not even going to front, things have been tough. lifeâs been tough and trying to still use rp as an escape has been tough- tumblr and itâs updates made sure of that. i think iâm not the only one feeling a type of way- it feels like a chore to just make your replies seem, like, coherent. and itâs really frustrating because i have really dope partners who are super understanding and donât mind waiting but itâs the platform that i feel like has been letting me down. so, i just cleared out my queue i have other things drafted that iâm not purposely ignoring however i was thinking of potentially moving threads onto discord. discord seems to be a much easier platform atm and maybe with summer ending iâll have more time to have patience for tumblr but for now.... my big brain needs easy and low maintenance.Â
with all that being said, i know i have a few partners already added on discord and if youâre totally down for moving threads or starting new ones on there, please let me know!! and to the partners whoâs handles that i donât have and want to do the same, letâs be friends!! and please donât feel obligated, iâm not trying to make more work for everyone else. i really donât think i have it in me to delete this account and iâll prob work on drafts when i have the proper time to sit down. but for now, until that day comes, please feel free to like this post if youâre interested with writing on discord and iâll shoot you a message :)Â
i also just hope everyone and their families/loved ones are doing okay during such weird times and please donât forget about your own mental health!!!Â

âoh baby i do.â aisling crooned against drewâs mouth, a soft moan creeping up from the back of her throat at the feeling of her tongue. it was wonderful to be this close to the other. she loved her so much and being able to have their heated, bare skin flush was making her head spin. she loved trying out new things with her lover, always so confident that they knew each otherâs limit and could read whether it was a matter of pleasure or not. but right now, she was feeling nothing except wonderful pleasure. âitâs all for youâŠâ she groaned against drewâs skin, hissing softly at the feeling of blunt nails dragging against her skin. so fucking hot. every touch had her feeling even better. drew just made her feel wonderful. when fingers pulled on her hair, she breathed harder and when the hand fell between her legs, the keening sound that fell from her lips was full of lust. she longed for the other to push her fingers inside her but drew had other ideas. âtaste myself?â she echoed as she wrapped a hand around drewâs wrist. her hips rocked harder, her skin getting more flushed by the second. then, with her eyes on drewâs, she took her fingers between her lips and lavished them with her tongue. âput your other hand on my assâŠâ she requested, letting go of her fingers with a soft pop to speak before she took them back between her lips. âfeels so goodâŠâ
drewâs eyes filled with absolute adoration at the sight of aisling taking drewâs fingers into her mouth. âyou look so pretty.â honestly, drew could spend the entire night just spewing compliments at aisling. she deserved it. she deserved to feel utter bliss, too, which drew was determined to give her and then some. the brunette barely let a beat pass before she was cupping aislingâs ass after her request, squeezing at tender flesh and soon having a tight enough hold to help guide her movements as aisling continued to grind against drew. âlike that?â drew asked between battered breaths, soon biting down onto her lip as she allowed aisling to soak up drewâs fingers before pulling them back out and dragging them down her chest, swiping across and circling around a harden nipple. âyou like being needy on top of me? riding me?â drew already missed having aisling on her mouth, and was craving to pull her back down to swallow down more of her whimpers and moans. yet another chill was sent down drewâs spine, despite their flushed bodies- turned on by every little thing that aisling did. âgod, i want to be inside of you so bad.â

ârather likely, which youâll see throughout the park, though some are lacking it as a result of the dna editing we had to do in order for the animals to be cloned properly â you may have seen that in the introductory video? i canât answer that question, as both dinosaurs are herbivores, and though they existed around the same time, itâs unlikely theyâd ever properly be in combat. we do, in fact, have a t-rex, sheâll be last on the tour.â there were very few moments in time when meredith hated her job, but this â shepherding some rich kid whoâd paid something ridiculous (probably more than sheâd ever see in her lifetime) for a personal tour â was certainly one of them. it was worth it, for the chance to work with dinosaurs, but boy was it frustrating.
she couldnât help but roll her eyes, ducking her head so that he couldnât see as the two walked through that archway. it never failed to impress her, despite her best efforts, and despite the fact that sheâd seen it about a billion times since sheâd started working at the park. that, though, was nothing compared to the creatures that lay past it, and meredith squared her shoulders, striding through it with quick steps, intent on giving a good tour and getting the whole thing over with as soon as she possibly could.
