princessanna: i can’t wait for summer again
It gets a little lonely, All these empty rooms, Just watching the hours tick by
Does it still hurt? Even after all these years? ——( “Yes.” )
‡ ( only for anna :c )
send ‡ for my muse’s reaction to yours climbing into bed with them.
Being an only child had had it’s number of perks, sure but it had also had a multitude of downfalls. No one to blame messes on, no one to develop a secret language with that could be used to annoy adults, insult people they mutually disliked or throw verbal daggers at one another. And the worst con of all? The loneliness. There was no built in best friend, no one to share a room with or sneak into theirs under the cover of darkness to stay up late telling dumb scary stories and there certainly wasn’t anyone who no matter if you were getting along in the moment or not, would always irrevocably have your back against the world.
Cameron had felt that loneliness on occasion from being an only child but he couldn’t feel bad for himself, not when he knew someone who had felt the same loneliness but in a far more devastatingly lonely way. Anna, one of two, part of a pair, Abrahms - the younger sister with the sibling relationship that if it went on far too long, HAD to give someone an acute case of only child syndrome no matter how many siblings they may or may not have.
Somewhere along the line, she had become a pseudo sister of sorts; nagging Cameron when he both needed it and didn’t need to hear it despite truly needing to be nagged at, teasing him ruthlessly with jests that only someone as pure as Anna could consider ruthless and worthy of ‘let me get you an ice pack for that’ follow ups, and most importantly, they looked out for each other like siblings would.
Cameron didn’t even know the full extent of her relationship with her older sister, it was mostly assuming on his end from the small insight she had given him here and there and the fact he never saw them together much or heard of any sisterly antics from Anna’s mouth. Plus, someone with that much sisterly pest built up couldn’t have had much of an outlet for it. But he didn’t need to. Even if her and Elsa had a great relationship that he didn’t know about, that wouldn’t or couldn’t change the fact that Anna was like a sister to him.
A sister with cold toes and the notoriety of kicking off her socks before clambering into Cam’s bed whenever she stayed the night at his apartment. That and the fact she loved letting his dog cram up onto the bed as well. Cameron took up enough room without two of his favorite space hogs doing what they did best.
“Touch me again with those feet and you’ll wake up looking like a Bratz doll.” He threatened after Anna had snuck a toe to the back of his leg for the fifth time in less minutes. “And YOU!” Swatting where the dog lay smushed to his chest, his voice was grumpy but his deepset dimples were showing. “Breathe that stinky dog breath in my face again and you’re both sleeping on the floor.”
TEXT ✉: Anna ⇄ Elsa
Elsa: Somewhat, but that's what coffee's for
Elsa: You're right, it's not a relationship... and I miss you
Elsa: Give me a few weeks.
Elsa: I mean, maybe it'll only take a week or so, and I don't want to hurt you again, but maybe we could get coffee? Or tea, if you'd prefer.
Elsa: Or chocolate
Anna: But coffee is so bitter! I will never understand how people can drink it!
Anna: I miss you too
Anna: ...ok whatever you need
Anna: You can have coffee, I'll have hot chocolate :)
Anna: so.. just to make sure we're making plans to see each other again right?
Anna: in the near future, not like months from now where we've forgotten what each other looks like
Anna: and then we'd have to make some code of like wearing flowers in our hair or both having braids to know who's who
Anna: this plan is like within the next couple of weeks...right?

