Another one of LutexAbel! It's apparently a rare ship, but in my humble opinion it shouldn't be that rare; they are both delulu, share a deep loss and would complement each other! Not saying there is no toxicity and super weird stuff potential too; they need lots of therapy and weapon COF confiscation COF but come on, at least let them friends Viv TT_TT Lute needs a good friend! And Abel needs courage without the pressure of doom D:

I had previously uploaded the base but I decided to make some changes so I took it down and posted it changed. And yeah I used a reference from pinterest, but copied, not traced, like a good citizen! And absolutely no ai lol
They went to 7/11 for midnight slushies and cheetos! Life (or afterlife in Abel's case) can be chaotic and fall apart, like the guy that made chocolate pudding at 3am!

I guess it's because I love both characters on their own too. And can also see them as potential friends + appreciate the current canon dynamic too. I tried out 2 styles, one with my usual kind of pallette and style and another somewhat goth-ish.
I wish the author doesn't forget these characters exist next season!
Just a normal mission in Heaven! A mailbox was staring at residents, and it was freaking them out.
The army is the most similar thing to the police they have up there, so commander Abel and Lute showed up to uhhh see what's up!
Their methods aren't always aligned, nor orthodox but I guess the issue was... kinda resolved? Yeah I supposed no Heaven citizen should be harmed, oh well! Yeah.
Something similar happens in my AbelxLute fanfic which I'm still failing to upload, but at some point will.
Question, does acab apply to Abel? It def does to Lute hahaha I love her but it does

i use procreate, but this should work with any art program that has alpha lock and multiply layers.
risograph is a printmaking technique created by printing multiple thin layers of brightly colored ink on paper. to replicate this, i recommend using brushes that layer well and have a lot of grain. i usually use the 6B pencil and gloaming brush.
Choosing Colors:
risograph printers usually only have a small selection of colors, so choose 2-4 colors that you enjoy. you can color pick these from swatches given by actual risograph printing websites, or you can make your own
to test your color swatches:
1. create one layer per color. set each of these layers to multiply
2. draw overlapping circles to see how the colors interact. play around with hue, value, and saturation until you’re happy
3. save this as a color reference for later
here’s a graphic i made of how common risograph ink colors layer, you can use this for reference too :)
Lineart:
make sure your lineart is on one layer
set that layer to alpha lock and color it all white
duplicate this layer once for each color you’re using (i use 3 colors, so i have 3 layers).
- it’s helpful to name your layers something like “[color] lineart”
alpha lock each layer and set them all to multiply (see first image below)
using only one color per layer, paint over your lineart. it can be a bit hard to see so i recommend using a low opacity brush to lightly wash over everything (see the first gif below)
add color until you’re happy! use your color reference from earlier to see how the colors will interact. don’t worry about being a bit messy, it’s free texture.
Actual Coloring:
make a new layer under your lineart. using the lasso tool, select your drawing and fill it in with white.
- this step is technically optional, but i highly recommend using it if you plan on using anything but a white background
to start, create one multiply layer per color and name them (see the first image below)
start coloring!
- you can use as many layers as you want, but make sure they’re all set to multiply and only use one color per layer. remember to name them to avoid confusion
- keep your color reference nearby to see how to mix different colors
- play around with layering different colors to change hue, saturation, and value. also play around with using different opacities on your brush
- the lasso tool can be used to color specific areas without overlap, but again, don’t be afraid of being a bit messy! (see the first gif below)
at this point, just have fun playing around with it until you make something you enjoy!
