There's also a sign for Dom Tom Burger, a parody of Dom Dom Burger, and Yonteore Burger ヨテオレバーガー which is a parody of Santa Ole/Santeore, san=three, yon=four, get it? There's also signs for Yokaton Hamburger よかとんハンバーガー and Love Burger but I don't know what those would be parodies of.

Lotterio (ロッテリオ), a parody of the Japanese fast food chain restaurant Lotteria, barely appears in the background in Death Note (2006) episode 5, it's not the focus, no one goes there, and it's next door to a coffee shop called Prop that has a burger sign too.

Light Yagami should have made it his base and killed people while eating burgers and french fries, that's what I'd do.

Yatteria, a parody of Japanese fast food burger chain Lotteria, appears in Kimagure Orange Road (1987) episode 30. The name could be a play on Yatta (I did it!), kind of like how WcDonald's comes from waku waku (excitement).

They actually go to the restarant and work there in the manga but that doesn't happen in the anime.

Though they actually mention McDonald's earlier on too.

Doesn't look that good but the show wasn't made in HD, it's a fine replacement for the DVD.

Unnamed burger joint in Serial Experiments Lain (1998) episode 5. It has a B logo so I really wanna call it BcDonald's but it could also just stand for Burger. The uniform does look like the early '90s McDonald's crew uniform though, so that's one point for BcDonald's as far as I care.

Merry Christmas! A McDonald's clone appears in Satoshi Kon's Christmas masterpiece Tokyo Godfathers (2003) for a few seconds.

Based on the sign on the top right which includes the McDonald's font, and the golden arches turned into two Ds, I kinda wanna say this is DadDonald's? Is that crazy? It makes sense to me considering the themes of the movie.

MoDS BonRGE’s is styled like McDonald's but the name is more a parody of MOS Burger which is Japan's answer to McDonald's. I can't even tell what the name is a pun on, maybe it's an inside joke, or maybe some crazy portmanteau of the names MOS Burger and McDonald's?
