Instagram last update was so bad that I am once again back in the Tumblr building 🫡 recent formal wear for my elven sorcerer larp PC
I started sketching a silly lil idea of tadc cast going on a ballroom dancing adventure- mainly what their “formal” ball wear would be… would yall be interested in seeing it?
just trying to determine how much time and “finish” I should put into it
should I design ballroom looks for our lovely digital circus cast?💃
you better hop to it🐰
eh not my cup of tea☕️
Tickets to my 5th annual event known as The Undead of Winter in Milton PA are at ROTentertainment.com. It’s coming up on February 13 and 14th.

The Belle of the ball
Idea: Leon Kennedy is the heir to the Raien throne but as tradition of the kingdom states, he has to choose a woman to marry to get the throne and after years of putting it aside and refusing, Leon finally gives his mother permission to host a ball and invites the Princesses of far and wide kingdoms but none of them interest him, till he sees one in the corner just watching.
Tropes: Prince x princess
Warnings:
Key:
Y/n-Your name
Song: Luminary- Joel Sunny
The news of Prince Leon finally agreeing to hold a ball to find a bride, spun through the inner circles of nearby kingdoms faster than anyone could finish talking. The news even going further beyond the sea to an island just a few stones throw from the main land of Raien. But this land wasn't a kingdom like theirs, it was different and cold. The royalty kept their princess locked inside.
The kingdom of Slayon was a quiet kingdom who didn't delve into the wars or issues of the kingdoms beyond the sea, wanting to keep a solitary and peaceful life in the place that seemed to always snow yet was never cold to the point of needing fur or wool on your dresses. The snow looked soft like glitter and felt like fairy dust when it touched your nose. At the news of the ball the king and queen wanted the princess to stay behind so they could protect her but after begging they allowed her to go. She didn't want to go to meet the prince, she wanted to go for the sake of exploring. Of seeing land that wasn't her own.
The journey took just over a day, her dressing arriving before her. The king and Queen of Raien let her stay in the castle where they knew Leon wouldn't go. They didn't want her to have an advantage over the other women, the other princesses who were to come to the ball.
~~
The day of the ball came, the ballroom lined with ribbons of blue and white hung from corner to corner. The ornate and golden chandelier burning it's candles brightly as the royal cortette played their tunes. The servant by the stairs announcing the guests as they arrived.
"Now we have.." the servant read his eyes quickly going back the scroll to remind him of who it was that was coming down the stairs. "Princess y/n of Slayon"
The dress was a forest green with a small train that followed behind of lace that almost glistened with dew in the light of the candles that lit the room. Instead of two full sleeves there was two almost transparent green ribbon on the arms. One under the other and she wore matching gloves. Her hair was a mousy brown, curled and up in a half up half down style. Some pieces curled around the diadem she wore. The diadem embellished with the diamonds and gems of her kingdom.
The people in the ball room didn't care for the new comer, she wasn't well known amongst the other people in court. But one pair of eyes was on them, watching as they walked down the stairs holding the skirt of their dress so they would not fall.
"A hand my lady?"
"Why thank you" she replied, a smile on her face at being approached as soon as she was.
"I do not recognise you to be a lady of the court"
"That is because my kingdom is one of the sea, I am not part of any court except my own" she explained with a raised brow, she knew she was sheltered but even she knew of the other kingdoms and their families and customs yet this man didn't.
"So you are a odd blooded?" he asked
She tore her hand from his and backed away. Odd blooded, a very old term for a member of royalty that was from a distant unimportant land or someone of no power. A insult that if said in her own kingdom would have you sent for treason.
"I am no more odd blooded than any of you" she said, her voice calm with her chin aimed high. Y/n turned away from the man and walked away to find space where she could be alone and stem in her feelings till she was calm enough to speak again.
But no matter how long she spent in the corner of the room she found herself going back to the man's sentence. Her mind repeating it again and again, an ongoing reminder of just how much she didn't belong here so she did the only thing she could think of... Escape.
The air outside almost tasted sweet with the scent of the flowers that grew in vines around the column. The quartz cold but welcoming under her hands as she rested her hands on the railing. Y/n found herself humming a tune, one that reminded her of home.
"That's a tune I haven't heard before"
Y/n turned expecting to see the man from before but it wasn't, it was someone different yet she still bowed as was the rules. Even if you yourself was royalty.
"It is a song from my kingdom"
"And where is that?"
The woman smiled taking in great pleasure to talk about the place in which she called home. "Slayon, a place of snow that isn't cold but oh is it beautiful. It almost looks like a place of fairytales"
"Sounds like a place I would want to go"
"Well I'm sure a prince like yourself is far too busy to visit a kingdom off the mainland"
"So you recognised me?"
"I may not be part of the royal courts but I do know of the other royals, Prince Leon" I replied with a smile on my face.
"Then you know what happens at these balls then?"
I find myself turning away from Leon, my hands back on the quartz railing, looking out at the unlit garden.
"I am aware of the customs yes"
"Then would you do me the honour of doing the custom with me?"
I face him, tilting my head as I speak "Is this your way of asking me for a dance?"
"If it was?" he asked
"Then I'll say yes"
Leon's hand found it's way into mine. Leading me back inside the crowded ballroom, everyone turning mid conversation to see who it was that had captured the Prince's attention. Everyone moved out of our way as we danced, spinning around hand in hand as the music played on.
~~
For the days after the ball, even after the Princess had returned home Leon found his thoughts bought and taken by the only Princess he danced with that night. He knew his answer, who he would choose to marry. If they liked him enough to say yes and agree. He ignored the pleas of his parents to choose a more known Princess.
It was three days of rough sleep and a journey full of endless storms travelling to the kingdom of Slayon where the Princess was unexpectedly waiting for him.
"Prince Leon of Raien" a worker announced. Haruka stood up from her seat on the throne steps, facing the door which Leon walked through.
"Leon"
"I've chosen. I choose you"
