I've been getting a lot of new followers so I just want to reiterate that while I do agree with a lot of radical feminist stances and thinkers, I don't personally ID as a radfem, and I do practice a religion that many of you would call patriarchal. I am still somewhat critical of religion and I am always trying to read feminist theologians and use critical thinking! I don't believe in proselytizing and I always try to find a religious assembly led by a woman. That said, here are some stances related to feminism that I hold:

anti-beauty culture (makeup, cosmetic surgery, shaving, etc)

pro-LGB (I'm a lesbian)

gender-critical

anti-capitalist

I love the idea of female separatism but I admit that I have not done as much research on this as the other topics, I do try to support female-owned businesses and practice small forms of separatism in my everyday life though

what im here for: little girls being allowed to cut their hair short and wear comfortable clothes so they can roll around and play. little girls never being asked about their theoretical “boyfriends” and not having the idea of having a boyfriend thrust on them. little girls having crushes on their best friend whos a girl and being able to be open about it. little girls being allowed to be themselves and be comfortable and be little kids.

anyways if you’re racist then you can’t possibly be a good feminist. the majority of women are not white, but rather women of colour. if you do not care for most women & their well-being, you don’t care for women, you care for white people. you do not care about ending sex-based oppression, you care about ensuring white women are on equal standing with white men. when your feminism only serves white women, then it’s not for women as a whole, and not even for half of the female population. that’s not feminism, that’s just a repackaged form of white supremacy.
