This is a blog dedicated to reviewing fantrolls! Much like thetrollreview blog. (I made this one because they've had their submission box clogged up for a long time, and I figured there were probably still people who wanted such a service!) I answer any and all questions on fantrolls (that I can reasonably give an answer to, anyway.) I also run the homestuckcanonconfirmer blog, and I would appreciate it if anything that's specifically a question about something in canon (and not a question about fantrolls) were sent there, instead! (Though I will still answer questions regardless of where you send them.) “Elliot” is a fairly human name, so you might possibly want to change it a little, but it’s not really needed or anything.

Two comments on the blood:

Firstly, in the image you have the sign is VERY hard to see with the color you chose. I might suggest making it a little brighter/lighter.

Secondly, “Blue Violet” is not really a caste? Blue and violet both describe different castes (blue is Vriska/Equius, violet is Eridan.)

Indigo would probably be the appropriate descriptor for this troll’s blood caste.

Again, Elyjah is a name that is literally only one letter away from Elijah. It’s not NEEDED to change it, but also human or human-sounding names are generally less likely for trolls.

Keep in mind that inanimate objects don’t usually get names in completed sprites! Just look at Nannasprite and Jaspersprite. They’re not Nannaquinsprite and Jaspentaclesprite, or anything.

Also worth noting: Human/troll names override animals, such as with Davesprite and Jadesprite, who are not Birdavesprite and Jadebecsprite or anything.

Class: Witch of Hope

Planet: Land of Beasts and Smoke

It’s worth noting that the only lands that have reference to animals in the name is the space players, with “Land of [Blank] and Frogs.”

You could probably include Eridan’s angels in there too, but also that was a very special thing that no one else had anything similar to- if you’re going to make Beasts a thing, it should at least be very impactful on her game and make her planet noticeably different to play on than any other of her friend’s.

If you want to go by regular homestuck themeing, each word should start with either A, T, C, or G. But this is not actually needed, just something I thought I’d point out.

This isn’t a personality thing, but I think you went a little overboard with the caps? You should mostly just capitalize things that are particularly relevant, and also you don’t need to go back into lower case for the words “and” and such.

This isn’t a huge thing, it would just make it slightly easier to read.

Okay, this is my first time submitting anything to a blog. Sorry if I’m doing this wrong! ;_;

This is Urulok Dynami. All I have for him so far is the name and design. I just wanted to know if anything is wrong with him design-wise.

You didn’t do it wrong!! Although the image is very low quality and the colors are hard to judge.

The symbol is a little big (and possibly a bit too complex, but certainly not TERRIBLY so.)

The stripes on the shirt are a little odd for troll attire, just because it’s usually a solid color (black generally) with the sign on it, but that’s not exactly a terrible issue or something you need to change.

As far as the sprite goes, the legs are much bigger than the upper body is. I would probably recommend making the upper body a bit wider.

The hair is also a little tall while still looking like it’s supposed to be like... Relaxed? It looks like he’s wearing a hat more than that it’s his hair, so you might want to lower it a bit closer to his head!

It looks like you took a picture of a screen here, so I’m not sure how accurate it is, but from the image it looks like the blood is a bit too pale/light. It’s hard to tell without having the pure picture file, though.

Alright so here we have ELFEST DREDHO elfest was inspired by mount everest as in relation to cold and snow which is what also inspired his personality! But we’ll get into that later

I read this as “Elfist Druido” (like an elf druid is what i thought of.) But that has nothing to do with the character and more to do with my dyslexic reading omg. I just thought it was a bit funny!

Name: elfest dredho Sweeps: 7 Sex: male Blood: jade (yes I know jade is a rare cast and it’s even more rare for a male to be hatched I realize this but….I couldn’t help myself I just like exotic trolls you know?)

Hmmmm well. I don’t have too much of a problem with people making jadeblooded characters (or even male jadeblooded characters) if they’re done well, but. I have to say that a certain thing seeming “”exotic”” is one of the worst reasons to choose something for a character.