neat, practical boots, to match the plain green jumpsuit that was the uniform of the more hands-on workers at the park, tromped across the leaf-strewn pavement, taking her directly towards the jeep. royalâs words made her stop, turn towards him, and struggle: to restrain exasperation in this moment took a bit more self control than she had, at the time. âthe point of a jeep, and not a helicopter, mr. khan, is that you get to see the dinosaurs up close, and the noise of a helicopter would likely scare them off, if you could even see them from that distance.â her tone was clearly frustrated, words rushing out as if from a newly-opened dam, and she took a quick breath, attempting to channel optimism, politeness, and something, perhaps, that would allow her to keep her job. âand, the jeep allows you to feed the herbivores by hand! isnât that fun?â
admittedly, royal completely ignored the introduction video. he knew everything that he needed to know. royal could only occupy his mind with the fact that he was going to see dinosaurs in the flesh. everything else was put on the back burner. however, royal was more than impressed with all the answers that meredith - his tour guide - was providing. even though the best answer of them all - the one that took most of his attention - is that they had a t-rex. that one made his eyes wide and bright. âyou know your stuff too, huh?â although it wasnât fair to compare the two of them given that royal was more of a glorified fan boy and meredith had an actual career in knowing this kind of stuff, but in royalâs mind it was all the same to him. mostly, he was just excited to be around other people who liked the same things that he did- possibly on the same level, too.Â
a sure fire way to get royal to stop his train of thought is to up his bright idea with a brighter one. suddenly, he could care less about a helicopter. âiâm going to feed an actual dinosaur?â royal was so blinded by his own obsession that he could take any of meredithâs words, or tone, to heart. without saying much else, royal speed up his walk and reached the jeep quicker than excited. his actions spoke loudest as to how he felt about the plans that laid ahead for him. âi didnât think about that, yâknow, with the noise of the helicopter scaring them. i just want to see everything, like, now. this is kind of like a little meâs dream of mine coming to life and iâm still waiting to wake up at any second.â now, actually standing in the center of the park, the reality of it all was starting to really hit royal. his heart was still racing with excitement, of course, but he had been dealing with restless leg syndrome since boarding that jet and now, seeing everything in person and touching the jeep that was about to put him up close and personal with the species was making him a bit levelheaded. he was nowhere to being nonchalant - yet - but at least his brain was starting to swerve in that direction.
with his hand tapping rhythmically against the hood of the car, royal whistled quietly, waiting to be joined by the other. âso do i drive this thing, or do you...?â yup, he definitely did not pay any attention to that introductory video.

âYou say it like we have a choice in the matterâ Adrienne countered although even if she was offered the choice, she will would have been there. âAnd yet, it looks like I showed up right on timeâ After working two nights in a row, she had fallen asleep on her couch in her own apartment and had woken up to the sound of Milanaâs sniffling. Her eyes opened and she was no longer in front of her TV, she was sitting in the passenger seat of Milanaâs car. Adrienne shifted around in the seat until she was comfortable. Neither of them were sure exactly how this thing worked and the unpredictability of it often put Adrienne in odd situations where she would have to explain why it looked as if she was having a full-blown conversation by herself. It was hard seeing Milana upset and even harder knowing that the distance between them meant that Adrienne couldnât physically be there for her. Adrienne didnât know the full scope of what was going on with Milana but knew it had something to do with her boyfriend.
Adrienne wondered if things between them would have been different if they were not so far apart from each other. She wanted to be able to comfort her, to be confided in, to actually touch her especially in moments like this when she was hurting so much. âAnother bad day?â She arched a brow and turned in the seat so that her back was up against the window. âStop itâ Adrienne said to Milana. She could feel the other pushing her away, trying to have her disappear rather than be vulnerable around her. âIâm here because you reached out to me, because you need a shoulder to lean on. You canât bottle all of that up, itâs not goodâ Her instinct was to touch her shoulder or try to hold her hand but she didnât. âIâm here for you, talk to meâ
as much as milana didnât want to admit it, just hearing adrienneâs voice had made milana feel a little bit better. a temporary fix, though. it doesnât take long before milana was reminding herself that her and adrienne were nothing but in each otherâs eyes and nothing more. she can feel milanaâs exhaustion- and combined with her own made her defenses at an all time low. she was in no mood to fight, or argue. what milana did need was what exactly what adrienne was offering her: a shoulder to lean on. milana just knew that every time they had these kinds of talks, milana happened to fall that much deeper for the person who knew practically everything about herself.Â
a giant sigh escaped the womanâs body as she took the time to run a hand down her face, giving herself time to gather her thoughts and swallow some of the sadness down so that when she spoke again it wasnât cracking. âhe doesnât understand that buying things isnât going to solve everything. i donât want an expensive bag, i want you there at home with me. he had the audacity to call me ungrateful.â milana scoffed as she reminisced the events that led her to that point- that led her to leaving their apartment in a fit of rage to be by herself. well, to be by herself was the idea. now, milana was venting her feelings to a person she swore, at most times, was nothing but an imaginary person. milana had a hard time accepting things that were good for her because internally she felt like she was undeserving. that led to being one of the reasons why she continued to stay in the relationship that she was in; settling but subconsciously itâs what she convinced herself that she deserved to have.
milana rubbed at her forehead in an attempt to numb the dulling ache that she felt behind it from the crying and anger that she had been feeling. after a moment, milana exhaled a less shaky sigh. she shook her head in defeat as she dabbed at the remaining wet parts of her eyes. âbut iâll go back home eventually and heâll say a million sorryâs and iâll say itâs okay and we move on until we fight again.â that was pretty much the cycle that milana was stuck in in a nutshell, and she could even admit - out loud - how pitiful it sounded. âyou showing up is so silly. i feel like i do nothing but waste your time.â

This was another one of those situations where Charlotte just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. She saw something she was not supposed to see and now she was mixed up in something that she wanted no part of. Her plan was to lie-low for a couple of weeks until the trial had passed and then go back home to return to her normal life. Charlotte was sure she had been careful to keep to one place and not draw too much attention to herself yet the bounty hunter was able to find and âarrestâ her within her first day of being away.
