Anna-Marie let out a hearty laugh, giving his hand a squeeze back as she turned to give him a brilliant smile. "I know, you probably corrupt them enough when you teach. They don't need a Monty Python Sex Ed lesson. I don't think the school board would approve."

”Good news, Sugah, you’re not brain-damaged,” Anna-Marie said with a small smile. “Bad news is that you definitely have a concussion. We need to get you to the infirmary for observation. I know your head hurts, do you think you can walk or do you need me to carry you?”

“No, no, no, no,” Anna-Marie gasped, running to Henrik’s side. She put on hand on his pulse and the other on his cheek, gently moving his head so she was able to make eye-contact with him. “Sugah, look at me. Look at me, telling what’s going on?”

"I know, Sugah, I know," Anna-Marie said softly, giving his hand a squeeze to let him that she was still there. "These people are gonna help you, Sugah. They're not going to hurt you. I'm not going to let anything happen to you." 

 One of the nurses walked up to her and asked her relation to Henrik, and she immediately answered that she was family. They began wheeling him towards a room, with Anna-Marie holding his hand the entire time. She watched the doctors over with wary eyes, hoping that Henrik wouldn't freak out with all the doctors around. She didn't want him to feel uncomfortable or panicked. She just wanted him to be safe, healthy and happy.

“It’s just a babysitting job,” Anna-Marie laughed. “Why does Bonnie not think you’re good around kids or anything? Because that theory is out of the water. You got on with my Luc just fine?”

“Na she just likes when I do things that aren’t completely selfish or have ulterior motives” Mike shrugged. “she says they give me heaven points which is stupid since ya know…I can’t die.”

"Heaven points?" Anna-Marie asked with a frown. "Is she really Catholic are something? My sister-in-law is, bless her. And got that from your Pa? I'm sorry Sugah."

"Trust me, I say something to them. I nearly threatened to chop off Oli's balls when I caught him sneaking girls into his room when you werre younger," Anna-Marie responded, offended that her daughter didn't believe she was treating all of them fairly. "And I know you're not dumb. You're as dumb as a fox. But mistakes happen. I know this. I just need you to be careful."

"It's just a babysitting job," Anna-Marie laughed. "Why does Bonnie not think you're good around kids or anything? Because that theory is out of the water. You got on with my Luc just fine?"

“Good,” she replied, smiling at him, nuzzling her face against his neck. She stood against him for a moment, allowing herself to enjoy it before she pulled away and grabbed his hand, threading his fingers with hers. “Come on, Swamp Rat, let’s get out of here before we scandalize the children.”

Anna-Marie petted Nathan’s hair, smiling down at him softly. He had passed out on her lap an hour ago and she was in no rush to him. “You really were tired, huh, weren’t you Sugah?”

“Aahhhhh yea, this place is good ‘n swanky……I like dis…..May be able to get inta a whole mess a trouble, here…” Joss said to no one in particular as he looked around the campus, twirling a large crystal between his fingers.

"Color me blind," Anna-Marie laughed. "Is that Josiah Guthrie I see? Get over here and give me a hug. I haven't seen you in ages. You look like you've gotten taller! You look so much like Sam!"

“I’m sorry but that won’t work on me.” He said with a small smile. “You were certainly close though.” Dick chuckled, speaking in a whisper to the person who tried to take his wallet. He stoked their face and snatched the wallet back.

"What in Sam's Hell are you doing, Sugah?" Anna-Marie asked Dick with an arched eyebrow. "That's a student you got that there. And I'm pretty sure that teacher-student interactions are a big no-no regardless of age."

"That was one hell of a nasty shot, Sugah," Anna-Marie said, bending down next to Paige to examine her. She gently pushed Paige's back up so she was in a semi-sitting position and began examining her eyes for signs of a concussion.

"Alright, Paigey, what's your name? What day is it? Where are you? And what's your codename?" Anna-Marie asked, going through the routine lines of questioning to ensure Paige did not have any brain damage.

Bekka sighed softly as she sat up on a counter, holding a hand to her head. When she pulled it away it was covered in blood. “Mama, im okay i promise. Its only a scratch.” @anna-marie-rogue

“Just a scratch, my ass,” Anna-Marie said sharply, taking her arm and examining it. She whistled at the cut and immediately took the bourdon from on top of the counter.

“This is gonna sting, Sugah,” she said, gently pouring it on the gash.

Anna-Marie’s German wasn’t the best, but with Kurt’s psyche in her head, she was able to make out what he was trying to say. While she was glad that he trusted her, she was heartbroken that he had been placed in such a situation. His silence during her quick flight back to campus was concerning, but she could still feel his chest rising and falling with each puff of breath.

“I’m not gonna leave you,” she whispered to him as the front desk nurse gestured to put him on a nearby stretcher and took his hand in hers, refusing to let go.

“Doesn’t make you any less of a charmer,” Anna-Marie whispered against his lips, nudging his nose with hers. She pulled away and smiled at him. “Want to get out of here before we scandalize all the rugrats, Sugah?”
