🇬🇧 It was 1988 when Akira premiered in Japan. Directed by Katsuhiro Ōtomo, this absolute piece of art was inspired by the namesake manga. It was created with 160.000 draws, 2.212 shots and 327 different colors. Also, between 30 and 50 new tones were created for the movie.

This video is presented as a tribute to one of my favorite animated movies of all time! I finished it in one and a half months, approximately, and it has 101 frames and 10100 color samples. Everything was made following the process of traditional animation

🇲🇽 Fue en 1988 cuando Akira se estrenó en Japón. Dirigida por Katsuhiro Ōtomo, esta obra de arte absoluta fue inspirada por el manga homónimo. Fue creada a partir de 160.000 dibujos, 2.212 planos y 327 colores diferentes. Además, entre 30 y 50 nuevos tonos fueron creados para la película.

Presento este video como un tributo a una de mis películas favoritas de todos los tiempos. Lo hice en aproximadamente un mes y medio con 101 fotogramas y 10100 muestras de color. Seguí el proceso tradicional de animación.