This is because it comes off as elevating or liking a certain thing/feature just because it seems rare and exotic in the current situation, instead of having any actual relevance to what you wanted out of the character or taking into account more than that certain aspect.

This is much more heinous when talking about real-life races, but needless to say that people describing liking something as because it’s “exotic” does not sit well with me.

This does not mean that you can’t make a male jadeblooded character- but you should really try to take into account what that entails, and why that is relevant to this character in particular. We know that jadebloods take on a matriarchal role, in general- how does he feel about this? You mention later on that he treats others like his family, almost like children- is this because he feels that he’s “supposed” to take care of people?

Or if he has any disdain for his place as a jadeblood, is he upset with himself when he finds himself acting in a parental way toward his friends?

We haven’t gotten much confirmation for what being a male jadeblood implies, either. That would be an interesting opportunity to elaborate on it- is the role for a male jadeblood supposed to be different, if even slightly? Is he always immediately assumed to be a girl because of his text color? Does this annoy him? Does he angrily correct people, or do it politely? Or does he not correct people at all?

Does he know about other male jadebloods? Does he have any feeling that he’s weird for not being female? Is he insecure in his masculinity? Do others assume he’s feminine because of his blood color?

These are all interesting questions you could pose based on his blood color, instead of giving it to him just because it’s “exotic” and then not doing anything with it past that.

Quirk: a=ą o=ó u=ű there’s no particular reason for the quirk unfortunately

Perhaps you could make it based off an accent, like Eridan’s is said to be a “wavy accent”; Accents on letters usually indicate they’re meant to be pronounced a certain way. Maybe he pronounces all of his Us a certain way, or all of his Os a certain way, presumably based off of a human language and what that particular accent on the letter would sound like.

In this case you’d probably want to write out a few sentences and either say them out loud or find some text-to-speech website (which will use the accents to make the appropriate sounds) and see if it sounds plausible, even if you don’t specifically point attention to it in writing/storytelling/ect.

Lusus: his Lusus is based on the legend known as the wendigo a malevolent evil spirit that dwells in the mountains and forests, it’s power is at its fullest during the winter the spirit is unleashed should any man or woman commit an act of cannibalism; his name is wally, wally the wendigo :3

Looks pretty cool! Does his lusus have any other particular significance to the actual troll, apart from the fact that they are most powerful in the winter?

And, furthermore, how does this lusus differ from the wendigos of legend? You mention that Wally is “based off of” the wendigo, which implies some difference somewhere.

Personality: elfest is a more distant type of person even to those close to him, he’s a more of a STOIC character he can hide his emotions and feelings very well, behind one of his usual cold and blank expressions. But despite this he obviously expresses his feelings when he wants to and when he means something he’s firm and honest about it, he can get frustrated with his friends when they make mistakes but only because he cares he sees them as siblings his CHILDREN if you prefer that term he only wants the best for them.

You mention that he is distant to even those he’s close to, but that he “obviously expresses his feelings when he wants to.” This kind of clashes with each other just a bit, and would require some clarification for me to understand exactly what this means!

So what exactly dictates when he “wants” to? And if he is easily able to express his feelings when he does want to, why is he distant? A lot of people are distant because they don’t know how to express their feelings or just don’t like people in general, which does not seem to be the case with him. Others seem distant because they’ve been hurt in the past and have trouble opening up/connecting to people as a result, which also doesn’t seem to be the case with the apparent ease he has with expressing things when he “wants” to.

Other people are distant because they think it makes them stronger, or that sharing feelings is weak by definition. (Men in human society often do it as well because it’s not “masculine” to talk about or express your feelings, which you could possibly translate to him if that fits his character.)

So my interest would be in why he is distant if he has an easy time expressing himself; Or the other way around. Why he finds it so easy to express himself when he is usually extremely distant from others in general.

