Anyone wants to help me create a podcast about Podtogether? (Hopefully for the Begind the Pod fest, no promises.)
I just have a few questions for you to answer in a voice recording that I'll include (probably whole, maybe not at all) in a single work.
A few guidelines first:
- Say your name in the audio and put your ao3 pseud somewhere so I can credit you!
- Please remind us what question you're answering by reading it out or something each time.
- Pick and choose, diverge, include snippets from your projects, whatever, it's all fine.
- You can send me your recording on tumblr, discord or by email at annabelle.myrt at gmail.
- You have until the 22 of June.

- Describe your best previous podtogether experience and why it was the best.

Summer Podfic Swap 2026āØ
We're back again! Looking for some low commitment podfic fun this summer? Sign up for Summer Podfic Swap, a multi-fandom, no-minimum podfic exchange! Runs June through August 2026.
Create a podfic of any length and receive a podfic in return! Signup via the ao3 exchange by June 15th. Assignments go out near the end of June. Gifts are due by August 17th. Reveals will take place near the end of August. If youāre interested, but not sure about signing up, you are always welcome to make treats for the exchange! The deadline for submitting treats is August 31st.

How to signup Please sign up through our AO3 exchange here. [The form will open June 1st!] Instructions are included at the top of the form. You will fill out both Request and Offer sections. When signing up, please list a minimum of three fandoms, maximum of twenty; fandoms listed for giving and receiving can be different. If you would like to list more fandoms, you can do so in your Dear Podficcer Letter, but this will not be factored into matching. Dear Podficcer Letters are required. Your completed signup form will be visible to others to facilitate treats.
How will matching be done Matching will be done through the ao3 algorithm, with the mods spot checking the results. Matches will be made on matching request/offer fandoms, and potentially shared additional tags. If you have any concerns about matching that you donāt feel comfortable sharing publicly, please email the mods before the close of signups. After matches are made, assignments will be emailed out by the end of June.

Pod-togetherĀ is a fandom fest where writers and podficcers create togetherāthe writer creating text specifically intended for audio, and the podficcer creating the audio. If that sounds fun to you,Ā sign-ups are open until June 13th!Ā You can find instructions to sign up, rules, and FAQ at the dreamwidth site linked in our bio.
Sign-ups come in two flavors. If you would like the mods to match you with someone with similar fandom interests, sign up for Matchmaker Sign-Ups. If you would like to sign up with a partner, we also have Group Sign-Ups.
Writing is due July 26th, and podfic is due August 23rd. The minimum length for pod-together projects is 1000 words or 10 minutes of audio.
This is our 16th year running this challenge, and participants usually have a ton of fun and create amazing stuff, with everything from the typical style of fannish stories to submissions with filk, poetry, found footage/audio drama, sound effects, massive multi-voice collaborations, full-cast musicals, immersive soundscapes, playable games, and multiple languages.

Hi! Iāve been seeing a lot about PodRPG, can you direct me somewhere with information about it? It looks really fun and like something I would definitely be interested in but Iām a bit overwhelmed with specifics. Can anyone sign up and is there a proper procedure?
Hi! I did completely skip on the context huh. Here's some, and some info about the upcoming round. TL;DR, you're looking for this but note that it's still a draft and that signups aren't open yet.
PodRPG is a mix between a role-playing game campaign and a discord-based podfic challenge. I ran a first version of it last year that ended a few months ago, you can find the rules for it here and the playbook of the quest here.
It was very much a test run, and I wanted to rework the rules some before the second round. I'd been working on that and on the new playbook when Voiceteam came around with the perfect challenge (Storytime) to push me to finalize it. I'm guessing that's where you heard of it, but basically, I took the opportunity to post that first quest playbook, finalize and post the spellbook for the second quest, and finalize (but not post!) the second playbook.
I'm tentatively planning to run the second round in the fall. Sign-ups aren't open yet but you can find the draft of the rules here.
