOPLE. Our medical resources isn’t for first world white people to exploit when our medial system still aren’t serving enough of our own citizens.

If you actual to be close to Chinese-ness, just look at Tintin, by actually supporting real Chinese people and causes that improve our lives. I don’t even mind indifference, but if you are being weird appropriating things and ripping favors from Chinese who has so long been used to considered “uninteresting” and “uncool” that even your fetishization makes them gratified. You are 🤮 .

If you are reading this from my reblog, I want to say as a southeast asian, I also receive a lot of r@cism and hates. People mostly westerns always mix Indians and Bengals in one frame and call us trash insects. Therefore, I stopped caring about what the world feels or sees about us. I'm just a digital artist who loves comics, movies etc. That's why I'm working on doing a small comic version of Tintin by representing my country truthfully

Finally I made some Tinchang,but it’s a lesbo! I also wanted to improvise my background and voila! A retro background with the perfect pose that Tchang uses!
