Akasha, the hairless cat, catching the last of the morning sun in our new studio in Ohio. š Iām really enjoying this moment of peace to get some studies and painting in after what has been the most hectic month Iāve experienced in a long time. Right after a burn, I and a few Austin artists moved cross country with our cats to work on building a huge immersive installation in Columbus. My car broke down outside of Nashville, we didnāt have a place to land till hours before we got to Columbus, we started working all day before even unpacking our bags, and as soon as we got a house, Loki-the other hairless cat-managed to hide himself so well that we spent 5 hours scouring the neighborhood looking for him. But besides all of that, the installation is an absolute dream job and I couldnāt have imagined a more amazing team of artists to be around and work with. Life is messy and wonderful and beautiful and I wouldnāt have it any other way. (at Columbus, Ohio)
