One thing that bugs me about drafting the second set in a block is that it's usually 2 boosters from Set 1 and 1 from Set 2. Given that we'll have just spent months drafting only Set 1, is there more of a chance that we'll get to draft 2 or 3 boosters of Set 2 with the new structure?

If you all had your way, when the second set comes out, what would you rather draft with?

a) two packs from the first set and one from the small set or

b) one pack from the large set and two packs from the small set

During the SuperBowl, the Coca-Cola Company aired a commercial to promote their brand as every other mega corporation who has a few million dollars to blow on a 30 to 60 seconds of television airtime. It was a nice commercial titled “It’s Beautiful” in which American people did American things.

God I feel sorry for Kojou xD. I mean with 3 girls who all like him, and all have tempers?? Poor guy. But let's see, where to begin. Nice shake up on the predicted formula, Kujou needing blood from two girls for familiar #3 was not expected, although I sense a purposefully naughty sense of humor, if all the threesome jokes on crunchyroll mean anything. I don't have much to say aside from the fact that I love this episode! Seeing Yukina engage in a barehanded ass kicking was quite entertaining. I enjoy those characters aren't normally that impressive, but then you are suddenly reminded that they're awesome. To quote spike: "I love the kinda woman that can kick my ass" Noticed that all three main villains so far have been old men with twisted senses of morality, not sure if that's a purposeful trend? but it needs to be mixed up a bit. Like the new familiar. I can always dig a dragon. Nice explanation on how they were able to defeat an semi-ascended being. Still felt a little dues ex, but oh well! This ep would earn a nine, but the music elevates it to a ten for sure. Using the OP for the battle music was a lot of fun, same with hearing the full ED ( I like that song a lot). Also liked the re-mention of the fake holy sword. I thought it was just random world building when I first encountered it at the beginning of the arc but it was a nice touch to explain it early like that. 10/10 and if i can get up in time, log horizon coming tomorrow morning bright and early!

Strike the blood review 10-11

This show impresses me because of two reasons. The dialogue and how it uses so many tropes so well. The dialogue is excellent. especially in these two episodes. Nothing in the writing feels forced. For example, Himeragi catching Kujou "peeping" on the island. Aside from the "unwitting pervert" thing Kujou just can't shake (poor guy xD), instead of spending the rest of the episode being pointlessly angry, like in a harem rom-com, she stays consistent with her character by believing Kujou isn't a liar. Maybe I'm full of crap, but there's a natural quality to the dialogue I really appreciate. I also like the romantic progression. I still don't think Yukina has the win locked up yet, but the romantic trusting moments come slowly and spread out, instead of being broadcast for several episodes or being all "romance motherf*cker" out of left field. The sunset, the hands, the anger, nothing feels overly overstated to me, which I appreciate. This show combines its tropes so nothing ever feels too overdone or predictable. Down to the action, I'm enjoying it immensely, and the explanation for Kanon's op-ness is mostly justified, except the alternate dimension bit. Needs more explanation. This episode makes me eager for later episodes, when all of team Kujou is fighting on the same page. Jury's out on the new girl, I just sense the approach of some "thinks she knows about japan but really doesn't" moments. One last thing i was not expecting. that gore moment with the two angels fighting. WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS SHOW'S RATING. Well, see you next week all. Gonna post log Horizon later and i think ill start more on tokyo ravens (love the op by the way)

Consoles are better (FOR ME, OPINION!!!)

I think consoles have an edge on PCs that makes them preferable to me, and that computers will never beat. No matter what game it is or when it comes out, I can feel completely safe in the knowledge that if my hard drive is fried, my games still exist on disks, and in the fact that I know, beyond a doubt, that if I buy a legal game for my console, it will work and thoughts of RAM and clock speed and heat and settings will never have to enter my head. ever (unless it's an EA or Bethesda game, then I may have cause for concern ;) ) thank you for your consideration.
