This was originally meant for June’s theme over at 15 folds, but real life got in the way in a truly spectacular fashion and it just didn’t happen in time. Thanks for inviting me anyway, Amy!

I discovered “Avatar the last Airbender” very late, and finally watched it for the first time 2 months ago.
What a Fucking. Great. Show. Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko : Thank you for existing.
So I animated Aang and Katara, dance-bending (inspired from the episode “The Headband”)
Because they make a great team together.
Too cute!
Full sized version of this Raven gif I did for cartoonnetwork
keep trying, lil froggy. i believe in u.
I’ve been posting these froggy gifs over on my twitter & I’m having a lot of fun with ‘em, so consider this part 1 of ???
Two scenes I animated from this film Joe Bennett and I made last year.
One year ago today I took a pretty nasty spill on my motorcycle, and broke several bones on the left side of my body. Today I’m happy, healthy, and I get to spend most days chasing my children out of my home office so I can draw funny pictures. I feel very blessed.
It’s taken a lot of work since then to get back into walking- and then running-shape. I’ve had a lot of help and encouragement from friends and family, especially my wife and children.
The other day I was out for a run when somebody in a car drove by and made fun of my stride (which still looks a little funny). It just reminded me about how easy it is to be unkind to someone you don’t know everything about. Those kids didn’t know that as recently as 6 months ago I couldn’t even walk. I like to think that if they had known they would have been more supportive.
Remember to be kind. Remember to be grateful. And perhaps most importantly, remember not to crash your motorcycle. But even if you do, get up, dust your self off and run as best you can. Even if you look funny.
I’m working on something cute (it has nothing to do with this dog).
“8am” in my Square Street Study series.
Another Gif from the New York Times piece I just finished https://vimeo.com/124763659
I really don’t have a good handle on technical things like construction and form, so at cases like these I do have to do a couple of tie down passes to understand the structure of the character. Still makes my head spin. I wish I could just draw form at the initial tie down.
a thing i made for a 2D perspective assignment
Voici un montage de scènes en cours de création pour le film “Le sommet bleu”.
