((Hey so uh... Hi? I'm still alive I guess??

I'm pretty sure I've been gone from this account for like a year or so and I'm super sorry if that worried anyone. I'm not even sure if anyone else is still here, but I figured I could at least check.

I'm not sure if I'll be fully back to doing rp here, I bet I missed a tone of important things during the YEAR I hadn't checked this account... I'll be grateful for a recap if anyone feels like giving me one. Assuming anyone is here, that is.

But yeah, I'm here, I'm alright, and even if I decide I won't fully come back to doing rp, I'll try to keep checking this account and answer any asks or DMs. I hope you're all alright too!))

Angus gets another letter, only it is written differently, same address though. "Angus. That is hopefully your name. I would like to invite you back, do not worry, Mal is out at the moment. It'll be just you and the creepy lady who told you to run." She meant that to be light hearted.

He slowly read the letter and hesitated for a moment. He wasn't sure if going back there was a good idea, but... His curiosity got the better of him pretty quickly, and he decided that one more visit couldn't possibly end too badly. He double-checked the address before carefully setting the letter aside and leaving his house.

She waits with the door open, she still can't leave after all. Her veil is off and she stands once she spots him. She looks a little tired but happy he came.

Once he notices her, he speeds up slightly and waves at her. "Uh... Hey, g'day," he says when he finally gets close enough to speak normally.

She smiles and waves back. "Hello, it is nice to meet you officially. And without pests." She holds out her hand.

He seems to hesitate for a second, but then reaches out and shakes her hand. "Yep, it's nice to meet ya too. And ta for givin' me a warnin' when I last visited."

She feels cold and slightly airy. "Of course. I didn't want someone else becoming a victim his misdeeds. Though don't blame Mal too much. He is working some things out."

He has a couple of questions, but decides not to bring them up for now. Instead, he nods. "Sure, I'm... not blamin' him for anythin'," he assures.

She raises a brow as she lets him inside. "Really? Most would have certainly held some sort of blame. But then again, that doesn't particularly seem to be your thing."

He shrugs slightly as he enters. "Well, he didn't really do anythin' bad to me," he points out.

He nods slightly. "Yet. Right. And... Can ya tell me what he was goin' to do?" he asks hesitantly. He figures it's something he should know just in case.

He takes a second to truly acknowledge the answer, and then nods. "...Right, ya don't need to explain anythin'," he assures. He's not sure if he wants to know how close Mal was to doing that during his last visit.

He stays quiet for a moment. "Do ya know how for how long is Mal goin' to be away now?" he asks eventually. Now that he knows what could possibly happen if he ran into him again, he feels like he should check.

"Right. Ta," he nods. He's not sure how long exactly that could take, but figures she knows the situation much better than him.

"Oh- No need to worry. They cannot seem to agree on a single thing. And Actor is out, shouldn't be back for maybe a day? In the least it's a day."

He nods again, more confidently this time. "That's reassurin'," he smiles. He pauses for a moment, clearly thinking about something. "...Can I ask ya a question?" he asks finally.

"So... When ya were warnin' me last time... Mal didn't look like he could see ya. Does he know ya're here?" he asks after a moment of hesitation.

"No. He doesn't. Dark knew, Actor didn't know at the time, but Mal was oblivious."

"Oh. Is there a reason he can't see ya?"

He nods. "Right. Makes sense."

He thinks for a moment, but ultimately shakes his head. "Nah, I reckon I don't have other questions."

"Great!" She clasps her hands together then takes his, leading him to the kitchen. "Since my drag of an ex is out, you are helping me make something."

He seems surprised, but follows her without a complaint. "...Sure. What are we makin'?

"I'm in the mood for something sweet, so likely cake. You don't have any allergies, do you?"

"Nope, none," he confirmed. "But I have to warn ya, I'm not too good at... bakin'."

"Don't worry I'm terrible at baking sweets. The goal here is to make something edible in the least."

