I didn’t have much stitchy time this year. But here’s my latest finish and actual first (and probably last) FFO for 2019:

This is going to be a Christmas present for my grandma.
I’m the queen of off-season stitching 😅
I started the Spring piece back at Christmas and finished it sometime in January. Summer and Autumn came next and now I’m finished with Winter. Right in the middle of summer.

Seems like I forgot to post the fall piece. Well, better late than never.

Ain’t he stinkin cute? 🐰🐣
Freebie from Crossstitch Crazy magazine.
I’m well ahead of the calendar. Spring will only be here in 3 1/2 weeks but I’m already done with summer. Going to do the autumn piece next. So maybe I’ll work on the (very christmassy) winter piece in the middle of summer. 😅

I can’t believe that it’s done already. Only started it on Christmas Day. But working on it was really nice and fun. Now on to Summer.
It’s a finish!!
A few months late but my Bands of Variation SAL is done and dusted. … Well, maybe not dusted yet as it still needs a good wash and ironing. 😅
It’s a finish😍 Been working on this piece over the last 12 months. Feels good to be done but I’m also feeling a bit empty right now. Pattern is the calendar sal by Dureen Jones. I did some adjustments to the March figure and translated all the months to German. Stitched on 18ct opalescent white Aida with DMC threads.
Hello July, hello Mr. Fox 🦊 This is the last part of my calendar sal by Durene Jones. Will post the full pic once it’s washed and ironed.
Hello Mr Tortoise and his little ones. 🐢 That’s the June installment of the calendar sal done. Only one more month to go before reaching the finish line.
Part 9 of the BOV sal by Lakeside Needlecraft. This is a cross between the cat and dog version as I couldn’t decide for just one of them. 🐱 🐶
Rainy holidays are perfect stitchy days. ☔️ So here’s my May Dog 🐶 for the calendar SAL. Backstitching was a but of a pain but well worth it.
Parts 7 & 8 of the Bands of Variation SAL by Lakeside Needlecraft 🌈
And here is little Mr. April Mouse. 🐭 Finally a month I could stick to the pattern. Not even necessary to change the wording.
Better late than never 😅 Here’s my little March Cat for the calendar SAL. 🐱 🎂 🍰 I had to tweak it a little as the original pattern had a big purple badge on the bottom layer of the cake which says “best mum”. But our mother’s day is in May and I don’t even celebrate it at all. So I had to freehand the bottom layer. And I think it turned out ok. Now on to April 😁
It’s a bit weird to finish a Christmas piece on Easter. But hey, it’s only 2°C outside and we might get snow tonight. So I’m just playing along. 🦉 🎄 ❄️ Owls’ Christmas by Soda Stitch
This is band 6 of the Bands of Variation SAL. Finally all of the colors have been used. Live the purple and I’m really curious about next month’s color.
