hi! I love your blog!! It can be hard to find jiang cheng appreciators so this is really awesome lol. I was wondering if you had any Jiang cheng fic recs? My favorite trope is hurt/comfort and I’m ok with no ships or any ship except for chengxian (incest/pseudo incest is a huge squick for me) and Jiang cheng/lan jingyi (age gaps are not my thing). Any thoughts? I’ve been scouring ao3 but even when you search the Jiang cheng filter you get so many with him as a side character instead of main 😭 Anyways, either way I hope you have a good day!!

first off, a disclaimer - i'm pretty big on sangcheng and fluff, but here are some fics in my bookmarks that you might like (featuring jiujiu as a main character!) in no particular order:

little orange easily one of my favourite purely jiujiu genfics. you get to witness adorable 5-year-old jiujiu, what's not to love?

moments played in the dark jiang cheng and his secret admirer over the years. follows canon; starts off sweet and becomes more serious later on.

i knew you in another life, you had that same look in your eyes, i love you, don't act so surprised jiang cheng gets cursed to say and do what he really feels for a day. jiang cheng-centric hurt/comfort featuring yunmeng shuangjie reconciliation and xicheng.

my wish are flowers, staining my days sangcheng hanahaki fic, basically. it's painful and bittersweet, but it has great characterisation and is definitely a good read!

dandelions and daydreams this one is more jin ling-centric, but jiujiu plays a big part. don't let the summary turn you off, the juniors' puppy love is treated lightheartedly, and it's a really entertaining read!
