this is a civil war. i’m not on social media a lot these days, but the one thing i really need everyone to understand is that the federal government sent people here to kill and kidnap minnesotans. i know why people are only upset when white citizens die, but i really wish people were seeing the bigger picture here. it’s a war. stop calling them protesters, most of them are taking an active role in defending the lives of their neighbors. and they are obviously right to do so!

hey, so take a couple deep breaths. everything is going to be fine and also you don’t have to be perfect. it’s not possible and that’s okay. there was a general trend of white women shielding themselves from taking responsibility for their own racist tendencies by claiming that they were just a little strange and out of the loop so they didn’t know better. this has been a thing for such a long time.

in the post where i mentioned this in the tags i also said that despite that trend toward fascism i think there is some benefit to being a little weird and disconnected from social norms if it allows you to get through social deterrents like not knowing when it’s okay to text someone.

tldr; take ownership of your mistakes when they hurt people, don’t worry so much about whether or not you’re allowed to have connection with other people.
