Christmas headcannons
as the human Homura Akemi, the "four" year old witch always had wonderful Christmases with a big tree and lots of presents and candies! she doesn't have too many Christmas memories: after all, mentally she's only 4, and she just barely remembers her last one
of course, now, she can't find her parents anywhere...
"Whenever you want, dear missy. It would certainly be a pleasure." Until I get the courage to kill you, she omitted.
"How about tomorrow? Or the day after that?" she asked, smiling up at her.
Mariko stumbled upon a witch's barrier. She had her swords drawn, prepared for the worst. Whoever the witch was here, she knew what she had to do. Take it out before it harmed anyone else.
It was a fun day in Homulilly’s barrier!
It was one of those days where all Homulilly did was play all day, since witches didn’t have to go to school. She had already played a lot of hide and seek: so now, she was playing in the park.
Duplox blocks where everywhere: boxes and boxes of them. Homulilly kept building towers out of them, stacking as high up as she could, with her familiars helping her. In fact, so distracted was she, neither she nor even the Clara Dolls noticed the intruder. Despite being 5’2 and having the voice of a teen, she was a carefree as a child, laughing and giggling as she knocked her own towers down.
"I’m a weird witch." She admitted, still smiling at the girl in front of her. "I’m the witch of defiance for a reason after all."
"Super duper weird..." she said to her house. "Why you here, though? I don't remember why you showed up..."

They Who Defied Fate
Marie clenched her Soul Gem, rising to her feet the moment she felt capable. Already, she felt the thirteen pairs of eyes peering down at her.
Wherever this place was, it was far beyond the touch of hope. Yet, she was not completely ready to give up. If she did, here, she would never make it out alive. Raising her Soul Gem to the air, she transformed into her battle dress. The rain seemed to gather in a puddle beneath her feet, coating her boots in silver and rising in a thick mist. She cast one look at each of the Clara Dolls, her expression inviting them to come at her.
The Clara Dolls seemed ready to attack, raising their staffs and-
"Stop."
They looked around, confused.
"I order you to stop."
Staring down Marie from the end of the street was the Nutcracker Witch herself, walking towards her: not even her hat was summoned.
"I am the mistress of this barrier," she told her, still advancing. "Your battle will be with me."

{♬} “That sounds like a pretty good start,” Oktavia replied after a moment of thought. “We can head off there first, but if you start to really not feel well, we’ll leave, okay?” She elected to take the younger’s hand, holding it gently in her metal grip. “Alright, your barrier. You lead.” {♬}
"OK, Oktava-san," she said, smiling as she took the 'older' witch's hand, laughing as she lead her through the city. It was a large city, but one that Homulilly knew off the top of her hand.
And, before long, they stood outside of what was undeniably Madoka's old house.
Homulilly was shaking.
"... C-can you check it for me?" she asked, hiding behind her. "S... something about this places makes me feel not OK..."
⊰ ♣ ⊱ “Interessant! Interessant! Oh so very interesting..!” The female spoke, her voice loud and booming——full of life. ”Thy seems to know me, yet I cannot place whom you are.. Hah! I kid, thou are Akemi Homura, correct? I assume that thy hates me, like the many versions of you…! But to call me a devil is pushing it, no? I have not come here to ‘abosrb’ thy as thou put it, for I do not understand what thy means by this..!I was trapped in here by complete accident, after I had blacked out.. …Perhaps I should stop doing such acts..”
She clenched her fist so hard she actually broke off part of her throne.
"I am Homulilly, Witch of Nutcrackers!" she snapped, glaring down the witch. This was the personality of the witch that had caused her so much trouble and grief in all her timelines? What a joke!
"This is my witch's barrier, of which you are trespassing in, Walpurgisnacht. And, yes. You can say I'm not... particularly fond of you."
... Then again though.
When would she get another chance to kill the Strage-Consructing Witch...?
"Of course, you don't have to leave quite yet..."

