so I'm still fighting with google docs but here are the upcoming new additions to the roster:

Charles W Reed from The Sinking City:

and Quentin Coldwater from The Magicians:

both are going to go under the Humans roster; Charles is a Navy diver turned PI from Boston who served in the Great War. Quentin is a magically gifted young adult who attends a magical college, Brakebills University.

Charles W. Reed, born 1894, is a blunt and no-nonsense private investigator located out of Boston. Before becoming a PI, Charles served in the Great War as a Naval diver, witnessing mass carnage aboard a ship he was stationed on in the beginning half of 1918. The ship was hit by a bomb, and the crew suffered mass casualties, including giving Charles shrapnel scars across his face and upper torso, prominently along the right side of his cheek and eye.

After being rescued, he transferred to another ship that was out of combat, the USS Cyclops. The Cyclops worked as a cargo transporter, and Charles was more than content with the change, until a shipment of manganese ore began to drive everyone insane, many speaking of strange dreams involving underwater ruins and sunken cities with bizarre carvings, unearthly creatures hidden between the buildings.

Charles suffered from these dreams and visions, but kept it to himself. The Cyclops was eventually destroyed by some supernatural creature that Charles can't explain, and he wakes up stranded on an island, only to be rescued and declared half mad. He spends a short time in an asylum before being released, and decides to become a detective, finding himself investigating the visions and dreams he's plagued by when people from all around Massachusetts disappear after reporting the same dreams and visions.

Quentin Coldwater is a 23 year old Columbia University graduate, magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in literature, with an insatiable love for a children's magical fantasy series, Fillory and Further. It inspired him to learn sleight of hand and card tricks as a child, which he still performs, and has always clung desperately to this childish interest to help dispel the unfortunate mundane life he truly leads.

Clinically depressed and severely mentally unwell, Quentin has always been unhappy with his role in life, and with the world as it is in general. He longs for an escape to a world like Fillory, and as such it sets him back from advancing in his adult life as he should be. It's only when he attends a staged Yale interview that sets him on the path to Brakebills University that he discovers magic is indeed real, and he is a very gifted Magician.

Over the course of the next four years, Quentin's life changes dramatically, and he begins to find more purpose with knowing he is a Magician, but continues to struggle with his place in the world, feeling that the revealed existence of magic hasn't truly changed him from being the shitty waste of life he sees himself as.

I forgot to mention that Charles has a sixth sense that he developed after the Cyclops sank and it's absolutely tied to the visions and dreams he has, he's a "Chosen Seed" who can choose to unleash or keep imprisoned cthulhu's secret daughter cthylla

the thing is that if he uses that sense, his sanity goes down slowly, and certain things make his sanity lower faster to where he starts to hallucinate and even goes to shoot himself
