What are these creatures? They're male Asian dwarf mudskippers, showing off their vibrant colors during the breeding season. Weird and wonderful, right?
The Brush tit (Callithrix jacchus), more commonly known as a marmoset, a small New World monkey native to Brazil. Adults weigh between 182â354 grams (6â12 ounces) and are diurnal and arboreal, spending most of their time in trees.
In English, this species, the tiniest species of monkey in the world, is most commonly called the pygmy marmoset. ïżŒ

Rex is believed to have been the dog of John E. Stow, one of the cityâs longest-practicing fruit merchants until his death in 1884. For years, people have gathered sticks and fallen branches to place at the loyal dogâs resting place. Situated under a tree with plenty of sticks around, visitors often leave a stick across Rexâs paws as a tribute. Someone even left a picture of their own dog there, perhaps a beloved pet who had passed away, as if to say, âRex, look after my little one.â
