SN2ED DAY 1
Hello I am starting to study for the MCAT today, I am registered to take it on January 13th. I am scared and excited. I know I am going to learn more about myself from preparing for this exam.
How confusing is Berkeley Review going to be?
Am I going to get through the first day?
Will I be okay?!
This blog should be "neurotic premed"

I hope you enjoy it.
Goody Study Buddy!
Also
I'm wondering if I tried to be perfect if I could or would I go crazy? Perfect as it actually stick to my study schedule, cook my meals, workout, look presentable at school, etc...
Wondering if this was the right decision
Is ochem lab really this hard or did I get stuck with a really, really bad teacher. She doesn't "teach" anything. We have to go off the lab manual.
ruined?
This day had some ups and downs.
Up: Eye appointment went well and now I have an updated prescription for some cheap, fashionable frames.
Down: Having my eyes dilated. Struggling with opening a door and hearing a student loudly make fun of me push instead of pull.
Down: Keeping down the giant knots of anxiety over telling my research team I am leaving for a semester to take classes at a smaller school at home.
So much hinges on the upcoming semester; I absolutely HAVE to do well in ochem 2. If I don't get an A, the move home and giving up the research lab was for nothing.
goals for spring semester
Reflecting on some of my shortcomings last semester, these are my goals for winter/spring 2014 and beyond:
Sleep eight hours every night and establish a routine sleeping time. Last year I would sleep anywhere from 5 to twelve hours and also work in hour-plus long naps when I could. I was greedy for sleep.
Exercise six days every week.
Read before lecture and work on homework problems in both organic and physics every day. Not eight hours every three days. I want to spend 2 hours working on physics and the rest of my study time on organic.
Be more cheerful.
Eat less or eliminate flour and sugar from my diet.