Land of: frost and spirits

Keep in mind that titles (and by extent, lands) to not always play directly into people’s strengths! You do not have to change this, of course, as there are plenty of characters who have lands that fit them pretty well. It’s just a good thing to keep in mind.

Derse/prospit?: prospit

Interests: he’s very intrigued and fascinated by cryptids mythological beings spiritual entities phenomena charms voodoos dark arts unexplained occurrences demons angels and so on he in fact pursues his dream by collecting ancient artifacts weird nicknacks charms potions etc when he isn’t doing much he enjoys writing in journals that contains information on his studies and findings or reading I mean who doesn’t love a good book? Or if he’s not reading/writing he well kill time by sculpting figurines and faces

Dislikes: idiots who don’t use common sense or good Grammer and punctuation being judged and criticized for his beliefs and studies

A more interesting way to explain/thing to think of might be what he does when confronted with these things.

Is he rude to those who do not use proper grammar/punctuation? Does he treat them as lesser? Or does he just generally avoid conversations with people of that sort? Or is his dislike simply in the way of correcting his friends when they say something “incorrectly?”

How about people who criticize his beliefs/studies. Does he have passionate, open debates? The way you put it makes it seem more like he’s the sort to get upset just based on the fact that they’re criticizing him, while not taking into account the validity of the points the other person’s making.

That’s not a bad thing if you have that be the case, of course! It’s quite a good character flaw, and it can mean many other things- Does he shun those people? Or stubbornly refuse to believe anything they say could be valid? (That one applies to those who don’t use grammar/punctuation correctly as well. Many people will assume those who have trouble with or don’t care about grammar/spelling/punctuation are “stupid” and will assume everything these people say is going to be wrong by definition.)

Strife: a sword/knife type sorta resembles a machete they are made out of bone, he spent lots of time and effort on carving them they are very useful for carving and slicing meat

Now, this is something you have to ask yourself with this kind of weapon: Is there a practical reason for choosing this or did you choose it just because it sounded cool?

Because, let’s face it- there are few creatures (or at least few creatures that would be easy to kill) whose bones would be big enough to carve into a knife or sword like the one you drew above; And if one were to make an implement like that it may very plausibly weaken the structure of the bone.

Not to mention, while bones ARE incredibly strong, it’s usually in one direction- whichever one is most pressing for the bone. Leg bones, for example, would be strong at holding things on the top and bottom. They’re built for holding your body in exactly that way, and taking a lot of stress and weight from those angles. But hit them from the side, and it’s much more likely that they’ll be cracking and falling apart.

Here’s a good video that talks about it. It even gives a demonstration with a cow’s femur!

So, even if the structure of the bone isn’t already hurt by the carving of it, the way you hit is going to be pretty important. Stabbing straight forward might work fine, but as far as slashing and bashing down on someone with brute force, that thing’s probably going to snap right in half.

Of course, there are plenty of swords that are made for stabbing instead of chopping- But comparing it to a machete doesn’t really give the idea that stabs were what you were going for.

Then there’s the question of why he would WANT to have swords/knives made out of bones. I could certainly see carving them as a sort of hobby or collector’s thing (or a show of strength by being like “look at all these bones from stuff I’ve killed,” I guess?) But is there any particular relevance for why the bone should be the material it’s made out of? Also, on that whole note, where does he get the bones from? What animal, or is it a variety of different ones? Which bones does he use to carve these swords?

When did he start doing this? Does he have any other weapons? What is he fighting/what is he using them for, primarily? And how well would this sort of weapon work with those creatures/obstacles realistically speaking?

Commenting on his relationship with Tyrain, you mentioned that she also always stands up for what she believes in.

Do they believe in the same things, or do they butt heads? If they are both very outspoken about their beliefs it may do well to think of how their beliefs interact with each other.

I think overall he’s alright! For him I’d focus on doing research into the sorts of subjects he’s got, as well as better fleshing out the “why”s to things (if that makes sense!)

