i think it’s time to officially lay this blog to rest... I just don’t have the passion or desire to post and reblog like I used to. Anne with an E introduced me to so many new perspectives and taught me amazing lessons that I’ll carry throughout my life, and it will always have a special place in my heart, but I think I’ve gotten past the point where I’m completely obsessed with it. I won’t delete this blog just in case anyone wants to look through it in the future, but as of today I will be permanently inactive...

didn’t even intentionally start watching this show and here we are

so I’ve been thinking about something for a few months now but never really typed it out. if you guys remember the last few minutes of the series finale were full of a lot of good things happening at once (Anne getting the book from her parents, Diana getting to go to college with Anne, etc). there was a post or a comment that someone made that was something along the lines of “they must’ve ended it this way bc they knew it was gonna be the last season and were tying up ends quickly”. But that made me think, obviously the episode was filmed months prior to the cast actually finding out that there wasn’t going to be a 4th season, so why the sort of choppy seemingly happy-go-lucky ending? Did the producers and writers think that it wouldn’t make it another season before they even finished making the 3rd season? Surely it couldn’t’ve been that with all of the unresolved plots, like jerry and diana’s relationship. Was it just bad writing? (This ended up l being reallllly long but that’s just something that’s been sitting in my head for a while.)

The AWAE cast was contracted for 4 seasons of Anne With An E and they freaking played them and cut it off last minute at season 3???? The more I learn about the situation the more I hate CBC and Netflix