Charlotte didnât tell anyone where she was going and used cash instead of cards to illuminate any kind of paper trail but that clearly hadnât been enough. She was not the type of person who scared easily and if wasnât for the visit from a dangerous looking stranger, she would have stayed and saw this entire thing through. Now she was stressing out in the backseat of the bounty hunterâs car, occasionally staring him down through the rearview mirror. Charlotte was certain he had come across people far more intimidating that her but she had to try, right? âAre the handcuffs necessary?â She complained and tried to moves her hands around within the constrains of the handcuffs, her wrists were starting to ache from being hand her back for so long.
That was only part of the series of complaints she had thrown his way, mixed in with several expletives and a handful of tearful pleas for him to just let her go. Charlotte was surprised when he actually pulled over when she asked for the bathroom although she expected him to take her somewhere she could use an actual toilet. âOw! Shit, donât drag me!â She fussed when he got her out the car.
Charlotte took in their surroundings, from what she could see given how dark it was. Even if she was going to try to run she wouldnât even know which direction to go in. Her eyes widened at the sight of the tiny wooden shack, she turned back to him. âYou expect me to go in a shit house?!â She didnât even need the bathroom, just a way out or a way to see another human being who could possibly get her out of this situation but there was no way she was going in there. âHow am I supposed to go with my hands behind my back? Canât you just take me to an actual bathroom, yâknowâŠwith running water?
shay knew that he could be ruthless. in his kind of work, he had to be. he taught himself to hold no emotion and to set blinders upon himself with one goal in mind: get the job done. of course, no job was ever easy. the handcuffs was used more for protocol than anything else- shay didnât fear anything going sideways if he had gotten them off of charlotteâs wrists. despite her protesting, shay looked at charlotte with an unamused face. shay waited a few moments before responding, needing the time to take a deep breath to keep himself levelheaded. âdid you really have to go, or did you just want to waste both our time?â shay was quick to assume that the latter was the answer. seeing the worst in people first was a bad habit that shay had gotten himself into over the years.
after some time had passed, shay could at least start to see how unreasonable it was to keep the handcuffs on while they had to go to the bathroom (and shay wasnât about to be one of those bounty hunters that went that âextra mileâ to make sure the cuffs always stayed on, no matter what), his hand started digging underneath his shirt for the key chain that he had attached to one of his belt loops. shay walked closer to charlotte and went to stand behind her as he used one of the keys to unlock the cuffs that he had her on, unlocking them and hanging onto them after they had gotten off. ânever heard of the saying of never judging a book by itâs cover?â shay had used his fair use of shacks during all his time while being on the road. some - admittedly - werenât pleasant at all. but some, for the most part, still carried the essentials which is all that mattered to shay.
shay took the time to stand back in front of charlotte once more, taking a quick glance over to his truck before keeping his eyes trained on her yet again. taking his eyes off of the package was the first no-no rule of bounty hunting. even during such delicate moments like so. âi might have some napkins from a fast food place i went to before if itâs missing toilet paper.â he offered, saying what he could think of so that they could get back into his car and get back on the road. he had so many days to get her where she needed to be and time wasnât on their side. shay didnât want to miss a pay off and have his reputation ruined at the same time. âitâs gonna be a few more hours on the road until we stop at a motel for the night. iâm not gonna be stopping again.â

Would you ever turn me?
If Avery had asked Selena that question when she was first turned then her answer would have been much different and it would have come to her a lot faster than it did right then. She was resting in the bed beside Avery, her head slowly turning on the pillow to look at the other. âNo,â Her voice was quiet but her tone was firm and final. Selenaâs maker had given her a new life when death had been her other option, they had made a decision for her that couldnât be undone and saved her life. A debt that could never be repaid. Then she had to watch as each member of her immediate family lived out their natural lifespans and passed on, none of them willing to take up her offer of immortality. Even to this date, Selena still had living relatives that she could not interact with for their own wellbeing. Despite all the benefits being a vampire could be awfully lonely, especially for someone like Selena who was very much a family person in her human life which is why she chose to join a coven (a family, even) of other likeminded vampires.
