Reyna spends years studying under Circe on an island of other sorceresses and doesn’t learn any magic? All this set-up of her having been there and we get absolutely no pay-off? Let her turn somebody into a rodent. As a treat. Have her and Hazel bond over both learning magic. c’mon. Give us something.

i feel like the humor in pjo (and in children’s lit in general) is kinda like. i don’t say juvenile to degrade it but it’s silly and it’s what makes the books great and i don’t think it’s gonna translate well if they adapt it like a straight adaptation u know. where’s the fun in percy’s narration gonna go then if it’s not his first person pov!!! just have fun with the format make it silly let percy have his voice by literally fake interviewing him i will fund this myself with the 20 bucks i have in my account

the only character i can tolerate being afraid of nico is apollo bc

Okay, but the fact Percy lived with Sally and Paul for awhile is actually hilarious because they probably tortured that kid. Sally the author? Paul the English teacher? Percy definitely had to listen to them nerding out. Sally is talking for ten minutes about symbolism in Lord of the Flies over dinner while Paul gives an in-depth analysis of the thing and Percy, a dyslexic child who hasn’t read for more than ten minutes without being interrupted by a monster, is just there like:

oh yea this is definitely a fact. the only reason Sally is not currently freaking out is because she hasn’t slept in 38 hours. when she wants up she thinks it’s a dream until she’s sees Will asleep on the couch and then she goes and wakes up paul and they silently scream together about how Naomi Solaces son is staying at their house