Reptiles might be a little iffy for a land, because the consorts are already all reptiles and amphibians as a rule- the only land that would probably reference either of these would be the space player’s land (which is always Land of ____ and Frogs)

Is there any particular reason for this as a quirk, or no? It looks a bit like it has no significance to her, but then again you could always ADD canon significance if this is the case (Like Terezi’s “blind prophets” explanation.)

Personality: kind ,caring, a little overbearing she stands up for what she believes in,she is very adventurous Likes: her friends, she treats them like family, rock climbing, cooking,adventuring, being organized and such Dislikes: seeing people she cares for hurt sad etc…, she doesn’t care for violence all that much but will use it if absolutely needed

Please keep in mind that the higher on the blood caste you go, the more violent and prone to anger trolls tend to be!

You can have this be her thing if you want, but it might be more interesting if you made it that she was actively fighting AGAINST being violent and angry, rather than having it come naturally to her.

Personality: He basically believes he’s better in things than anyone else. He can be really thoughtless about others, simply not caring about their feelings(at all). Riksta enjoys adventures and adventure stories. He brags about this and seems to forget how scared he was when he was on said adventure. He bites people when he gets angry. refers to landdwellers as Clayeaters or Drylanders.

Bio: Riksta does not have much of an interesting past. He was taken from the caves by a caring (but violent) lusus and grew up with enjoyable hunting trips, riding on his lusus when he got tired. To spice it up a little he started doing dangerous stuff, like exploring the land without a suitable water supply, diving so deep he got unable to see,,,that kind of things. The ring on his horn was put there by a jadeblood called Topaas when they both were young. He kept it on there too long and now it’s stuck.

Two things: How is he not able to see deep under water? Is it because it’s dark? If so, keep in mind that trolls can see in very dark places! (Presumably near-pitch-blackness) and that Feferi’s hive seemed to be quite far out and deep down in the ocean.

And then, I will assume that there is more of a story with Topaas- but this does not give me enough detail to determine whether or not it’s more interesting than “hey this is just a thing that happened.”

I would also like to point out, if the ring fit snugly when he was young, and he can no longer get it off, it’s probably embedded at this point, right?

When you have something fastened securely around something else, and then that thing continues to grow, it will generally either snap (sometimes still embedded in the thing if it’s grown around it enough) or it the thing will grow around it.

This happens often in dogs whose owners never change their tiny puppy collars (be careful if you plan to look this up as it is NOT a happy sight,) but on a horn it would probably be less dangerous and more just painful/uncomfortable/disorienting, depending on the specifics of how you decide to make troll horns work. Maybe none of these, if you have them not have nerves at all, or figure they just have nerves in the base.

This got a bit long but hey! I just wanted to point it out, especially because the way it’s drawn makes it look mostly like it’s either just a little snug or would be able to take off (if the fork of his horns wasn’t there, anyway.)

Which is another comment on the ring; how did they put it on if he has that fork of his horns? As far as we’ve seen troll’s horns are always the same shape, with maybe more curving or elongating/thickening over time, depending on the troll. Just something to think about!

Likes: ship/boats, storytelling, risking his life, 

As I comment often, try and give him a few more interests outside of his main theme of adventure!

Dislikes: people singing, pirates, actually being at a point where he could die, when people refuse to answer him because he didn’t ask a question.

It’s a little messy. I might suggest something more like this:

Or a slightly slanted version of it. The way it is currently is just a little to curve-y, and while there are troll signs with curves (Gamzee, Kanaya, Aradia’s to some extent) it’s not usually such exaggerated lines, unless it’s going into a proper loop.

That said, it doesn’t need to be changed if you don’t want to!

Ancestor (if troll): The Voyageur. A trader/sailor and the captain of the Golden Amarant. legend says The Voyageur could travel trough different dimentions, but it is more likely he just sailed really fast and on really strange places.

