Illustration for “Raus Rein”
linocut: maya rituals
“The miracle of Gottsbüren”
a vignette for my medieval illumination comic about the absurd paths of religion.
This is the finishing page of my comic about the colonial school in Witzen-hausen, published in “Raus Rein”.
Back in the early thirties in germany: one shy, harassed guy drops out of school and emigrates to chile. While the bully, after being expelled from school, nevertheless writes his diploma and graduates from colonial school. He could have done better, but for his sacrificing work for the national socialistic movement.
Excerpt from my comic “Kameraden” (Comrades), published in “Raus Rein”.
I had a great time at Wels, Austria, doing a “feminist superheroines” workshop togehter with Isabell Rutz, Anastassia Schitz and Birgit Kellner at the mkh° in Wels. This is the Cover for the booklet we made, which will be published next week.