He appears more confident upon hearing that. "Right. I can do that," he nods.

Celine smiles, "Good, go wash your hands and I'll pull out the ingredients."

"Sounds good," he confirms and quickly makes his way over to the sink.

Celine raids the pantry and cabinets, setting out the items they need.

Angus quickly washes his hands before joining her. "Do ya have a recipe for the cake?"

"Yes but I am not going to use it. If this is going to be a disaster, I want it to be a proper one."

He smiles and nods. "Right. So, where do we start?"

"Crack the eggs and put em in the bowl, I'm gonna try to wing it with measuring the flour."

He nods, taking the bowl and a couple of eggs. He cracks them into it and is pretty sure none of the eggshells fell into the bowl.

Celine has her own bowl and pours some flour in, having no idea if it's too much or not. She tosses some sugar in, hoping for the best.

He moves the egg bowl closer to her to show that he was done. He then glances into her bowl and nods. It looks about right, he thinks.

He takes it from her and tries to open it carefully enough to not make too much mess with it.

Celine goes to turn the oven on.

He places the open batter next to the two bowls. "Are we addin' it already?" he asks.

"Probably? I think you have more knowledge in this." Celine snorts.

He laughs before adding the batter to one of the bowls. "Oh, I can promise ya, I don't."

Celine grabs a pan and some milk. "Wonderful, I hope we don't burn the kitchen down." She half laughs.

He nods along. "Yep, I'm hopin' so too," he smiles. "...And if anythin' happens, I'm sure I can put out a little fire," he adds after a short pause.

He turns to look at it. He's... not sure if he should approach it.

*The Void door is friendly and welcoming. It might have a friend on the other side.*

Still a bit hesitant, he walks up to it and carefully tries to open it.

He tries to look inside. "Uhh... Is anybody there?" he calls out.

*There is a figure that appears to be sitting on the ground. You can’t actually tell, as their body seems to be almost entirely made up of ribbons. They are facing away from Angus.*

He doesn't fully go through the door. "Hey, can ya hear me?" he calls out to the figure, slightly waving his arm in an attempt to get their attention.

*The figure turns it’s head around. It appears to be wearing a frowning mask, similar to those used to symbolize Greek tragedy.*

He pauses for a moment, slightly surprised. "...Uh, g'day? Are ya okay?"

*The figure stares for a few seconds before standing up, now around 7 ft tall, and turning around fully, revealing two other heads, one with an angry mask on the other side of the sad one and a happy face in the middle.*

*The middle head appears to be the one talking.*

He's a bit startled at first, but smiles after a moment. "That's good to hear," he answers before deciding to introduce himself. "I'm Angus, how 'bout ya?"

*The figure seems to step a bit closer. Or slither. You can’t tell if it has feet.*

Nice to meet ya, Angus! People call me White Lie! Sometimes just Liar, but that’s angry face over here!

*It jerks it’s head toward the angry mask. It doesn’t seem to be conscious right now.*

He slowly nods. "Right. It's nice to meet ya, too," he says. For just a moment, he keeps looking at the angry mask, wondering if it'll move.

*The happy mask notices your glances.*

Oh, don’t worry about them! They’re not allowed to talk right now. Because we keep people HAPPY. HA HAhA.

*Like most things in the void, this creature appears to be crazy.*

He nods, figuring that it's best if he doesn't question that. "...Right. Makes sense," he adds despite not really understanding.

What are you doing here, anyway? No people have entered the void in the a very long time!

He shrugs. "I'm... not sure? The door appeared so I decided to open it," he admits.

Oh oho! The door actually appearing to someone again! I was pretty sure whatever god that decided to make this sick joke had finally abandoned us for the dirt!

*It laughs hysterically.*

Maybe I should have realized the opposite was true when everyone started changing! Some just a little bit…

*It motions to itself.*

Some drastically…

He nods despite feeling confused. "...Right. I, uh, was surprised to see the door, too."

