He shrugs his coat off and lies on his bed, letting the popcorn ceiling blur together.

… There’s nothing wrong with being gay; he has gay friends! Just, Kaito didn’t think he was gay, and going on a date with another man felt strange. Being gay wasn't strange! Shuichi wasn't strange!!

Kaito runs a hand down his face, sighing to himself.

Maybe it wouldn’t be that bad. Korekiyo is kind of… his type? Long hair, scary, murder in the eyes, he can definitely get behind this, even if it’ll be just for tonight. He’s not gay, one date doesn't make you gay.

Kaito’s eyes fly open, slightly panicked because does thinking about kissing your best friend make you gay?!