She could see Averyâs reasoning for asking such a question, it wasnât the first time either and she was sure it wouldnât be the last. Selena had made the decision to tell Avery about what she was and prepared herself for the explosive reaction, aftermath of waiting for her to be ready to talk and now the question part of it. âWhat do you think about vampires now that you know the truth about me?â Selena asked Avery. She had heard all kinds of words and names be tied to vampirism, none of them good, so she wanted to know what Avery thought about it. Now that her approach was much calmer than the last time they saw each other, she wanted to be able to gage whatever was on her mind.
avery wasnât sure what answer to expect from selena, however, it did stung somewhat to hear her say no. with such a tenacious emphasis, too. avery didnât pout, though- she could easily understand where selenaâs mentality was at behind her reasoning. it was an answer that could very well change throughout time, and this most likely wouldnât the be the final time that avery would bring the subject up. âdonât even want to take a minute to think about it, huh?â even though selena hadnât answered right away, avery couldnât help but notice that it didnât take long for selena to give a response. maybe that was because - deep down - it wasnât the answer that she was looking for.
all this time, avery felt as if she was living life as a naive barista. upon knowing that there was this secret world that was living side-by-side with her own, it had opened her eyes to all these things that she could be missing out on. she didnât want to grow old and regret things that she had missed out on. thatâs why she told herself she shouldnât be scared of selena, but she rather embrace her. if it bites her in the end (no pun intended), then so be it. but maybe being with selena would be one of the best things to ever walk into her life. at the other girlâs question, avery made a raspberry noise as she took her hand away from selenaâs chest and put it upon her own head, weaving her hand through her hair. âwhere do i even begin? iâve got a million and one questions.â all which she hoped would be answered in due time. after a brief pause, avery searched for selenaâs eyes before responding with, âi think... it doesnât matter what you are. i still care deeply about you, and i donât want us âcoming from different worldsâ be a reason as to why we canât be together.â air quotes were made to get averyâs point across. whether it was unfortunate or the exact opposite, not having selena in her life was a bigger fear of averyâs then the danger of what her life could bring to avery. it didnât take long before doubt had creeped into averyâs mind and she felt her stomach tighten as she then asked, âor am i alone in feeling that way?â
pruricntâ:
cities and forests quickly passed by camelâs window. children slept while their parents drank, laughed and celebrated the end of the season. they did this completely ignorant to the fact that this was now a part of his life. all the murder, the hunger, and the fear were now pieces of him until death. he watched as the scenery passed while he mindlessly swirled the glass of whiskey he had poured over an hour ago but forgotten even existed because the moment he sat down and tried to relax he got sucked into his thoughts. he specifically couldnât stop thinking of the way yuliannaâs knife felt when it was pressed to his throat and the betrayal he felt the moment she reacted. admittedly he wasnât too sure what was worse, the fact that she had turned on him the moment she could or the fact that he would have willingly given his life for hers.
âit feels weird to not be sleeping with a knife clutched to my chestâŠâ her voice pulled him from his thoughts. camel blinked harshly to shake the feeling of disorientation before he finally turned in his chair and looked at her. âyou didnât take one from the dinner table?â he wondered, his voice almost verging on surprised because it was the very first thing he had done when they laid out such a ridiculously large celebration spread for them to partake in. âwellâŠâ he sighed âwant to borrow mine?â it was at this moment that his eyes passed over the glass of whiskey and reminded him that he even poured it so he lifted it to his mouth and took a long drink.
it was almost sad to admit that, even though she had a knife to his throat just hours ago, he was relieved by her presence. at this point in time she was the only one, besides the little sister heâd left back home, that he felt like he could actually speak to. the people from the capital treated him as if he wasnât human and those who watched reacted to him as if he was a celebrity instead of a trauma survivor. yulianna knew him, she saw him for what he was and that was something he appreciated about her even when the rest of his emotions towards her were confusing. âbe my guest.â with that he turned back around in his seat to face the window and the world passing by it.Â
this was the first time, since being in that arena, that they were alone together yet again. the celebrations were filled with people who sent more congratulations their way instead of space. it hadnât quite hit yuliana yet that she had killed people to be... what? standing inside a comfortable train cabin? it was going to catch up to her, eventually, when she would least expect it. she just hoped she wasnât alone when that time would come; there was no one else there, except camel, who would understand what yuliana had just gone through.Â
yuliana was obviously tight roping around the fact that she had been seconds away from slicing camelâs neck open. she was also avoiding giving a reason as to why she didnât do it right away. yuliana was thankful enough when camel didnât bring it up right away, either, when he had seen her. instead, he comforted her with a sense of humor that she had gotten used to. her face trained in thought as her eyes glanced around the confides of his cabin, wondering where he stashed his own collection of knives. âi thought they were going to pat me down afterward; now iâm kicking myself that they didnât.â yuliana walked further inside the room once it was clear that her presence was welcomed. her foot tapped cautiously at the floor paneling, feeling out of one of them were loose enough to be tapped out of place, her first guess in where camel would have kept a knife from the rest of the train occupants.Â