Meaning: Lumase comes from Samuel –samuel morse. Also refers to lumen= light, in which morse is often coded. AYYLU is a short sentence in morse meaning ‘Not clearly coded, repeat more clearly’ .  an e is one single dot, easily accidentally slipped into a word, so code becomes unclear: “AYYLU”

After reading through it seems there’s not a stated reason for this. I would assume that it’s just going along with his “mysterious person” theme, but you should still probably think out a reason WHY he does these things, whether a concrete reason or an impulsive thing, or maybe paranoia??

Interesting as well! But is there any reason he repeats the truth in the code? Is it a challenge to decode to whoever he’s speaking to or just a compulsive thing?

Personality: Lumase, or Ayeylu as he’ll always introduce himself by his last name, is the type of person that prefers not to talk too much. he’s observant and likes to just watch people from the distance. it’s better not to try to take off his hood or mask, as a knive may come from where you least expect it.(not really, but it’ll come at you quickly). he’s swift with his movements and walks silently.

Keep in mind that if he’s on Beforus, he’d likely be wanted for this. Assuming anyone reported being stabbed, at least. They’re a much more peaceful society than Alternia was, anyway. It doesn’t seem like they were that into the whole “stab random people” thing.

Can we get some clarification on what you mean by “powerlines?” The word is something I’ve only heard used in reference to city power lines, and I’m not sure if that’s what you actually mean. Nor am I sure how she would alter them, other than being able to possibly shut them off or turn them on.

Personality: Flumen’s calm, subtile and avoids social contact as much as possible. She is (mostly) friendly towards those who talk to her though. Electricity gives her a headache, and while she does have a computer it’s mostly turned off because of this. She can be mysterious, not wearing her feelings(or anything at all) on her sleeve. She may be found wandering through the fields singing or playing absurd instruments that make humming sounds. She sings in ancient languages that haven’t been spoken on beforus for ages. she is a strong believer in faith and destiny. She thinks everything that happens to her or others was ment to be and won’t complain.

Is there any particular reason that she knows these ancient languages? Does she have a highblood caretaker/friend, or something of the sort, who made the resources to do so available to her? Or does she have some connection to ancient people somehow?

Likes: birds singing, watching the moon rise/set, solitude, ancient languages.

Remember that the Alternian (and presumably Beforus by extent) sun is not usually able to be withstood by anyone but a handful of trolls! If she is not one of these trolls, then it’s definitely a kind of dangerous game she’s playing there, with watching the moon rise/set.

I won’t say that the name is “not allowed” or something ridiculous like that, but troll names are usually more linked to other words in different languages that mean something similar to the english word being referenced. Again, it’s not something you NEED to change, just something I thought I would mention!

Also, not entirely related, but it’s hard for me to tell how exactly to pronounce this name as well.

What dictates the change in capitals? I would think that every-other word was the theme, but for some reason over and lazy are different? It seem just a bit odd, and I’m not sure if there’s a specific reason for it! Or what the relevance of this quirk is to the character.

Personality: Goccar likes robots, but though it might seem like an obsession it really is not. He paints his face with spilled oil ever since he’s been young and it became sort of a habit. He likes to be in his hive working on silly (clockwork) machines that seem not to have any use but also greatly values his friends and social contact, even though he is mocked oftenly.

What makes it seem like an obsession? And how is it “really not?” Is there anything in particular in his habits that would make him seem obsessive? What thing do others not see that proves that it’s not? Or do his friends just jokingly act like it is?

Also what lead to the painting of his face. Was there any particular reason he did it as a kid? Of course it could have been a thing that he didn’t really think about, like a compulsive thing as he worked. But I’m curious of if there’s any overall significance to it, and how he feels about it, if he feels anything.

I would suggest giving him a few more likes outside of his main theme, unless there is a reason for why he keeps to that one general interest.

Dislikes: when his lusus keeps breaking even though he repaired it just 5 minutes ago, not being able to get the parts he needs, meat.

