Have you ever fainted?
Yes
Came close but didn't actually lose consciousness
No
This is a safe space for all of your fainting stories
When I was 14 I went to a friend's birthday party at a roller rink. I only drank soda and ate cheez-its before I left for said party. My mom and I skated around for a while before I felt kind of weird and I was getting really annoyed with her and some of my friends. I just assumed my period was starting and I needed to sit down and rest. So, I went to roll off the rink but I fell and someone rolled over my finger. My mom came and helped me up and I was being super pissy about my hurt finger, so she and I skated over to the concessions stand and she was telling me how much she didn't appreciate my attitude and said, "you look really pale. I swear to god, if you pass out..." and idk what she said next because I passed out.
Turns out I had a small seizure while I was passed out (the cheez-its provided me no nutrition, it seemed). I began to come to with a woman standing over me calling me Sara (my name is not sara) and telling me she was a nurse. I asked her who Sara was, and my mom told her that the on site paramedics were coming to help me and she could leave.
I was fine. Im still healthy. I passed out from dehydration and seized because of low blood sugar. My mom kept an eye on me over the next few days and now we laugh about this.
Drink water!! Especially if you live in a desert like AZ. Don't be fooled by winter, just because it's cool doesn't mean this still isnt the driest area in the US.
Forgot to mention: yes I passed out on roller skates. Yes my mom caught me. Yes she was also in roller skates. No I was not injured from the fall, my mom is actually goated with the sauce and was able to lower me to the ground and kind bystanders untied my skates and my mom was able to untie her own while the paramedics looked at me.

i wannalearn screenwriting and write a script for a show like meet yourself
like meet yourself but itâs set in himachal
Fade In is free screenwriting software I use. After 10 pages it'll give you an alert that you're using the demo version, but you just have to wait for the close button to activate and you can close it and keep going.
Its good software, but be sure to save frequently. It does have an autosave feature but it's pretty sporadic. It gives you the bare basics in screenwriting to make it easier. Let me know if you need any help using it!
Okay y'all real writer talk here, how do you weave in information about your character without them just straight up telling it to a different character? I mean it as in how does character A converse knowlegde about themselves to character B without it being like:
A: so my mother died when I was 4
B: really that's so sad, what happened?
A: she was murdered in a house fire.
B: omg!
I understand you can do it this way but i feel a bit like it's lacking depth? Lacking emotions maybe or something idk help?
It'll take time to get to that point. Not a lot of people are comfortable talking about lost loved ones, and people who are generally don't because its a bit taboo to bring up death so lightly in conversation.
Its like leaving breadcrumbs. If other people bring up their moms, this character will avoid talking about theirs. They'll either ask questions about other peoples moms when the conversation is brought up, or not join the conversation at all because they have nothing to provide or don't want to. This can greatly depend on when the mom died (if the character is an adult and their mom died when they were a toddler or a kid, they're probably mostly over it. If the mom died recently, its probably still very touchy).
If dead mom is important, then someone at some point will likely ask the character a question either because this character avoids mom talk, is very attached to an elder woman who can be a mom figure, or gets uncomfortable around other moms being moms or just mom talk on general. This is your allowance to lay it all out in the open. Either that, or the inquisitive character can see all these behaviors and piece them together themselves. Either that, or someone else can tell them. You have a lot of options, with genres giving you more avenues (can read the characters mind and find out, travel back in time and witness the death, etc.).
"Show don't tell" can be very hard, especially if you feel stuck. Be patient with yourself and your narrative, and you'll figure it out soon.
WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN ME???? WHY?????!!
reblog this and in the tags, write the band that comes to mind first when you think back to being 13 years old
H u h
YOURE 30???????
yeah I mean i've been posting on tumblr since 2011, I'm part of the geriatric tumblrinas
#you started blogging when I was 2
Theyre lying, people born in 2011 can't read and write (i do not want to believe someone born in 2011 is on tumblr because i was in jr high in 2011)
you can't be a disabled ally without also supporting homeless people and addicts like it's just not possible
unhoused and people struggling with substance abuse
but this yeah
no i mean addiction. gambling addiction and self harm addiction included. we don't have to avoid these words like they're a bad thing. the stigma will exist regardless, so if someone says "what, you support addicts?" instead of saying "i support people struggling with substance abuse" you can just say "yes." no caveats, yeah i support addicts. i support homeless people. i support homeless addicts. it's fine
I support people who are in a bad point in their lives. I support addicts, the homeless, and "crazy" people. The operative word in these situations is "people". People deserve love and understanding and a helping hand.
reblog to teleport your mutuals to a massive party when jkr dies

how many angry female cows could you fight bare handed do you think
Cows? Those big ones? Realistically probably about 400 before I'd start breaking a sweat.
Puki, you couldn't fight even ONE.
Source, I'm in a family of farmers and I work with cows like every time I have free time
He's built different
fyi if you're trying to use the fact that that rancid ass muskrat cunt is autistic to be like "oh he didn't know what he did was wrong" about the fact that he threw up a fucking nazi salute then you are one of the stupidest fucking cunts to walk the earth and since we're in a housing crisis you should start offering the massive amount of empty fucking space in your skull for rent
(signed, an autistic person)
It really goes to show how little people know about autism, or they simply have not met someone with autism.
Like, trust, every autistic person i know has an understanding of nazis and the salute. They know it isn't okay to do that.
Elon just sucks balls.

Write from the perspective of a favored toy of your childhood.
If future you met present you, what would you talk about? What would you think of each other?
Your hometown has mysteriously disappeared. As you stand looking where it once stood, what memories come to mind?
Youâre aging (spoiler alert). Write dual perspectives about one character who embraces that fact and one that rejects it.
You wake up in your childhood bedroom, magically a child yourself. You get to experience a Christmas as a kid again. Describe what youâve missed about this as an adult, even down to the smells.
Itâs been MANY years since youâve stopped aging. Youâve watched friends and family pass on, never letting yourself fall in love or get attached. You spot someone that you remember from your childhood, also unchanged. Who is it? Do you say anything to them?
Youâve just discovered you were switched at birth. What do you imagine the life you couldâve had was like?
Tell a true story about your childhood. The first one that comes to mind. Maybe even the one you donât think is even worth writing about at all.
Youâve spent decades running from the small town that labeled you a weird kid, but when you find an old yearbook and see your old self staring back at you, you realize youâve made a nightmare of the only person who understands you. Make amends with the younger version of yourself, you were just a child.
Every morning, you sit at the same desk, doing the same work, feeling your potential slowly wither away, but you convince yourself itâs fine. What would happen if you stopped telling yourself that this is all there is?
Write the day in the life of an inanimate object that feels it is not being used to its full potential.
Write your first break up from the other personâs perspective.
Your spouse is a writer and has been incredibly secretive about their current book. Itâs been published and as theyâve finally allowed you to read it, youâre slowly realizing this all sounds far too familiar.
You awake with your eyes closed, but you donât remember falling asleep. âIt wasnât your fault,â you hear a voice say. What do you see when you open your eyes?
A once famous person reflects on their career as they slowly being to feel they are being forgotten by the public.