âiâm looking forward to meeting your sister.â yuliana was desperate to avoid silence between them. camel was better at internalizing than she was, and she would keep talking until he quipped at her. but yuliana meant what she said; from the way he would speak about her, it was almost like meeting a celebrity. yuliana was raised as an only child by parents that had her later in their lives - a total and complete accident. they were older, fragile, and yuliana sometimes had to remind her dad who she was when he got that look in his eye. hopefully, during their reunion, it would be during one of his better days.Â
she forgone the empty chair that she had originally pointed out and moved to stand next to camel, looking out the same window that he was. yuliana only allowed it to be quiet for them for only a few seconds before she turned around and pressed her back to that same window, body turning to face camelâs. âi donât think iâm going to be able to fall asleep tonight,â she admitted with an exhausted sigh- one that was heavy enough that her shoulders completely slumped, âiâm going to look like such a mess in front of all those cameras. not that iâve looked better, but...â her words had trailed off and she canât help but notice the small scar that was on the inside of camelâs neck from the blade of her knife. it only made the guilt that was inside of her become a much tighter knot. she breathed out once again, a bit shaky this time around. âyou were always better at that stuff than i was. maybe iâll have you do all the talking for the two of us.â
atvrvxiaâ:
âOH YEAH, iâll leave a five-star review like itâs yelp,â she teased. ââfive stars. always knew how to set the mood and willing to do it anywhereâ.â she liked this â liked how easy it was to talk to him and to tease him and be teased in return. others were usually too intimidated by her, but not cory. no; he was the only person willing to stand up to her and call her out on her shit and make fun of her without being mean. val welcome it; it made her feel like she was a normal teenager â a feeling she lacked because of her upbringing. âum no, and you can never force me to sit through high tea,â she rolled her eyes. âi do see her and prince phillip constantly and let me tell you: that lady looks at her man like he hung the moon and the stars and the sun.â and that was all she would say on the subject. val wasnât a believer in true love and soulmates, mainly because she figured she would spend the rest of her life alone before dying at the age of sixty or so due to a motorcycle incident or whatever dangerous shit she would get into. âwell, duh it is: kinky sex whenever you want, all the places you could dream of travelling too and just being an arm candy, in exchange for like, a few thousand a month? youâll be a fool to give it up,â she smirked, licking her lips when he inched closer to her. âoh stop being a tease, cory. you know iâd prefer the latter as a form of agreement. plusâŠâ she patted the hood of the car. âit also works as revenge on that stupid principal if we fuck on his car,â she grinned.Â
cory still wasnât sure how serious valentina was being- especially when their dynamic was filled with less serious undertones. all play, no work. besides, the kind of lifestyle that valentina was presenting sounded too good to ever be true. cory would keep up with the charade, because playing along with such a pipe dream was more pleasing than ignoring it. âoh, sign me up. iâm already sold.â cory finally closed off the rest of the space that was between them as he settled his way between her legs and put his hands on her waist. his smile grew as she patted at the hood of the car, agreeing with her words with just a look. âi think thatâs whatâs called a win/win.â cory couldnât keep up with the teasing and the subtle notions any longer. he wanted to finally be with valentina the way they commonly were. cory leaned his head in closer to capture valentinaâs lips with a deep kiss, hands already eagerly running themselves under and up her shirt.Â
lvciddreamtâ:
jori wasnât a fan of giving lectures, and they didnât come naturally to her, either. sheâd received very few from her parents, though thereâd been plenty from other adultsâteachers, counselors, you name it. she was generally the live and let live sort of person, preferring to just do her own thing and not really worry about anyone else. but the one thing jori really cared about was her powers. they made her special. they set her apart from all the other trashy, drug-riddled families sheâd been surrounded by growing up. and she didnât want anythingâor anyoneâto jeopardize that. she liked ella. but the girl could be a bit of a wild card, and while jori normally liked that about her, some things were just too important to let slide. but it seemed none of her words were getting through to the other girl. âi know youâre bullshitting me, but whatever.â jori rolled her eyes and sent ella a glare before lighting up a cigarette and taking a drag. âletâs just get this over with,â she declared, and, with the affect of someone going to the gallows for their own execution, led the way out the door.
the party was in full swing when they arrived, people gyrating to the music and drinks overflowing, joints being passed around from sticky hand to sticky hand. jori contemplated leaving ella to her own devices, the way she usually did, but not tonight. instead, she stuck to the girlâs side like a limpet, keeping a close watch on her and not letting her slip away. the party was so crazy, though, that jori knew there was a good chance ella would manage it at some point. still, jori had to try, didnât she? âdonât look now, but that creep from biology is eyeing you up,â she muttered, standing close to ella so she could hear her despite the noise.
ellaâs family was quite open with ella about her potential and had set the example for her on how she should use her powers. they were high profile figures in that town- they came from old money and gave very generous donations to help the town. they were respected, or feared, depending on how you looked at it. ellaâs eighteenth birthday was the happiest moment of her life - it was the day that her powers first manifested and she was able to indulge herself in the lifestyle that she was only able to watch from the sidelines before then. sure, she got a little excessive at times. even had a faint spell or two already when she had overdone it, but she was always back on her feet by the end of it and ready to keep going on. she really felt as if she had the entire world in the palm of her hand and, if she really wanted to, could crush it at any given moment.
