The unmasking.
These words are not for all. They aren't for her. To be honest there's no "her" anymore. People can be so deceiving. They will fake everything. Love, happiness, smiles, orgasms. They will go to any extents as long as they benefit from it and when they at done, they will discard you like some used tissue. A long time ago I thought I would use words to immortalize her memory but turns out the "us" I thought we were isn't worth immortality. People often mistake infatuation and desperation for love. What's love? Nature's way of tricking us into reproducing? Afraid so. We feel a lot of things. And love is what you feel when a cocktail of hormones rush through your brain. Sadly it makes us turn a blind eye. Gives us a huge blind spot where the significant other is committing farce, deceiving you in every turn. But you are too blind to notice that. It's true that relationships are nothing but a very long power struggle, where the one who is less in touch, less concerned wins. The other one usually ends up like me. I'm not here to pour my heart out, or to wait for her. I'm here to let everything out. What do we do when we love someone so much and they used to love us back with almost the same ferocity but they now love another? What do we do then? Wait? Waiting once was hard enough. It took 2 years which seemed like an infinity but I never swayed but sometimes we just have to give up. People who have no intention of cleaning up the mess they create shouldn't start creating a mess. They don't have the right to do that. But we are ignorant creatures. All we care about is ourselves. Others never matter. Never have, never will. We are the selfish manifestations of our souls. The day our mask falls off is the day we reveal the selfishness, the cold in our hearts. The ice in our souls are covered by the warm smile pasted on our faces but we never let anyone see the devil in us until they are done with us and finally show who they really are. That all of it was nothing but an illusion, the wool over our eyes. The blinding curtain of love falls off and it gives way to hatred and pain. But we all are broken. That's how the light gets in.

He stared into the dark ceiling as her memories engulfed his soul. His existence was based on hers. His guard completely down. No endgame. No exit strategy. That was it. He let himself disappear into her. Absolutely, fiercely, he let himself go to the place where he always longed to be. Home. That's what she felt like. She was his home. He was her beacon.
Radio static.
12.57 AM. My news feed has been dead for over 30 minutes now. My online activity should have been dead too by now but I'm wide awake. Maybe writing something would help. So, here I am writing something that no one else will probably read. Being in love is a complicated thing. It's all fun and games and suddenly your partner decides to go by her own rules. It's all downwards from there. I feel my chest tighten to brace another panic attack. Yes, i haven't have had those for quite some time now. But till now things were looking up too. I've had a dark past. Literally dark. Depression. Anxiety. Abandonment issues. The recipient to make up a troubled teen. Only that I'm no longer a teen. I'm 20...and a half and I still haven't figured it all out. Maybe that's the point of life. An endless charade of trial and error. So far, all I've got is "errors". It seems, I'll be stuck at this level forever. It's been 4 years since I tried moving up. I've rather gone down. When you break repeatedly and consistently, one of 2 things will happen. You will either be unbreakable as the cliché " toughened " or you'll be unbreakable any further. I've reached the latter. This is the time of the allotted 24 hours that are spent awake by people who are broken. Humans are like clocks. One gear loose means the entire cause is defeated. That's what I am-defeated. I've quit on everything in my life. I'm the guy who quits. And I'm consistent. And that's the worst part. I think an abrupt ending would be good for this post as I can't find the courage to write anymore without describing the details of the incident which led up to this post. I guess it's goodbye. For now.
FLASHBACKS:
"This was written around 3 months ago and a lot has changed since then. She's back and everything is good. I never had the nerve to post this back then, nor the time. So no judging now." It will occur at some points of your life. Flashbacks can haunt you, make you dig up on your own history and can drive you to do things you said you wouldnât do. Flashbacks of a love lost in time and distance. Most of these flashbacks are triggered by dreams. Dreams of the one. Mine was one such occasion. Or rather it was an opportunity. An opportunity to make things right or to watch them as they would go horribly wrong and everything is lost . The dream was one where I didnât even see her face. I could hear her voice through the walls of her home. That familiar voice that I once coveted so much that I made for this blog. I wish you could hear her voice. I wish I could somehow make you hear her voice while you read this. But wishes donât come true that easy. You get what you get. She was the one I always wanted. The only one I needed. I didnât run around being greedy when I had her but thatâs life. Itâs not fair. Not fair to those who were true to themselves, their souls. Coming back to the present hour, a dilemma is all I have in my possession. A dilemma whether to call her or to let it go as this sudden surge of feelings fades into the thin air. Love is an unfair affair. Unforgiving. But do we really need to seek forgiveness if we have done nothing wrong? Love has many dark twisted roads and maybe just one illuminated road where itâs all smiles and giggles. I, for one didnât find the illuminated one but itâs not over yet. It canât be that fragile. It canât be that dark when so many people believe in it. What if we start as strangers? What if we do it all over again? What if we donât defy the rules and do it again. Like we used to . What if? The real question is not âwhat if?â The question is âhow?â How do we even begin?

The misunderstood one.
Being misunderstood. Being judged on demerits. Both suck. What sucks more is when the demerits are ones created by the judges. They think what they want to think. They judge according to what they think is wrong or right, not according to what we think is right or wrong. He was one of them. He had fought his way up from the ruins of his so-called-life. He needed an escape to ease off his stress, to relax. To let go of the damage done to him on a day to day basis. He felt like he was suffocating and his only escape was gaming. Some would drink to relieve stress, some would smoke, some would do pot, he gamed. What could have gone wrong with his "way"? Judged. That's what he was. That's what we all are. Everyone becomes a judge and judges people they rarely know. But when you're judged by people who have known all your life; you begin to wonder whether you're the same person you think you are. You feel like you don't know yourself. You break down (to be blunt). He escaped the pit just to fall back into another: one where he was gonna be judged, doubted, misunderstood. When you've tried to be your best and in the end it doesn't matter and you're branded to be one of those people who he never wanted to be, what do you do then? You lose faith, hope. You stop believing in family ties. You want to be alone. Sadly, they won't let you be alone too cause they wanna watch you squirm, wanna watch you suffer for mistakes according to their judgemental eyes. This is not the biography of an average teenager cause the average teenager would have found other ways to relieve stress. Neither is this the story of a nerd. This is something everyone can relate to. This is his new way of escaping the suffocating and to try and beathe again. This is his escape now.