{水} — “Stop it. Don’t touch me. It feels like someone threw a refrigerator at me.” She couldn’t blame them for being bumped into her. If anything, it was idiot devil who cursed her with this hyper-sensitivity. Even walking has become a chore for her.
"... Apologies," the Witch of Nutcrackers said as she looked at who she had bumped into. Another timeline, another search to finally find a version of Madoka who could grant her the death she was thinking of...
She didn't expect to bump into Sayaka this quickly, though.

They Who Defied Fate

All that was left of the plane was a fireball that hurtled like a meteor toward the witch’s barrier. Fortunately, those inside were spared contact with the barrier - they would die before they reached it.
All except one. She continued falling through the burning cityscape, her presence ever so slighty shifting the webs of the false city. A strange silver rain fell from the sky along with her, while cracks of lightning spread slivers of the feeling of fear in the barrier’s air. When she at last hit the ground, she could only stare up at the burning sky as her soul gem darkened away its bands of color.
Where was the Law of Cycles? What was this unholy place?
"Wo ist eine lange Nadel? "Wo ist eine kurze Nadel?
"Auf Widersehen des noch sind da!"
The Clara Dolls sung from the rooftops for their queen, as expected.
Homulilly frowned as she saw rain disrupting the burning fire of her barrier.
She got up, beginning to make her way to her intruder. While the witch had yet to arrive, the Clara Dolls made themselves visible, Marie able to see them staring down at her from the rooftops.
Wally did not know how she came into such a peculiar barrier, in fact she passed out a few moments ago and ended up here…It was a bit terrifying, really.
She should stop blacking out. ”Geia sas!Geia sas! Hello! Hello!” she bowed, somewhat deeply. Straightening up, the Fool tilted her head with a cheeky smile. ”Only if thou wish to curse those of innocent lives.” She responded, hands behind her back. "Of course, if not then that is fair——due to it seems you have some intellectual value. " Soon enough, her head straightened up as well, and she faced the other with a brave smile. ”Or would thy like to tell me I’m wrong?”
Walpurgis Night?

"What do you want, Walpurgisnacht?" she asked, glaring at her direction. "Did you come here to absorb me to become part of you, you devil?"
"You mean those white cat things that make people magical girls? Who then fall into despair and become witches? I’m friends with a few witches so I know about them. But I was forced into this world by humans… Humans who wanted an energy source…"

{♬} Oktavia exhaled in relief, immediately stopping her nervous actions. “Alright, alright, thank you, Homulilly-chan…” She looked around the barrier for any hint of bright colors; and, search fruitless, turned back to the young witch. “Let’s get started, then! What direction do you think we should head in?” {♬}
"IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII..."
"... Have no idea..." she admitted. "That's why I can never find her! I feel like I can't ever find her!"
She bit on her lip, trying to think of places.
"... O... Oh..."
She frowned.
"There's... one place. I don't like going there though, it makes me feel weird... I-I can show you it, though!"
"Good game indeed,little miss. You played nice too." Well…this was getting pretty … awkawrd. To kill the witch or to not to? Maybe, she will just be nice for once and let her live…she had fun too,afterall…
"We should play together another time, you know? This was really funny!"
"Yaaay~!" she replied, clapping her hands. "When can we play next? Homulilly wants to play again soon!"
Noraeash smiled. “What’s the harm in a little… SPARRING match?” He revealed his wings, which were blue in color.
Her eyes narrowed. She was going to take out her usual weapons, her two glocks: but at the sight of the wings, she opted for something that could hit just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle harder.

She narrowed her eyes, staring down the other, waiting for him to make the first move.

"A lot of witches have human names." She giggled. "Gertrud, Patricia, Charlotte, they’re all human names too."
Mariko didn’t seem too offended. If anything, she took it relatively well.
"But not Japanese names! They're usually German or English! Or... part of your real name, then something else! Charlotte's human name was Momoe Nagisa..."
