Welcome to this blog. This blog is dedicated to sharing Backyardigans screenshots with silly captions, some of them being accurate, while others are not. This blog exists merely for entertainment purposes and for those who are nostalgic for this show. As of right now, this blog's on semi-hiatus since the owner has little motivation to get screenshots for the original series, but I will voice my grievances with the "reboot". forgot to post this last night since I was preparing to go to bed when I made the last post, but if you guys ever need me for anything, I'm not very active on Tumblr, but here's my main blog. it's midnight in my area now, so that means tomorrow this blog will be 10 years old. No, I don't have anything planned for it. I made this blog as a stupid 17 year old who was struggling during their second semester of their final year of high school, and a lot of the jokes I made in the older posts were super cringe. I still hold this show near and dear to me as I'm pushing 30, but this blog's not my priority anymore. Regardless, I still appreciate the people who stuck around for all this time. This blog's not going anywhere, and neither am I. My interests and priorities have changed (mainly doing art and having a huge hyperfixation on Cookie Run), but this blog will be a time capsule of my horrendous teenage humor. Important: please read

Hey guys. I kinda dread having to make this post, but unfortunately, I have to. This is regarding the future of this blog.

I’ve been getting really bored of watching this show endlessly just to get screenshots of it. I’m going to be 20 next month, so I want to move on and do bigger and better things, not constantly work on a blog dedicated to some kids show. This series only has 80 episodes, therefore I can’t just work my ass off and get screenshots for every single episode. I own a few of the DVDs but they’re housed on my shelf and my desk is against the window, so I don’t really have the optimism to get them off the shelf and into my CD jack in my laptop. I’m also super stressed out and depressed that looking at this show won’t make me feel better.

What does this mean? This blog is going to come to a close in posting very soon. There’s 271 images in the queue that need to be posted, so once they’re all up, no more screenshots will be posted. No, the blog won’t be deleted. It’ll stay up for the sole purpose it was made for; entertainment. There’s over 6000 posts on this blog and 98% of them are screenshots. All the characters are tagged accordingly, so if you want to look at a specific character, there’ll always be something of them in their tag. I’ll be closing the ask box and submission box once everything in the queue has been posted.

If you want to keep following me, the person who put so much time and effort into making this blog, my main blog is alumikans, where I frequently reblog stuff and talk about things. I have other blogs on my other blogs page that get updated from time to time so you can check them out too (just fyi two of them are NSFW because I’ve been dabbling into that stuff lately).

Thank you everybody for this experience. It was a fun two years, but sadly, I have to this all to an end. I’m grateful this blog managed to be built up to what it is today. This show is probably not gonna be renewed for new seasons or a reboot, but hey, we should treasure this show since it was a part of a lot of our childhoods. I hope this blog can keep sharing good childhood memories of this show, even after everything has been posted. Once again, thank you all.

Hey guys, do NOT blame me about this, but, if you like NEWS FLASH, then you are WRONG.

Breaking down this episode means a lot to me, so, yeah, let’s break this down.

When I started going onto Apple TV, I saw THE BACKYARDIGANS.

I saw all of the episodes from 1 to 80, I was like “oh yeah, let’s distinguish with the episodes that are GOOD and BAD”

But, I didn’t choose the GOOD stuff, I choose the BAD stuff.

I choose this. See. News Flash.

Boy, did I feel stupid about that.

I started watching the episode after that. I am gonna have a major addiction.

When I started watching it, the theme song was on. It was like, very annoying by the second. I skipped it completely.

Then, after the theme ended, there was this logo of the episode’s name.

I saw Uniqua going out onto the backyard saying “Oh, there is news in the backyard.”

He said “HI” to me in the face, and that was kinda rude. He said he was a Sarah Hatoff.

A sarah hatoff.

THAT IS CRAZY. HE DEFINTELY LOOKED LIKE THAT. THAT WAS A LOT OF PAIN.

Before the first song came, I gotten SO MAD at the second.

I skipped it, and he was ready to go to the news station, being in his outfit.

WTF, I say.

See. That is not good.

But, when I skipped between a few scenes, I saw him talking crap to farmers.

THOSE ARE THE FARMERS, YOU IDIOT. YES. THEY ARE TYRONE and PABLO. THEY HATE YOU.

Also, all they say is “Well, uh, well, uh, well, uh, well, uh, we did not do this, we did not do that”. O M G, T H A T I S W H A T T H E Y D I D S A Y.

After that, Uniqua got so crazy with her eyes and mouth.

And, when I saw him doing this, I screamed out loud in pain. “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.”

I was not happy about that. And that pissed my ass all the way off.

I turned it off altogether.

Yeah, this episode was really bad, you know.

Also, that was not good.

Talking crap, being weird, being stupid, wearing an outfit, all this nonsense.

That was crazy, bro.

After that, I gave this an X.