ella and jori grew up together, having come from similar bloodlines. and with it only being a few weeks shy of ellaâs twenty third birthday, she was more than eager for her powers to reach their full potential. she wanted to celebrate these last days of pre-ascension with people that knew that understood the kind of fire that was brimming through ellaâs veins. it sometimes felt as if her power wanted to be constantly in use, to make itself known even more than ella had already used it. almost as if it had a life of itâs own. but ella was too blinded by how much she enjoyed the intoxicating feeling of controlling things around her to think it was doing any actual damage to herself, or others for that matter. ella had caught joriâs judgmental look on more than one occasion, and ella would always try to get that frown turned upside down. they were witches, for crying out loud. why didnât she want to flaunt that as much as ella did?
a look of excitement shined bright across ellaâs features as they walked up to the forest party. it was filled with college students and residents that had a hard time getting out of that old town. too many familiar faces for ellaâs liking, but at least the alcohol and drugs were never a let down. âeveryone eyes me up, jori. thatâs what happens when you wear a push up bra and short skirts.â ella didnât even need the warning because she never wanted to look in his direction. as much as ella liked the attention, his was always more creeping than anything else. he seemed to take looking at her like a piece of meat to another level. ellaâs careful as she bent down and got two cans of beers and offered one to her friend. âare you going to let tonight be the night where i finally play wingwoman and find you a cutie to take to the backseat of their car?â there was always a selfish reason behind ellaâs intentions; she didnât want to have jori stuck to her side the entire night. the sooner she got her attention onto somebody else, the sooner ella could break off and find her own source of entertainment. she loved the girl, donât get her wrong, but she pretty much attended parties for a few specific reasons. âyouâre a witch, bitch. you can literally have any of these losers throwing themselves at your feet with just a flick of the wrist.â

growing up, cass wasnât really the type to demand attention from others or push to be in front of the camera. sure, she was sociable but that was more or less to garner information from people rather than gain popularity or get out in front. however, when campbell had to come to her with the idea to start a series investigating so-called âhauntedâ places, she couldnât really refuse the chance to go coast to coast investigating what others had left behind. she was still mostly a skeptic after all their time on the road, but their newest location was all but promised to be the biggest test of her faith. she watched as campbell surveyed their surroundings inside, eyebrows raising even as he turned his camera back towards her. âwell, i doubt theyâd have decapitated heads or giant knives in the front room, campbell.âÂ
giving him time to get in, cassandra hoisted the duffel over her shoulder before wedging herself through the small gap after him, a grunt of pain and effort being shoved out of her at the tight fit before she finally made it in. âyâknow, if you can find the money for it, iâm more than happy to hire someone whoâll bust down the doors for your precious shoulder.â she canât help but smile though as he films the interior, unzipping one of the duffelâs compartments so she could grab a flashlight and lower the bag to the floor. her beam was a little bit wider than the spotlight on the cameraâs, giving her a little more sight as she surveyed the areas he wasnât looking at.Â
âwell, like i said, i donât think weâll see much up here. as far as i could find, there wasnât a final incident that closed fazbearâs down. more that they closed and never opened againâŠ..we could check over by the stage? thatâs where all the animatronics used to sit.â she turned her flashlight towards the stage (from what she could remember of the floor plan) but the light couldnât quite reach so she started towards it. some called her blind bravery a reckless habit, but cass would take that over cowardly any day. âif you want to get any more b-roll, i think thereâs a cake left out on this tableâ i canât really tell with all the cobwebs on top of it.â as she got closer, though, cass saw that the stage was empty, a shiver running down her back despite herself. âthereâs nothing up hereâŠ.. do you think they moved it before they closed?â
even though campbell typically left the investigating and the smart stuff to cass, he couldnât help himself look up what he could find about the retired franchise before their drive up there. he had heard about, in passing, of a childrenâs place that was haunted by the dead souls that lived inside the machines. one source, who they werenât such was as credible as insane as he sounded, swore that when he worked security during the night shift at the place that he would see the animatronics move. it was a bit wild than what they were used to- they had tackled on creepy cementaries and former witch towns but nothing that was as far out as spirits and possession. if this was nothing but a false lead, campbell could already hear cassandraâs voice filling the entire car ride back with a million âi told you soâsâ.Â
âafter the revenue weâre going to be making off this episode, we might be able to afford muscle and name brand cereal.â always the optimistic- itâs part of what worked between their team. campbell and cassandra came from different points of views which led to their episodes to be less unbiased and more up to the audience to decide on what they believed in. they each had their own names for their fans, too. campbellâs soups. it was lame, and definitely thought of by himself, but he loved giving shout outs to his âsoup gangâ when referring to them.Â
campbell took his time recording, soon moving closer towards where the rows of lengthy tables were to film the fossilized birthday cake that cass had mentioned. campbell couldnât help himself from letting out a small, squeamish sound as he caught a cockroach crawling out from the inside and walking across the table. cassâ voice caught campbell attention as he turned to his side where the stage was - it was the main focal point of that room where kids - and parents - would sit at the lengthy tables that occupied the rest of the space of the room. the room used to be filled with laughter, hands clapping, and kidz bop-like music that probably had lyrics about eating too much pizza.Â
within a matter of steps, campbell was soon standing behind cass, seeing what she was seeing. an empty stage. it was hard to tell but he swore he could see dust marks on three specific sections on the stage- almost as if something was there before but had been moved recently. âtheyâre probably just walking around, stretching out their little mechanical legs.â campbell attempted with light humor as he looked at cass through the monitor of the camera. the grin that was on his face proved that he was thoroughly humored by himself. âthat security guard said there would be a lot of activity in the room heâd be posted at. why donât we check out there next? maybe weâll get lucky and the cameras will still work.â it was an obvious long shot but they were already in a wild situation, so he kept up with the theme by naming out a ludicrous idea.

