Happy 4th!

Battle Hymn shaped me. It's one of the first songs that I memorized from my parent's CD collection on our endless car trips across the states. The addictive, rhythmic chorus and vivid lyrics (The watchfires of a hundred circling camps) ran grooves into my child’s mind. I still remember my father singing the fourth as a mission statement, “As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free!”