Honestly, though, at least the Void changed for the better! There’s more animals that don’t want to eat you now!

"Oh, that's sweet!" he smiles, subconsciously looking around in an attempt to spot any of those.

*There seems to be something fluffy and a bit glittery to the left.*

He quickly notices it, and tries to point it out. "Is that one like that?" he asks, figuring he could never be too sure.

Oh, ye! They usually don’t go deeper into the Pitch Black, so out here is the best place to find them!

"...Do ya think it's safe to approach it?"

Well, they don’t really do much, so I’m sure you’ll be fine!

Slightly encouraged by that, he carefully steps fully into the void and starts to approach the thing.

*It’s breathing lightly, you can see the glittery substance sparkle as it does.*

He looks back at White Lie. "Is it sleepin'?" he asks, keeping his voice low just in case it was.

If it is, the better the opportunity to pet!

*The move their ribbons to look like a thumbs up. It looks like a thumbs up, at least.*

He nods and tries to gently touch the possibly-sleeping thing.

*It lifts it’s head immediately. It’s covered in fur and you can’t actually see it’s face. The fur has a :D pattern though.*

He briefly takes his hand back before trying to reach out again. "...Don't worry, I'm not tryin' to do anythin' to ya," he promises.

*It seems to stand up, stretching and then staring at Angus.*

"...Can I pet ya?" he asks, unsure if it understands him but figuring it won't hurt to try.

*It moves closer to him. I believe that is a yes.*

Encouraged by that, he finally touches its fur and carefully pets it.

*It seems happy.*

He smiles upon seeing its reaction and continues to pet it. "Aw, ya like this?"

*It does a happy tappy dance :> *

He chuckles before turning his head to look at White Lie again. "Are ya seein' this?"

*It nods.*

Yeah! Great job buddy!

He takes a second to truly acknowledge the answer, and then nods. "...Right, ya don't need to explain anythin'," he assures. He's not sure if he wants to know how close Mal was to doing that during his last visit.

She eyes him for a moment. "If you say so."

He stays quiet for a moment. "Do ya know how for how long is Mal goin' to be away now?" he asks eventually. Now that he knows what could possibly happen if he ran into him again, he feels like he should check.

"A while. Until Actor and Dark reach an agreement, he is gone. It's Actor you really need to worry about."

"Right. Ta," he nods. He's not sure how long exactly that could take, but figures she knows the situation much better than him.

"Oh- No need to worry. They cannot seem to agree on a single thing. And Actor is out, shouldn't be back for maybe a day? In the least it's a day."

He nods again, more confidently this time. "That's reassurin'," he smiles. He pauses for a moment, clearly thinking about something. "...Can I ask ya a question?" he asks finally.

"Go ahead." She nods, sitting in a nearby chair.

"So... When ya were warnin' me last time... Mal didn't look like he could see ya. Does he know ya're here?" he asks after a moment of hesitation.

"No. He doesn't. Dark knew, Actor didn't know at the time, but Mal was oblivious."

"Oh. Is there a reason he can't see ya?"

"I didn't want him to."

He nods. "Right. Makes sense."

"Is there anything else?"

He thinks for a moment, but ultimately shakes his head. "Nah, I reckon I don't have other questions."

"Great!" She clasps her hands together then takes his, leading him to the kitchen. "Since my drag of an ex is out, you are helping me make something."

He seems surprised, but follows her without a complaint. "...Sure. What are we makin'?

"I'm in the mood for something sweet, so likely cake. You don't have any allergies, do you?"

"Nope, none," he confirmed. "But I have to warn ya, I'm not too good at... bakin'."

"Don't worry I'm terrible at baking sweets. The goal here is to make something edible in the least."

He appears more confident upon hearing that. "Right. I can do that," he nods.

Celine smiles, "Good, go wash your hands and I'll pull out the ingredients."

"Sounds good," he confirms and quickly makes his way over to the sink.

Celine raids the pantry and cabinets, setting out the items they need.