Abrahms.
Vidia wasn’t thatmuch of an eye-rolling snark master to where everyone annoyed her. The girl had her faults but sometimes, life had much bigger concerns than a few piles of broken glass or things dumped onto customers unceremoniously. If clumsiness was Anna’s biggest fault, Vidia couldn’t hold it against her every single time she dealt with her.
Besides, the treat being offered out made her stomach rumble.
Easing closer in order to have a look at the selection, she lifted her head back up to offer Anna a smile, having noted her cautious one when she had first been acknowledged. At least she knew enough to know that she could occasionally be on Vidia’s bad side depending on the day. ❝ There’s only so many times the food here can be seen as a treat. ❞ Vidia confided, often having dinner tucked away in a corner when a shift lull allowed it or before / after a shift depending on the time. The food offered on the tavern menu was delicious, it was no knock at their cooks or their capabilities but after a while, sometimes you found yourself wanting something of a change.
Selecting one that looked particularly delectable, she set it aside on the bar top to enjoy on her way home or as a treat when she curled up for a movie later in the night. ❝ Thanks. ❞ Again, a smile showed and this time it was accompanied by a small laughing shake of her head. ❝ You know, I can’t remember the last time I swung by Neverland but my tastebuds are already yelling at me for not having spoiled them lately. Especially whenever Tiana is on shift. ❞
Relieved to catch Vidia in a good mood, she smiled back at her. “I know, nothing against the cooks here because they are great, but after while we need a change. Maybe we should suggest that, have like weekly specials!” Of course, Anna wasn’t going to go storming into the kitchen demanding they make something new if they weren’t for it.
“Well Bianca and I are trying everything on their menu, I could ask her if you could join our little game. We each take turns buying something and trying, if we don’t like it we offer it to our other coworkers!” Though she wasn’t sure if Vidia would actually be interested, it would give her a new treat to have at least once a week. “Everyone loves Tiana, whenever I go in there everyones mentions here, I really should try and find here one day and tell her how popular she is!”

Cameron was sure Anna could stand stationary on her own with no assistance required so he took his arm back and eased his arms into a relaxed fold over his chest, a laugh rumbling. “Maybe a flashing neon one with a sound system built in to alert people to clear the way, The Klutz and hot food are approaching. Or to beep when you have to back up.” Hoping his teasing wasn’t being taken negatively, he offered her another smile and leaned towards her a little like he was divulging sensitive information. “I’ve chipped the same elbow seven times in the exact same spot each time and that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.”
Unable to stop herself she giggled at his teasing, “I think it could save a lot more people from food falling on them.” The idea of people moving out of her way out of fear of her dropping something on them was amusing. She stilled at his moment, not wanting to head-butt him, because with her luck, she would. “Oh my gosh, does your elbow had a dent in it? At least with you, you aren’t causing other people problems. I’m always getting yelled at for spilling something on someone, or dropping something.”
‡ ( sadly only with anna since curtis wouldn't get into anyone else's bed )

Anna - in her uncanny way - had managed to not only clog up one of the tavern’s sinks but lose her keys in the process in just one comically slow motion trip that had resulted with her keys down the drain and the girl needing a place to crash. Why Vidia had volunteered to let her stay the night at her place was beyond her the moment she had asked - further beyond her when Anna had instantly launched into a spiel about all of the super near sleepover things they could do!!!!! - but she had and she wasn’t one to go back on her word. Vidia had even suffered through ( admitting she enjoyed their night would clearly totally ruin her reputation, duh ) the long list of things that supposedly people did at sleepovers.
It had been so long since she had been to the Hollywood type of slumber parties in her youth and honestly, they were all but forgotten so she took Anna’s word for it that yes, this goop was for her face and that one was for the chips…and hadn’t even strangled her when she had heard the girl then whisper ‘or was it the other way around’
Movies had been watched, weird sounding, gross looking yet delicious tasting snack combos from the internet had been dared and despite the denial should anyone ask - some giggles had been shared.
In a town full of vampires, werewolves and people who ate Oreos as a whole and not as two cookies and THEN the combined pile of the true reason people even bought Oreo’s in the first place white filling, Anna - Vidia had to admit - was completely harmless. Innocent even.
So when she heard her door open and her name whispered, she had only let out a groan and moved over, another groan coming when Anna nearly canonballed herself onto her bed. She had set her up in a guest room but…as the redhead snuggled in and Vidia’s arm became a vice gripped teddy bear, Vidia wasn’t AS overjoyed at the mental reminder that the plumber would be waiting for her at the Den when it opened.
— Maybe sometimes, the best part of a sleepover didn’t HAVE to be the over part.
— but only SOMETIMES.
— in extreme moderations.

Milo’s eyebrows pinched together at the sentence he’d just heard. “ I, um— I don’t think you know what that word means. ”
“O-oh?” Her face flushed at the idea of using a word that she didn’t know the meaning of, or just using the word wrong. “What does it uh, mean then? Just for future reference, that way I don’t get myself into situation like this again.”
alicexhowell:
“Oh dear,” Alice noticed the familiar disorienting feeling in her head, causing her to lose her balance from dizziness.
Anna glanced up look at the other, “are you okay?”
