I must admit. I long for your touch. The simple act of you taking my hand sends shivers down my spine. When you take my hand, or simply stroke my arm, it goes way beyond my skin. You’re touching my soul and caressing my heart. My entire body relaxes from its normal rigid state. Your touch brings me a sense of peace and belonging. It goes much deeper than the simple intimate act of holding hands. In you touch, I find comfort that words could never express. When your body touches mine, the entire world disappears. There’s something incredibly intoxicating about the gentleness of you. You touch is more than affection. It’s a quiet reminder that this is where I belong. That I belong to you. And, you belong to me. I truly long for those moments more than I can explain. The closeness, the warm of your skin against mine, the quiet affirmation of your love, doesn’t just awaken my body. It awakens every hidden, vulnerable, aching part of my body and soul.
