A Bit of a Rant: The Narrative does not allow Marinette to win...

Warning: Season 5 spoilers

People have been complain - very understandably - by the events of season 5 finale (Adrien/Chat Noir not present, mainly), but there is a thing that I feel people miss and probably will disagree but...

Marinette is not allowed for have a win by the narrative.

She was not allowed to be one to tell that she loves Adrien -> Andre The Ice Cream Man is the one who tells Chat Noir....

She was not allowed to punish Felix for essentially selling the Kwamis for slavery to Monarch -> Instead the narrative forces her to accept that he will keep Duusu, despite Felix's crimes and his lack of remorse...

She was not allowed to be the one to expose Lila's lies -> She was only able to expose Lila because Sabrina told her about Lila and Chloe's sabotage plan. If Sabrina kept quiet, Marinette's reputation and school record would have been destroyed with her classmates really thinking that she would sabotage their futures....

She was not allowed to defeat Monarch -> she tried offer Gabriel mercy (as the Ideal Heroine(TM) that she was led to believe that she should be....) but he backstab her and got to do The Wish... essentially turning the five seasons arc into a Bad Guy Wins, and all her trauma was essentially for nothing.... And adding the burden of another secret over her shoulders (is she even *able* to tell? what evidence does she have?)....

She was not allowed to rescue Nooroo -> instead the poor kwami will be forced to serve Lila...

And can we mention that even after Lila's lies were exposed... it made no difference? Lila suffered no setback and (under her other identities) is still free to manipulate and becoming the next Big Bad of the series, starting will way too much information to use?

Sorry for the rant, but I needed to vent...
