She looked at Tyrion, confused until she understood what he meant. “I still think I’d take my chances with a person instead of a Direwolf,” Anna looked at the door with a sigh. “I wish we had more time together in Winterfell. It would be dawn soon judging by how quickly the sky seemed to be lightening. “They sounded close, does Negan have a lot of cars at his disposal?” she asked as she looked back, swerving in the road slightly as she did. “Fuck,” Anna sighed as she looked back to the road. “Will he want to kill us, or just get you back?”

“Alright.. look out for some cars that seem like they might still have some gas in it.. got it.” he nods his head and then looks at her as she asks questions about his father.

“He has enough.. i don’t know how many he’d use…. but he would probably kill us to prove a point.. either way, I’d rather die then go back there.”

Anna scoffed lightly and put her foot down on the gas, trying to get them as far as possible on what the car could give. She reached over and rested her hand on his thigh, squeezing it gently. She at least felt like there was some control now.

“What if we get to the Canadian border and everything’s fine?” she wanted to entertain the thought, though she knew damn well the rest of the world was just as fucked as the states, having spoken to her sister in Europe not long after it happened. “We could have a little cabin and fish every day, and have ridiculously polite neighbours,” she joked, clearly struggling to keep up the light-heartedness.

There was the signs of a town up ahead coming into view, Anna sped up to get there sooner, and put Negan and all his bullshit behind them both. “I could learn to not hate fishing,” she mumbled.

Anna finished the braid and laughed softly at Peter’s words, leaning forward to kiss the top of Emily’s head. “Luckily she takes after me, along with the coffee addiction,” she said when their orders were brought over. “It’s hot chocolate,” she assured Peter.

The car was just through the woods behind the office, luckily close enough that the lack of daylight didn’t make things too hard. Anna threw the bags in the back seat of the car and got in the drivers seat. She revved the engine a few times, cursing under her breath as she felt like each failed attempt was giving away their location.

“Here,” she handed over the pistol to Wade moments before the car was going. “In case they seen us,” the road in front of them was empty, and even though she had no idea which direction they should have been going, she just wanted to get away from where they were.
