This blog represents my obsession with the bus and all its entertainment value. I believe that a sense of humor is essential when using public transportation on a regular basis. In that vein, I hop on the Metro every morning looking for odd , funny or weird things to share.

The amber alert system where most cell phones emit an annoying beep is great but when all those alerts went off at the same time it seems the Richter scale was triggered from all the bus riders jumping with surprise. #Anniemakesthebus!

The lady who sat across from me on the #27 had plans to take the Greyhound to Detroit for a short stay and then off to visit the President of Afghanistan. She's quite concerned about Beyonce's purported affair with President Obama. ‪#‎Anniemakesthebus‬!

I'd like to send out a request to all drivers and pedestrians in Seattle, Wa. Please do not surprise my bus driver. I think I just got rapid whiplash on the Rapid Ride.

The other night the dude next to me at the Third and Pike bus stop downtown had a snake around his neck and was  selling pills and crack to teenagers while dude on the other side  threw a hot dog at the bus and started screaming. It made me wanna get the hell outa there. But I still got my best post in months.

Had an unfortunate observation on the #14 this morning. A young gentleman with a haphazard matching magenta hair and eyebrow dye job also appeared to have a matching magenta bruise on his cheek

I was one of my actual observations last night as I dragged my sorry butt to Georgetown to continue drinking  in a state of multi-emotional breakdown.

No one interesting on the bus this morning. Maybe 7 am is too early for characters.

For the last few days I've been the most colorful and interesting person on the bus. Pretty disappointing.

Had to come back in the office and wait until the bus fare changes from "peak" to "off peak" since I am lacking a quarter.