Lusus/Guardian: mechanical bison that was never ment to be the lusus of a young troll at all. It was a robot made by the Tinkerer to replace the original bison that was killed by hunting highbloods. Against all expectations, it remained working and started to care for Goccar like a Lusus would. It breaks all the time, though.

Keep in mind that if he’s on Beforus then hunting lusi would probably be illegal! So I might change “hunting highbloods” to something like “lusus poachers.”

It would make sense, then, for him to try and construct a new lusus to prove that he still had someone to take care of him, if he is particularly against the idea of being moved into a highblood home and taken care of.

Also, looking down lower, it seems that his ancestor made this lusus for him? Which doesn’t make much sense, as his ancestor would be dead. It might be more likely that he found his ancestor’s creation, for instance, and decided to try and repair it.

I’m not sure I understand what trash that is? Is this a junkyard or are we talking random bottles and such that get tossed out? Why highbloods specifically?

I would remind you that lower blooded trolls are less likely to believe in or know about their ancestors, and that a lower blooded troll would be pretty unlikely to be known as a “great inventor” without some pretty good reasoning.

How did she find out about her ancestor? And how did her ancestor become famous for such a thing, without their invention’s credit being potentially taken by higher blooded trolls, or otherwise erased from history?

Likes: Building, fast food (or the troll equivalent thereof), and playing games with her lusus

Dislikes:The caste system, being bossed around, spare time

Personality: She is pretty loud-mouthed (which isn’t the best of traits to have if your a lowblood). She can be pretty snippy at times especiall to those who think they can walk all over her. She wants to become more of a leader and someone her friends can look up to, but is constantly underestimated due to her class. 

I would say that “underestimated” would be much more likely to be “ready to have her plans crushed beneath someone’s boots.”

I won’t say that she can’t be loud-mouthed or angry at those who try to act like they’re better, however I would use caution when deciding how to go about having her do it- because while talking back to friends who likely don’t know where you live in the first place is one thing, being able to get away with that with (what I would assume to be numerous) higher blooded trolls that are around the city would be much less likely.

There’s not enough information for me to tell if that’s what you intended or not, but I thought I would mention anyway.

I’ll preface this by saying sorry that it took so long to do this!

So! I tried to do a albino troll that isnt an idiot.  Name: None yet Blood Color: Pale indigo. Hides behind a dark indigo

I’m not entirely sure that albinism would change the color of the blood, but given that they’re a different species from us I guess I can’t say for sure!

Age: 12 sweeps Alternian or Beforan?: Alternian, and by some magiks of her session she wasn’t culled immediately going through the trials as a grub

I mean, so long as she was rocketed into Alternia by a meteor and didn’t happen to land in the brooding caverns, then that’s pretty fair- there might not be any lusus that would accept her, though, and I’m not sure that the construction drones would overlook something so visible, as compared to Karkat’s blood mutation which they wouldn’t really be able to tell on without cutting him- which, I guess I just mean to suggest she might have to raise herself and build her own hive.

Hobbies: She usually sits at home reading, writing or doing other quiet things like that. Though sometimes when she’s feeling brave, she loves going to parks, taking walks and meeting new people (Does alternia even have parks? IDk)

They might! I’m not sure we have anything confirming/denying their existence. Although most of Alternia seems pretty wild in itself, so I guess a stroll through the woods would work just as well.

Where She Lives: As far as possible from any large body of water AKA anywhere far away from any seadwellers. She doesn’t like taking chances. Likes: Hunting in the quiet forest near her hive. She loves taking down large, wild lusii when she can. She loves writing, and reading exotic books. (By exotic I mean books from places far from where she resides on Alternia. Across the planet) 

Is there anything in particular behind her fascination with taking down wild lusi? Or is it just the general thrill of killing a lot of the higher bloods seem to be prone to (especially indigos.) Also why lusi specifically?

Dislikes: Being in large crowds, being anywhere where she has any chance of rubbing off any of her make up. 

Okay, yeah, I was about to ask about that, because I wasn’t entirely sure what she was doing to hide it- makeup and wigs: p much confirmed.

