Where had he seen that? This ‘boop’ he couldn’t get off his mind. It was associated in humans with one particular gesture–one that seemed to be in relation to adoration, and affection. The deity wanted to–he needed to–HE HAD TO. And all the while, he’d been watching and listening to the brunette, before carefully, and casually–with an index claw poised just so–placed an affectionate BOOP ~ on the snoot–followed by delightful purring. ^ω^

It had been business as usual, before any of the others had been summoned. Only the Hogyoku and himself in the room as Aizen calmly listed off the agenda for the day. This had become a ritual of sorts, mostly for the entity’s input and any possible adjustments or suggestions. He had paused for a moment to pick up his tea and have a small sip. Though before he could even lift the cup to his lips, there was a gentle pressure to the very tip of his nose. This caused him to completely stop what he was doing. blinking a few times as he gradually set the cup back to it’s saucer. Turning his head slowly as he then focused on the Hogyoku.

The sounds of purring signifying that he was quite proud of himself for that gesture. Could it be from that curiosity which drove him to do so? There was no real purpose otherwise. The sort of actions that the Hogyoku would enact only if they were alone, as Aizen would prefer. Perhaps it was to break up the monotony of the atmosphere. Has he fallen to that sort of dull routine?

A few moments of this silence passed as his thoughts then collected again. Letting out a soft chuckle, his expression matching the light tone. “I take it that is a cue to say you’re done with today’s agenda review?”

kisuke's whole ideology that he has show in the end of the deicide arc and in the thousand year blood war, (hiyori also hinted at him being the same as her captain) is that everything must be done to keep the soul society stable. "for the sake of the seireitei" as he puts it. he shows us that he's willing to sacrifice even his closest friend yoruichi and his student, ichigo. (now its up to debate whether he only said that bc of his complete trust in them but.. lol)

on the other hand we have aizen, who has never done anything for anybody else except himself, until the thousand year blood war, where he sacrificed an arm and a whole through his body, just so that ichigo can defeat yhwach.

i wonder if kisuke would be proud that aizen is finally doing something for the sake of saving the soul society he sought to rule lolol

⸻ In no way does he impede her advance upon him, welcoming her onto his lap by enveloping an arm around her midsection, whilst allowing her to take his other hand within her own. Just as he's settling into the pleasure of her returned presence, though, she bites him--causing his attention to snap down to stare at her face, with a look of his own comprehension appearing modestly delayed.

⸻ Eventually, though, the stinging pain from her bite reaches a peak that his vessel's reflexes spontaneously fail to ignore. His mouth partly drops open unexpectedly, but his expression just as quickly attempts to deadpan in an effort to suppress the eventual blush that surfaces on the high-points of his cheekbones, and then makes his eyes widen again in observation. ⸻ Suddenly, his curiosity seems cued. ⸻ "A-ahhh--question... am I tasty?"