if neve had been the sort of person that, before the end of things, was indecisive, it had always been in the most innocuous of circumstances. she would sometimes waffle between restaurant choices, take too long before pulling the trigger on a jacket or a pair of sneakers, or not buy that carton of ice cream only to wish she had when she got home. in the most serious of circumstances, she was able to make the tough calls. that was only galvanized by her job as a nurse in the emergency department. and, with ariel, the two of them had only grown in their decisiveness together. some choices could be too heavy to carry on onesâ own shoulders, but shared between the two of them, any guilt could be managed.Â
letting out a long sigh, she ran her fingers through her hair. âi wish it didnât have to be like this.â but that was just a trite dream and it made her feel childish to vocalize it. things were the way they were and food was scarce. she doesnât say that at least with danny gone, thereâs one less mouth to feed. âmaybe we can spend a longer time on the supply run. if we can find a good cache of canned goods, it might raise some of the morale.â though it wouldnât bring spirits up as high as dannyâs death would plummet them. even among the least popular members of their group, death carried a different weight. it didnât matter if it came for someone no one liked; each death was a threat and a reminder that they were all living on borrowed time. âyouâre right.â she nodded to him, clenching her teeth. tension was an insidious intruder to her jaw and sheâs often clench her teeth when she was stressed without even realizing she was doing it until her jaw ached later.Â
she mimics him as he takes out his gun. before this, sheâd never been fond of gunsâeven as she owned one herself. a gun that she still had in her possession and reached for to check in solidarity with ariel. the .357 magnum was cold in her hands and, she found, mostly full except for one missing bullet that she hadnât reloaded since her last run. as he spoke, she reached out to squeeze his hand and offered him a stoic smile, brows knitted together with a softness that she shared with few people. âthank you, ariel. i know weâve been through a lot, but i canât tell you how much it means to me to have someone i can depend on.â in an apocalypse or even before, she hadnât had someone so stalwart in her life and she was grateful. âitâs a terrible call to make, but youâre rightâwe canât risk everyone else just to give him a little extra time. particularly, since heâs shown he canât be trusted to self-regulate.â meaning that he was a coward who was more interested in prolonging his own life at the risk of everyone else around him. âiâll meet you there.â
TIME SKIP!
it had been surprisingly easy for ariel to turn off his moral compass and turn back on his solider mentality. he was given a mission and he had to see it through. convincing danny to go back into the field so soon after coming back with an injury wasnât that hard when ariel kept stressing how good of a finder he was. ariel didnât realize until he let danny walk ahead of him, limping, did ariel realize the giant lump that had formed in the back of his throat.
as commanded, the two males met neve where they had agreed upon hours prior. dawn was beginning to rise over the horizon, glowing abandoned roads and overgrowing plains with orange and yellow hues. ariel could see dannyâs head turn, attempting to look behind them as if expecting more to join them, but the curly haired man grasped the nape of the otherâs neck, forcing his head back ahead, trying to keep the simple task of walking ahead at hand before suspicions arose. they group typically only traveled in groups of four or more- typically even numbers, so that everyone had someone covering their back. danny never once questioned that it would be just the three of them- and why would he? his faith, and trust, in ariel and neve was what was making this easier.
the town felt eerily quiet - the quiet itâs ever been - as they approached it. almost as if the rest of world knew what the two of them had planned and was holding their breath, waiting for it to happen. they were ways away from camp- far enough where they couldnât be seen, and where gunfire couldnât be heard. as second nature by this point, ariel was on high alert when he was outside the camp. even if it was a town that they had ravaged handful of times before. things managed to find their way; they had no rhyme or reason on how they migrated. because of this, ariel always had his hand right near his gun, ready to draw at a momentâs notice.
there was a certain point where danny, himself, was visibly struggling. limping had transformed into continuous pauses for breaks- gasping for air like it was deflating from his lungs by the second. and he was sweating when the sun hadnât even fully risen by that point. between pants of breath he expressed how tired he was- how they should turn back. ariel allowed himself to finally walk ahead instead of behind the pack where he preferred to be. he looked at neve after eyeing how out of shape their comrade had become. heâs waiting for another command- whether it be silent or loud. he made sure to still have danny visible in the corner of his eye, never quite keeping him out of sight, with arielâs fingers drawing that much closer to his weapon.

