Hey, long time, no see

I’m surprised this site is still remotely active... Looking at my home dashboard is pretty depressing, though, because it’s mostly recommended posts because most accounts I follow have left; it’s like walking through a ghost town: empty, lonely, and dead. Being on this site again makes me feel emotionally drained, mentally exhausted, and just empty inside. I guess I never said a formal “goodbye” when I left, but I found myself back here, somehow, so I guess I can say it now. Goodbye, my friends, if anyone is even reading this. I might pop back in from time to time, but I moved to Twitter. Find me at @Anon73881958. I know that Twitter handle is a bit of a bitch to type out, but Twitter auto-generated it for me, and I cannot change it, so sorry.

Last I checked, things were going well on this app before you stuck your empty skulls up your asses, @staff. If anything, you just made Tumblr a much more hostile place. I get that you want to remove porn bots, but collective punishment solves nothing; you’d think that you learned that lesson back in grade school. Even if you do manage to somehow take down porn from this site, similar to taking down a gang boss, there’ll be a power vacuum on this app, and another problem will just fill the shoes of the NSFW accounts. Did you guys seriously not think about that?! Your visions of a safe, positive app are too near-sighted for you to see why this will come back to bite you in the ass if you follow through with this plan. Like it or not, porn is a pillar of this site, and taking it down means 2 things can happen:

1. The site collapses

2. A new pillar must take its place.

If the latter happens, something tells me that the new pillar will be hostile and/or even more problematic. Just call it a hunch.

Please reblog this because I haven’t seen anybody else addressing the power vaccuum issue, and I want to draw attention to it.

(I apologize if my train of thought was all over the place; this post was just me having mental diarrhea and venting while making a point)