Personality: Bubbly around people she trusts, though she usually tries to stay hidden around large crowds or people she’s just met. She’s very cautious about her blood color showing off. She’s seriously clumsy, and she’s had a few accidents with that (accidentally injuring herself to a point of bleeding and such) Though somehow she’s been lucky enough to cover her injury before her color is noticed

“Clumsy” doesn’t seem like a thing that would work very well with her, if she’s trying to hide her blood (not in the sense that you should change her)- which I guess brings me to the question of if she lives around anyone else? It would make sense if she was mostly away from cities and such, especially if she’s having accidents that would possibly reveal her blood color to an audience if she happened to live around other trolls.

Ancestor: The Falconer A well known huntress, surprisingly, known for hunting mutants and ‘freaks’ that somehow escaped the trials. 

The Falconer is not also albino, I would assume?

Other things: She uses hair dye to cover her naturally light grey hair, and special contacts to cover her eyes. 

We have not yet seen either of these things in Alternian culture (although Beforan trolls are shown to at least have hair dye.) Not saying you should change it, but I’ll just mention it anyway- eye contacts specifically seem like they would be an Illegal Thing, because they could easily let you lie about your blood color. (Not that she couldn’t still get them off a friend or something, I suppose.)

It takes her up to 3 hours to get herself ready to even go on a quick hunting run. Her hive has literally no windows so she doesnt have to wear the make up 24/7. 

I suppose that answers my question about her living near people/towns?

In any timeline where she ends up not playing the game she’s culled either in the trials or by the time she’s 4 sweeps old.

I’m not sure that it would be possible for her to BE in a timeline where she doesn’t play the game, because if she doesn’t play then no one can make her through ectobiology, and she wouldn’t exist. (Unless she just dies before entering the game, which I guess could happen like it did to John and Jade.)

When dead she gives up on covering up her freakish colors. I mean, she’s already dead, whats the harm in being yourself in the dream bubbles? 

I’m also not sure they would have dream bubbles! The kids and trolls in Homestuck only have those because of Feferi (and possibly Meenah for her crew), so unless they have someone to convince the horrorterrors then I’m not sure I see that happening.

No problem! Another thing I was going to mention before I go, is that it seems like she’s still albino on Prospit, but also still covers herself? Which seems kind of odd, because it’s been implied by Calliope that your dream-self is kind of exactly that- what you think you SHOULD be.

Would this imply, then, that she thinks her albinism is something more important to her than just a thing she has to deal with hiding? (I would not at all want to imply that she HAS to want to change it, of course, I’m just curious on her own opinions of it and what it means to her, past imminent culling!)

Also, if she is awake on prospit at any time, does she find any familiarity with the prospitian’s extremely pale complexions? Kind of like Karkat did with Jack also having red blood? Unless worried about her friends finding out, I’m not sure she would have to worry TOO much about hiding herself on Prospit. (But then, I’m also not sure of how many of her friends know her secret, if any.)

Is there any reason that she dislikes other seadwellers? Why does she feel particularly against them, when she is one? Is there a reason she isn’t particularly “stuck up” herself, in the way that is usual for seadwellers to be brought up?

Ah, okay good! It showed that there were three in the post, but I could only see one! Glad to know it wasn’t that I missed out on anything.

As for how to properly title a troll movie: Basically you just want to make them as horrendously long and plot-spoiling as possible. List the number of on-screen explosions, how many lines can be considered “humorous,” how many characters wear unusual hats. Things like that, that have pretty much no reason for being in a movie title, ever.

Rulari is very prone to temperament issues as she will blow up at anyone who she views is trying to belittle her in any way shape or form. Of course, this comes from insecurity. I would be interested to hear more about how this “what I’m supposed to think” vs “what I want it to be like” sort of thing works. Does the bossy attitude come naturally, or is she just trying too hard to act like she thinks she’s supposed to?