losing a member of the team would make things more difficult. it wasnât like it was the two of them on their own. surely, they would survive if that was the case, but they had a large group of people who depended on them to figure out the hard stuff. veronica quickly shook her head, taking his hand, â itâs not a waste⊠you were just doing your job, and i would probably do the same thing if i was in youâre position. you were just helping him. â wasting supplies on someone who was dying seemed unreasonable to anyone, but it was human of him. they had to remember what they were fighting to protect in the first place. it would be worth it if the medicine eased his pain and kept him alive a little longer. decisions like this were never easy so she was glad to have him by her said. even though she was making the call; she knew that it was easier to make harder ones with him there. this was one of those harder ones. sighing before she sat up to look at him. â honestly, no⊠â it was sweet that he was asking considering veronica nearly lost it the last time they lost someone. she had grown more attached than she had realized. it just brought back memories of her son that she wasnât ready to face yet. the best way she processed things was that this was a really long dream and one day she will wake up and have thiago back in her arms. that was her goal. to get herself to wake up from this. â but i need to do it. to at least say goodbye⊠itâs the least i owe to him. â she already felt herself welling up with emotions as she stood up. â letâs go. â ready to follow his lead.  Â
ariel looked down at their touching hands. such a small act of kindness spoke volumes- you didnât see that kind of kindness in the world anymore. people were defensive first before anything else. ariel took in veronicaâs words and let them sink in, believing them. even ariel had to be reminded that he was doing more good than harm, because he tended to think the latter of himself. he gave veronicaâs hand a squeezed, expressing the comfort right back. âi know heâd really appreciate that. everyone has the utmost respect for you here.â there was no way to sugarcoat things anymore from there; the only way to swallow the hard pill was by biting the bullet. arielâs head hung a little lower as he dropped his grasp from veronicaâs hand and led her to where their medic unit was. it wasnât much, but it was something for whenever one of their people needed medical attention. luckily, it wasnât used that often. this happened to be one of the worse cases. ariel watched veronica as they entered the room, already danny was stirring from a pained sleep- either the painkillers that ariel gave werenât strong enough or the infection was spreading faster than expected. ariel, as a precaution, wrapped his hand around the handle of his gun that was tucked inside his waistband, prepared to draw if things went south real fast. ariel made sure he stood between veronica and danny, wanting to be the buffer between both bodies. his head craned as he got closer, making sure he didnât see any severe symptoms (yellow eyes, rabies, etc.). when that was cleared from arielâs discretion, he looked back at veronica and gave her a nod of approval before putting his free hand against dannyâs shoulder, gently nudging him further awkward. âhey, buddy. somebodyâs here to see you...â

SHE SNORTED when he said he was banned from tinder. âoh gee, i wonder why you would be banned?â she questioned with a fake smile. though she was burning with curiosity, she was still too mad at him and his attitude with the producer to care. really, canât it hurt him to play nice, even if it was to be fake? âi am not going to find some girl on tinder for you. i donât even have tinder because iâm not that desperate to get laid,â serena continued on. not that she had a problem getting laid⊠for the most part. she would blame it all on the weird hours her job demanded of her. but she did manage to sneak a lay in on her day off or if she managed to get off work early enough some days. âiâll take my chances. you deserve to suffer, so have fun with those blue balls of yours.â when he suggested that she too grabbed a cigarette since she looked like she needed it, she didnât need to be told twice. she grabbed one from her own stash, sticking the stick between her lips and lighting it up, inhaling before exhaling from the corner of her mouth. âseriously, canât it hurt to fake being nice?â she found herself asking.Â
âitâs not desperation, itâs the accessibility.â which is really what is was- back when christian was still in the boy band that brought into into fame, girls would literally throw themselves at him and, if that wasnât the case, then his agent was sending girls his way. he went from having everything without having to ask for it and now, after going solo and being out of that type of limelight, was still trying to transition to a new kind of fame. christian went from having a whole team catering to his every need to there being just serena. and she, for sure, was a lot more modest and reprimanding than what he was used to. when serena questioned if faking being nice would hurt, christian gave her a look. with his lit cigarette in one hand, christian grab serenaâs own in an uncharacteristic tender fashion before saying, âserena, i am so thankful for everything that you do.â christian let the compliment stay in the air for a few seconds before christian suddenly clutched his chest and his face twisted in pain. âow, ow. it hurts!â and still ever so the drama queen. christian faked the injury for a moment before laughing it off, shaking his head as he took another hit from his cigarette. âbut for real though, i know youâre a machine and all, but you could use the de-stressing. do you even date?â christian questioned as the cigarette hung from his lips, a curious eyebrow raising as he watched her. âi feel like you telling guys that you work for a b-list celebrity would be a great pick up line.â
