TF AU - Uncanny Cold Constructs

What if cold constructs give the uncanny valley feeling to other Cybertronians.

Their frames are mech-made, after all. Even though they are designed to look like a normal Cybertronian, a perfectly designed a Cybertronian, maybe, there is just something… off about them.

Their movements are either not as fluid as a forged mech or way too fluid to be a forged mech. Their face is too uniform, symmetrical to the upmost degree and shared with others of their make and model. Their voice sounds synthetic and their personalities and interests solely range within the area they were programmed.

They’re called drones but even drones don’t look much like a mech nor do they act like one; a hollow shell that does what it is told and programmed to do. Cold constructs are much the same, but their spark influences them just enough to be different… something more like a mech but not quite hitting the bar.

To be near one can send chills down the spinal strut and force plating to unconsciously flare to look more intimidating.

Their EM field is controlled and apathetic, even when they look like they are having the time of their life or angry at the world. Their frame looks Cybertronian but is too thinly built in some places or the joints are connected strangely. The digits are too long and the knee joints aren’t supposed to be that flexible.

They are Cybertronian but they don’t feel like it.
