guys guys my ochem prof opened today with “today’s trivia: who’s birthday is it today?” and looked directly at me and I was like “omg it’s patrick stump?!” and he was like “yes!! as soon as I saw it was his birthday, I knew I had to bring it up to you” LOL I win.

Basic Isomer Divisions
-- Isomers can be broken down into constitutional isomers and stereoisomers
-- Stereoisomers can be broken down further into enantiomers and diastereomers
-- Isomers = different compounds with the same molecular formula
-- Constitutional isomers = same formula, different connections
-- Enantiomers = mirror images
-- Diastereomers = some but not all chiral centers change