Angus quickly washes his hands before joining her. "Do ya have a recipe for the cake?"

"Yes but I am not going to use it. If this is going to be a disaster, I want it to be a proper one."

He smiles and nods. "Right. So, where do we start?"

"Crack the eggs and put em in the bowl, I'm gonna try to wing it with measuring the flour."

He nods, taking the bowl and a couple of eggs. He cracks them into it and is pretty sure none of the eggshells fell into the bowl.

Celine has her own bowl and pours some flour in, having no idea if it's too much or not. She tosses some sugar in, hoping for the best.

He moves the egg bowl closer to her to show that he was done. He then glances into her bowl and nods. It looks about right, he thinks.

She hands him the batter to open.

He takes it from her and tries to open it carefully enough to not make too much mess with it.

*The Void door has appeared*

He turns to look at it. He's... not sure if he should approach it.

*The Void door is friendly and welcoming. It might have a friend on the other side.*

Still a bit hesitant, he walks up to it and carefully tries to open it.

*It opens slowly, creaking slightly.*

He tries to look inside. "Uhh... Is anybody there?" he calls out.

*There is a figure that appears to be sitting on the ground. You can’t actually tell, as their body seems to be almost entirely made up of ribbons. They are facing away from Angus.*

He doesn't fully go through the door. "Hey, can ya hear me?" he calls out to the figure, slightly waving his arm in an attempt to get their attention.

*The figure turns it’s head around. It appears to be wearing a frowning mask, similar to those used to symbolize Greek tragedy.*

He pauses for a moment, slightly surprised. "...Uh, g'day? Are ya okay?"

*The figure stares for a few seconds before standing up, now around 7 ft tall, and turning around fully, revealing two other heads, one with an angry mask on the other side of the sad one and a happy face in the middle.*

I’m doing just fine, thanks!

*The middle head appears to be the one talking.*

He's a bit startled at first, but smiles after a moment. "That's good to hear," he answers before deciding to introduce himself. "I'm Angus, how 'bout ya?"

*The figure seems to step a bit closer. Or slither. You can’t tell if it has feet.*

Nice to meet ya, Angus! People call me White Lie! Sometimes just Liar, but that’s angry face over here!

*It jerks it’s head toward the angry mask. It doesn’t seem to be conscious right now.*

He slowly nods. "Right. It's nice to meet ya, too," he says. For just a moment, he keeps looking at the angry mask, wondering if it'll move.

*The happy mask notices your glances.*

Oh, don’t worry about them! They’re not allowed to talk right now. Because we keep people HAPPY. HA HAhA.

*Like most things in the void, this creature appears to be crazy.*

He nods, figuring that it's best if he doesn't question that. "...Right. Makes sense," he adds despite not really understanding.

What are you doing here, anyway? No people have entered the void in the a very long time!

He shrugs. "I'm... not sure? The door appeared so I decided to open it," he admits.

Oh oho! The door actually appearing to someone again! I was pretty sure whatever god that decided to make this sick joke had finally abandoned us for the dirt!

*It laughs hysterically.*

Maybe I should have realized the opposite was true when everyone started changing! Some just a little bit…

*It motions to itself.*

Some drastically…

He nods despite feeling confused. "...Right. I, uh, was surprised to see the door, too."

Honestly, though, at least the Void changed for the better! There’s more animals that don’t want to eat you now!

"Oh, that's sweet!" he smiles, subconsciously looking around in an attempt to spot any of those.

*There seems to be something fluffy and a bit glittery to the left.*

He quickly notices it, and tries to point it out. "Is that one like that?" he asks, figuring he could never be too sure.

Oh, ye! They usually don’t go deeper into the Pitch Black, so out here is the best place to find them!

"...Do ya think it's safe to approach it?"

Well, they don’t really do much, so I’m sure you’ll be fine!

Slightly encouraged by that, he carefully steps fully into the void and starts to approach the thing.
